My mother thinks I am lazy because I would like to be a housewife. I don’t mind working. I love to work, but when I think about being a housewife, it brings me more joy than thinking about Pursuing a career.
Same!!! It's come to the point that I no longer mention it and push myself to become a lawyer because my family believes that's an image of a successful woman but I don't think that's the only way a woman can be successful.
That’s really great for me I’m the opposite when I think of not working and being a housewife it scares me. I’m a combination of traditional and modern. I don’t wana work all my life outside I probably want a little business or something I can do online while being with my family.
Your videos have been a breath of fresh air to me. Im 18, graduated in the top of my class, got a full ride to a local college, But I've never desired the "hardcore career woman" lifestyle. I don't like big cities either, I like being around nature, and simplicity. Im on a new spiritual journey. I enjoy the material things, But Im not slaying away 60 hours out of my week for the rest of my life to some CEO that probably doesn't even know I exist- all for a 6 figure salary.
Good for you! There's a lot of evidence now that being around nature and living in smaller towns is good for mental health. You'll be on a path to happiness! 😊
I resonate with you so much (except for the good grades part lmao)!! I'm 18 and tbh I sometimes feel bad for not wanting to become a boss who travels 24/7 and lives in a huge building with a gigantic income...
I'm highly educated (PhD) and would be considered very liberal, AND I really love what you're doing here. The content you share is respectfully, lovingly, and graciously empowering young women and reclaiming all the incredibly necessary gifts that femininity blesses the world with. Society needs more generosity, compassion, and nurturing, and that message is powerful for all of us, so I'm so grateful that you remind young women of the transformative power that is femininity.
acm I agree. I showed some of my sociology students her channel in a week on sex and gender to highlight that they do not have to feel like there is only one way to be a woman in this contemporary society and that if they seek a more traditional life then they should not be ashamed and that they should learn more about it and if they want they should learn more homemaking skills in their spare time. I said Caitlin is a wonderful example. She really got me with the doing a PhD program and not seeking out dates! Guilty. 😂😂😂 - I’m trying to finish up my PhD after (as it seems to some “wasting my time” not producing work) having to take time to care for my mother who was sick with stage four melanoma and who then past away in mid 2017. It’s obviously been hard to get back into writing and finish (especially while teaching). But I am grateful for the time that I was able to have at home with my mother as I wasn’t out working a full time job which would have made it sooo difficult to be a full time carer. So in a weird way doing my PhD has been a blessing - not yet for a career but in that it’s given me a lot of time at home which I now use to also focus on building skills like cooking.
I was met with a lot of negativity from family and friends when I said I wanted to be a homemaker. I was going to college but nothing stuck with me. Nothing ever fulfilled me the way taking care of family and home did. I lost pretty much all my friends (mainly once I became a Christian) but that's okay. My mom used to mock homemaking until she saw everything I did. She, along with most of my family, now has a lot of respect for what I do. Stick with it! 😁
@@a11an72 Once you have the Almighty God and Jesus on your side you will be fine. My grandma used to say, "what a friend I have in Jesus ". She too was a christian and did not have many friends.
Same..When I changed over from my initial major and decided not to go into Public Health Administration but to go into something else and it was met with alot of backlash.
No shade, but what things did you do to impress them? I wish I could be at home, and I'm just asking so I know what can be done to show that it's worthwhile
I have felt small for wanting to be a wife and a mama. My traditional values are often bashed by others. I have had to let go of friends because of it. I have learned to not change myself or who i am for others. I really like your #3 to date compatibly. This is so important to raising a healthy, stable family environment. I Love that women are starting to slowly stand in their feminity and be honest about their dreams. I feel a big change coming in our country. God Bless you sister🙏🏼❤
I’ve had similar situations with friends and family living in a big city where traditional values are normally bashed and growing up in an internet age where online groups routinely go after conservatives and traditionalists. I feel you sister ❤️
Don’t worry, none of you are wrong. The media is. Feminist are more masculine in my opinion and rather vulgar. I always notice people from higher status are usually not feminist. The only reason people promote such nonsense is through the propaganda that is installed into them through the media and societal engineering that has taken places for 3 decades now. I am a traditional man and I live in Europe.(uk). Obviously I’m attracted to European women but my generation of women are not wife material. People nowadays are very selfish and egotistical. Finding a traditional, loyal and feminine women is near impossible in today’s world. Continue with your dream. A lot of guys in their 30s want the stable life.
