Demise of Prince Karim Aga Khan is probably the biggest political and non-political news of last week. Was it covered? I didnt hear it. Maybe less air time for the likes of Mohsin Naqvi , Zardari and Ik and more air-time should be given to leadership that actually made a difference in the lives of human beings.

But it would be great to do a side by side comparison of how the aga khan cared for his diaspora through institution building vs our very own Bhutto a who are equally revered by their Sindhi followers and have done next to nothing for that awam. Still roiling in poverty , no education in interior Sindhi and wadera system with no benefits to the masses. Both communities pay “ tith” to their divinely or by “ blood line” leadership. But look at how one has put it to some use and the others are just self serving.
I guess at this point when Palestinians are so desperate and helpless they should opt for this option of settling in rather good communities in neighborhing countries provided to them rather than pointlessly getting butchered in Gaza
