Hey Greg. Firstly, I absolutely love the honesty in your videos. Bless you! There's so much content out there and it can get intimidating. I really appreciate what you're doing. Secondly, I have a request - at this stage in my life, I'm dealing with crippling mental health issues and I've pretty much given up on keeping a full time job. I also deal with tons of confidence issues as a result of my mental health. Since I can't hold a job, I don't have the funds for online courses. Sorry to hear that. This is definitely the right place at the right time though. To hopefully help give you some peace of mind, I was fired out of the blue many years ago and at first it was devastating but then after finding out about online business it lead to a life that was definitely not on track to achieve with that job. Thanks for the comment. Looking forward to helping you build a solid income stream from online businesses. As for drop shipping, I’ve done it and made money but I don’t recommend it. It was too hands on and time consuming compared to other businesses. For tshirts, yes I still do print on demand too! Thanks for the comment! I think the competition for KDP overall is high, but the word search book niche is very low competition right now. The video in the description shows a real example on a brand new account with only organic traffic. Already generating sales almost everyday with no marketing at all 👍

Exactly, it's great that you have a lot of knowledge in this area and I really do love your presentation, but honestly, I'm a pretty smart guy and my wife and I have been publishing on KDP for a while and sell a lot of low content coloring books and a few word search books, but the amount we spend on ads far exceeds what we make with the actual selling of the books. So it's kind of misleading to say that there's potential to make any type of extra income... we keep at it... but we certainly do not know what the secret is to really take off and make some substantial money with this type of business. I am a creative director at an Ad agency now for 30 ...so I am an effective graphic designer, voice over person and can make designs and graphic material for clients all the time. So making very polished, professional-looking covers and Graphics is not the problem. It's being seen! It's getting reviews and getting noticed enough to sell enough books to make real money! Well that's my two cents. Once again love your presentation but it would be great to have some realistic, maybe some hacks or some inside information that could really take some of us to the next level. If that even exists. Lol😊

Hi Greg, thank you for the valuable information you provide us with. I have been watching your tutorial on how to create puzzle books for KDP, using your custom GPT to generate the words. I tried creating a list of 495 items related to Christmas and sadly, I had several repeats. Now, I know there must be certain topics that can hardly generate so many terms, one of them being Christmas, apparently. How can I be certain I have a list with no repeats if I use the custom GPT you created? Thank you again for taking the time to help us with tips and tricks.
Thanks for the comment! Great question. Try prompting it with multiple similar niches. For instance Christmas Santa Winter and it should have more to work with. It’s not supposed to repeat any results, but AI sometimes has a kind of its own!

That’s a good question. I think that would fall into copyright protection. I’d try to stay away from any recognizable brand to be safe.
this is cool but how is the gpt able to get so many different words related to one niche? in your example, with 9 words per puzzle, that would be like 495 words all related to camping? how is that possible without duplicating words? there can only be so many words related to camping.
Great question. It uses both single words, two-words, and then when needed three-words. So it can go to something like "Bug Spray" or "Camping Stove". All while staying under the maximum character count allowed to work for the word searches 👍

I've submitted so many notebooks but they're not approved by kdp
Yeah the notebooks (blank low-content books) got over-saturated in the last couple years. These word search books are considered medium-content and I haven’t had a single one not get approved. I’ve had them get rejected for too many keywords in the title and author names, but after changing them and resubmitting they all have been approved. I’d recommend trying a word search next and seeing if you get approved 👍

Thanks for the suggestion. A lot of the full tutorial in the description also relates to how to make journals, but I personally think journals are over saturated now. I’d recommend word searches if you want to get into KDP. It’s far less competitive because less people know how to make word search puzzles compared to blank pages in a journal. I hope that’s helpful!

@ I pay for it monthly to be able to build the Custom GPT, but you should be able to use it for free. Sometimes AI has a mind of its own. It’s supposed to complete the list for you. Just reply “you stopped at X words, but this list is supposed to have 495 words” and it should acknowledge the mistake and rewrite it for you 👍

I have uploaded 2 books after following your video. I have sold 6 books in each one. The problem is my listing is so far down in the listings that no one but my family and friends will ever see them. What can I do to get more traffic?
No worries! That’s totally normal and you’ll still get sales 👍 The search results look different for every search query so you may be showing on the first page for something else that people are searching. Rest assured though, the books will naturally move their way towards the first page it just doesn’t happen straight away. It’s just a rinse and repeat process from here, getting more books out there to do their thing!

I wish everything was free forever, but nowadays it seems like nothing is truly free. I will say though, book bolt has that 3 day free trial so you can absolutely create enough books during that time and get them published to start generating noticeable income that first month 👍