Greetings from Brazil! I spent almost 6 years with a boyfriend that planted ideas in my mind that having a child was a bad thing, and every time I mentioned marriage he changed the subject. I was young and foolish and I loved him so much I adopted his ideas. 😢 By God's grace I met my current boyfriend who's a traditional man and since then I've been rescuing my femininity, motherhood desires and etcetera. Watching your videos really nurture these good feelings! I love your channel, keep it up! 💜
As a 41yo masculine man, this is very encouraging to watch and know there are still women out there like this. I, because of culture cannot voice this preference for women for extreme badgering and being called 'patriarchal' or 'misogynist'. KEEP GOING young woman and encouraging young women to believe in what is important. I would love to find a traditional wife over today's modern woman. I cant imagine how much hate and shaming you get from feminists. It's quite sad.
a year ago a girl started an instagram called "tradlife_____" and the blank was the province i live in. We met up and have become very close, and met other traditional ladies from that too :) Now i have a group of 21 of us! I recommend using instagram to try to find likeminded women, but be safe when meeting for the first time!
I'll never forget once when I confessed to a friend (upon *her* asking) how I want to be a housewife when I'm older and she said to me "I guess...if you want to take the easy way out." In contrast, my closest female friend made me an apron when I told her. I still own it today. Find people who will support you and love you. ❤
Lately I’ve been feeling more and more unsatisfied with my job. It’s a good job- I’m lucky to have it. But I can’t help but feeling working 40 hours a week could be more happily spent doing something else. Being a home maker. A wife. A mother. Thank you for your videos.
This video is quite timely for me. Two days ago my husband of 19 years was berated by his sister because I have been a homemaker since having our son 14 1/2 years ago. Our son is now in school but I am continuing to homeschool our 12 year old daughter. We are having financial struggles for the first time in our marriage and now 'the world' doesn't understand why I'm not returning to the workforce. With God's blessing and inspiration I have online businesses that are growing and I am, by faith, living out God's calling as He shows us in Proverbs 31 and Titus 2. People who lack faith just don't understand. :( I am not going to go against my core beliefs out of fear. Thanks for this encouraging video and for inspiring the next generation of homemakers!
She actually just uploaded a list of her favorite fictional books on her blog, I would start there! But yes, I’d love if she made a more specific book list geared towards femininity. Captivating is my number one book that I would personally recommend 💛
Femininity is so demonized by contemporary Society, it truly hurts me. Our Women deserve so much more. Although I am a Man, I am incredibly thankful and inspired by this. Greetings from Germany🇩🇪♥️✝️
💕💕 So blessed to know that we have one another. In my daily life most people have very, very different views from me and so I feel isolated, but where I find other traditional women and men is a sort of home for me and I hope we can all provide that for each other 💗
@@elizabethgrey6040 Yes it's the same for me, I'm mostly surrounded by career-women either aspiring or current, and there's nothing wrong with that and I still respect them and value them but it is lonely not having like-minded people in my life. This community really is a haven! I find so much comfort in relating to all of you.
I think homemakers should get a degree first, in the event that something happens to their husbands they have something to fall back on. Once my father passed away my homemaker mother had no backup plan to support us children and really struggled to get by. As homemakers, the best nurturing thing to do is to make sure our children will always have security and be taken care of no matter what. That’s why I don’t completely depend on my husbands income to support me and my kids forever, because anything can happen.
Well IDK how it was abroad but in 1950s France kids learnt at school how to keep the house. Of course girls were taught to cook, wash babies and so whereas boys did Wood work for instance.
