Conquer American mountains as you haul incredible tonnage with the workhorses of industry, get the British capital’s commuters to work in record time and race state-to-state aboard German high-speed traction. Play your own way with creative tools. Master the machine with Train Sim World 3.
    RAW POWER
Haul hundreds of containers through California deserts and mountains with the ES44C4, a 4400-horsepower beast dressed in bold BNSF livery. Experience the thrill of 280 km/h in the ICE 1, Germany’s first true high-speed train, as you cut through the Hesse and Bavaria countryside. Combine precision and versatility with the Class 395 ‘Javelin’, Britain’s fastest train running passengers to and from London at 140mph.
    EXTREME WEATHER
New volumetric skies bring a transformed atmosphere to routes, clouds roam free at altitude, casting shadows on the ground. Lightning dances among intense storms, the roar of thunder competing with the hefty sound of machinery. Feel total immersion as the turbulence of wind physics hammers the side of your train. Learn the art of defensive driving and remain in control.

19:13 I can answer your question there.
Shrinkie as I call him was painted into the swallow for EMR correct. However it was with the ECML Franchise since privatisation when the got the overhaul and + 200 it was 43302 when EMR took shrinkie (due to LNER Retiring the HSTs in 2019) it was renumbered back to it's original number and it's not the only HST to do this as 43194 returned to it's original number from 43384 and became an Intercity executive.

The not to be used between tonbridge and battle was due to gauging issues on the line with the tunnels
Also some additional information some class 33s were known as slim Jim’s as they were made slightly narrower to fit through the tunnels

the thing that always gets me seeing an HST in a museum is that the very front edge of the nose is almost up at neck level, and the same for most mainline trains. It's just a sense of scale and an "oh that's big" moment you never get seeing them sweep into a station from standing at platform level

Tonbridge to battle was the Hastings line and the tunnels were skinny and would not fit standard size stock hence the Hastings diesels with flat sides to fit the tunnels

Absolutely love the apt-e, the livery is amazing as well. I prefer it over the apt tbh. 👍
Love the prototype deltic as well

Great video, but you completely ignored the DMU's Network Southeast livery on one side of the unit, my favourite livery.

Its a shame you werent able to get into the Sir Winston Churchill cab. I used to work at that museum and spent many hours giving visitor tours inside there. It used to be at the front close to the entrance and had the baggage van that bore Churchills coffin on the funeral train.

i spent 20yrs restoring the apt-e into the state you see it today. i can asure you its not fake lol also the gas turbine apt-e this one worked fine but the late electric apt-p had some faults due to it having a different tilt mechanisum. if you would like to look around inside and lern abit about it let me know that can be aranged. alot of the electrics have been repaired aswell as the interior and with some additional funds it could be got running under its own power again. i have already freed up one of the turbines and had it turning over but alas NRM red tape and BS are restricting what i can do at min

Sad to see working historic vehicles in a clinical environment I wish a dirty old steam shed with sound effects smells and why not climb up as it’s never going out again a lost kid will never see inside and go back to tic toc

Please,if gou are going to make this type of vidio do a bit of research first. The APT e did not fail, it proved that the idea would work, the APT p was then built to work towards a fully working train even then it was still a prototype so still had some way to go to bcome the finished artical , it's bigest problem was Concord came along at the same time and the country could not fund both allegedly !
