Splitboarding The Skillet on Mount Moran | 50 Classic Ski Descents of North America

The skillet is a 6,000 foot ski run on Mount Moran in the Tetons, and is one of the 50 classic ski descents of North America. Snow conditions ended up being pretty bad this day and my group ended up not making it all the way to the summit. On the way up we passed a ton of avalanche debris from the previous day. We probably could have continued uphill for a little longer, but wouldn't have had time to summit before the sun had warmed up the snow enough to make the downhill less stable. Mount Moran was an amazing experience. I'll definitely be going back sometime to try for the summit.