The problem is that you waste your most festile years pursuing that degree. Women have a biological clock, and once you reach 25 your fertility will began to decrease significantly. This is the reason women who want to have children, specially those who want many children, should take the risk and get married as soon as possible as to avoid infertility problems and problematic pregnancies. Also, I don't want to insult your father but a good husband will have a backup plan in case something happens to him. My father also died and left my housewife mom to struggle with me and four simblings, but he had a lot of money saved because he was a police officer and we live in Brazil, a country that is extremelly violent. Even if a man lives in a peaceful and safe country he must think as if he is in a war when it comes to secure a future for his family, that's what my father used to say before he died and that's how I live now. Though we literally live at urban war :D
I’m sick of everyone literally everyone in my family telling me to work. It’s now got to the point I hardly talk to them because of it. You’re a light to many Tradwives out there, thank you and keep up the good work!
Hi, just watched for the first time. I'm here in Australia & I have always considered that being a home maker, Mum & wife contains a LOT of joy. I married a most wonderful & intelligent man who I feel equal to but of course not exactly the same as. He cherishes me & I thank God for him every day. Our 4 children are all grateful for their secure, stable & loving childhood.
I have been a housewife and mother for a year, and honestly I love it! Caring for my daughter and husband makes me so happy. My family wasn’t sure about it in the beginning, but they have finally accepted it. I love your channel, and the messages you spread! ❤️
It's easy to "slay all day" when you're a "goddess" on a pedestal. But what you do, takes true bavery. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air, and know that you are a blessing to so many!💗
Becoming a stay at home mother and a traditional wife have saved my marriage and kept my family together. I will never understand how these (jealous) women in the media can see harm in women returning to our roots- especially as we have witnessed feminism FAIL. Fail. Not even a little. What we are doing is taking back our families as priority number 1. We weren't designed to be more than men, in chasing that unrealistic dream we lose sight on what we were designed to do- everything that a man can't. Bless you for this beautiful post bringing such beautiful light to our movement. Much love.
I never enjoyed partying. I kept waiting for that phase to start when I was 16, 18, 21, and now to 28. I kept feeling like I was out of place for not wanting to get drunk, go to raves, but as I've gotten older I realize that I just enjoy other activities.
Your videos help me so much! I have always been a more traditional girl/woman and often found myself uncomfortable in my younger years as a result of trying to push my own boundaries to conform to masculine female culture. Now in my mid twenties I am a stay at home mother and home maker and am over joyed by my life and feel so fulfilled but I still constantly get family and friends asking me and pushing me when I’ll go back to work and that I need to spend time away from my children more often as I rarely do. It is hard to constantly feel like you have to defend your own happiness and choices and your videos give me more confidence in sticking to my beliefs and desires! Thank you.
I'm so grateful this young lady is doing videos promoting conservative or traditional values & lifestyles. IT'S SO VERY NEEDED IN TODAY'S SOCIETY. SHE'S LIKE A TALL DRINK OF WATER IN THESE DRY TIMES. (I'll always believe the older ways will remain the better ways) So i wish all young women would listen to her👍 ALL CHILDREN DESERVE A MOM WHO RAISES THEM F.U.L.L.T.I.M.E.🌸💜🌸
@@princesspoppy6983 I don't have any kids yet, but it's hard to make new friends because most people my age (20) are so focused on other things like partying and such. I just want some nice feminine friends that care about creating and self improvement over partying and keeping up w the Kardashians
@@princesspoppy6983 and also my boyfriend, who is definitely the man I'm going to marry, is the only person who I feel I can talk to about my traditional ideas out of all the people already in my life, which I why I feel I need new connections
Everything you said and explained makes me feel so normal! it’s hard to remind yourself what you want when you aren’t surrounded by people who understand your values & i’m really glad to see other people who feel the same way. Always love hearing your advice
I am a proud housewife and homebody person 😊 💑🏠and even though I'm totally ok with that I know I'm judged all the time for having chosen this life. As you said it's fine to be just a wife and mom and home keeper since you're happy with that and you shouldn't ever feel less than anybody because of that. I already feel like a fish out of water in this world so it doesn't matter to me what most of the people think just because I am not at all like them anyway. Keep up the good work sister! May GOD bless and keep ya 🙏
yes pretty heart. I wish the fememine RUclips community could start a friend finder that we can find out, who lives close to each other and get to know each other.
Your words feel like drawing air after an eternity of holding breath. I seek a woman who puts family before herself, since I am a man who puts family before himself. THANK YOU, for voicing sanity.
