This foundation!!! I bought it based on your recommendation and it looked so pretty when I applied it. Many, many, many hours of mask wearing later, I got a bit shiny from the continuous hot-breath facial from said mask, but a quick blot with some one-ply toilet paper (all I had access to at work) and it went back to looking freshly applied. FYI - the shine is no worse than what I would have gotten from any other foundation, however, when I blot with a blotting paper, the other foundations come right off. This is really comfortable and beautiful. I even used this under my eyes in place of concealer (because I was lazy) and it gave medium coverage and no creasing and it did not emphasize my eye wrinkles. This is my new favorite! Thanks Tara.

I’m curious to know how good is that compared to tom ford shade and illuminate foundation? The amount of coverage and glow… My new standard is how much my mom likes the foundation.. you know the 50s skin fine lines and she is using meds causing her dryness.. i can’t tell you how happy my mom with the tom ford one when i brought it, no matter how it costs… it’s difficult to find a foundation with the right coverage that looks outstanding on maturing skin.. she got a compliment from my dad while he didn’t know she changed anything in her makeup thanks to all of you for recommending it.. I do enjoy a soft matt finish, my Tom Ford is beautiful and this Valentino Very Valentino looks absolutely stunning! I actually appreciate their shade range finder. It makes total sense to me. Ooooooh, I'm so excited to get this - my No Buy has gone out of the window as far as this foundation is concerned. My dry/mature skin is going to love it. I'd love to see a comparison with the La Mer too. Btw, I have a Burman cat, masses of fur and moulting all year round. I am 44 y/o with combo/oily skin, large pores and obvious texture. I also have a solid skincare routine. For the last idk how many years, my HG foundation has been Estée Lauder Double Wear. Several months ago, I had shingles in my ear canal which then caused Ramsay Hunt Syndrome which is a paralysis in my face. My face is still somewhat paralyzed but due to this, on the other side that’s not paralyzed, I’ve developed some wrinkles around my chin because of how my face now “sits” for a lack of a better word until hopefully everything comes back. I was noticing that my ELDW, was totallllly settling into these wrinkles. It looked so bad. EEDW is a full matte foundation. I had a sample of the Valentino so I decided to use it and see how it wore. OH MY GOODNESS. I was blown away. It’s beautiful on the skin! It didn’t settle into the new wrinkles that I now have. It definitely has a more dewy finish but I used it w the Milk Hydro Grip primer. I’m going to try it today w the Smashbox classic primer. In any case, I loved it. I will be going to Sephora and picking this up. I think it’s going to be new Holy Grail. Definitely get yourself color matched and get a sample to see for yourselves!! It’s gorgeous!!

I love foundations that fade naturally, some clump up or start to pill away, but if a foundation fades more seamlessly that is a food foundation for me since I do end up wearing my foundations for about 10 hours daily

Tara I purchased two of the blushes and I agree the component is just horrible BUT the blush is stunning… The texture is so buttery I just can’t explain it and in my opinion being a blush fanatic it’s worth the splurge even just one to feel the formula

was not even looking at this i thought their packaging was abit gaudy the compact with the chain is just silly and honestly quite lazy on the design perspective like a V on a red base...not much thought there. However good for them for catering to all skintones right out of the gate and taking such meticulous care, the ingredients seem thoughtful and the fragrance is not synthetic and the price point is fair for luxury foundation all that work is worth the price tag . great review! will definitely check this one out

They are both very similar. They both would be beautiful on your skin type. They are both Radiant, long lasting, and great over wrinkles. I would choose based on shades (if you can find a better shade in one or the other) and price. Because truly, they are very similar ❤️😁 I hope that is helpful🙏

They are both very similar. They both would be beautiful on your skin type. They are both Radiant, long lasting, and great over wrinkles. I would choose based on shades (if you can find a better shade in one or the other) and price. Because truly, they are very similar ❤️😁 I hope that is helpful🙏

I’m sorry if I missed it but was primer used aside from the Magic Cream? I own this foundation and have similar skin and I’m just curious what primers have been a good match with this foundation. If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it! I’ve used my Touché Eclat and Detmalogica but I pretty much own every primer lol. Whatever anyone has had success with would be welcomed! Thanks!

I was going based on the price at Sephora & Beautylish which is normally wear i buy it, and at those places it's $135 usd 😁💋 I love the Valentino, definitely so beautiful and can't wait to compare them😁👏 I am curious myself how they compare side by side😁💋