Night clubs are just full of temptation for sin. Not only is bad behaviour acceptable, its encouraged. Its so hard to keep your morals and values in this environment, especially when your intoxicated. Men will look at you like an object, some even touch and grab you as if you're their property. This is why I no longer go.
Yeah I had to go pick up my friend once because she couldn't drive and managed to call me for help and man oh man it was the 1st time I entered a club to get her out of there and I was scared Lolololol i felt gross walking in there. Too much of everything.
As a man your tips are awesome and can benefit both men and women. Love your points about cooking and cleaning, I love a clean home and do not expect my wife to pickup after me, I try as much as possible to make the house sparkle and do other things such as laundry. My attitude is that I do whatever needs doing according to my time and energy. Thanks for this.
Thank you for making me feel SANE for wanting and being a homemaker! I’ve always dreamed of being a stay at home mommy and homemaker... it’s amazing to know I’m not alone!!!!!!! And thank you for all of your videos...your tips are awesome! ♥️
I love your channel and look forward to new video posts! In college I fell into the feminist trap and even minored in gender studies 🤦♀️At age 36 (now married with children) I can say there is strength in our traditional femininity and motherhood, no matter how our society shuns it.
That has happened to me, too. I didn't Minor in women's studies but I did take a lot of classes for it. I enjoyed them, I feel like they opened my eyes to a lot of realities both historical and current :) I admit I fell into the extreme end of feminism via college because everyone around me were doing it too, we were all kids who were discovering feminism as a counter-culture (I'm from a small town, so feminism was initially refreshing and liberating when I got to college). I'm in graduate school now, and I think the version of feminism that I see on college campuses is tiring and sometimes radical. People seemed to have forgotten that feminism means equality between sexes, not misandry. :/
Greetings Gorgeous Feminine Women, such sound knowledge here for those with an ear to hear. Thank you dear one for your passion in promoting and sharing Femininity. As a slightly more seasoned, ripe Goddess in her early 40s with many traditional values and boldly living the life, the one thing I would love to offer here is to find resonant, older Ultra Feminine Women(yes they exist!) to sit at the feet at, figuratively and literally, if possible, to learn to be teachable and soak up some deep transformative, feminine mysteries and wisdom you will not find from any other age group. Much love Ladies ❤️
You said everything I've been feeling about being pressured and disapproved of by family, peers and society for being traditional. It's like you read my mind! I appreciate these videos so much and for giving our community a voice.
I love how happy you looked and how much you smiled when you talked about cleaning and cooking! It really shows how much you enjoy it and how genuinely you love being a homemaker! Small things like these are so nice to see and make your videos so special and from the heart! I send you lots of love and have a beautiful day!💛
I listened to this a few months ago, and I'm not sure if it stuck with me, but I have re-evaluated. my life and realized I love the simplicity and creating and beautifying my environment. And when I beautify my environment, I have made my friendships/relationships stronger. I'm also questioning if the boss babe lifestyle is really what I want or what other people want for me. I am so thankful for this channel, and that it has allowed me to take a step back.
You have helped influence me to control my emotions and be more nurturing 🤍💗 I adore your video/anecdotes about your mother! Quite keen. God is so very good to us! 🙏🏻
Luv, you are so right about how many of our issues in the west come from broken families. I wish people would open up to traditional ideas. We are the creators of the next generations to come and we need more people to emphasize the importance of a stable family. Love your videos, You’ve got a new sub ☺️💗
I personally do want to work. I want to be a nurse practitioner. However, I love your channel. You are so positive and sweet. Also, your channel is awesome!
Amen! I feel like my whole life I have had expectations from parents and society to be a career woman. It's important to make sure your children have passions and education but I was rarely talked to about the possibility of being a homemaker or mother growing up. I feel like this is true for a lot of women in my generation and the result is creating more masculine women, feminine men and a whole lot of confusion. It gives me so much freedom and peace knowing that it's okay to trust my nurturing feminine side even if it means not following 1 specific career or path in life. I have so many!
I once told my friend that I wanna be a housewife when I become a Mother or even before. And she was like: "oh my god, you are doing this school and you want to be a housewife?" But most of the time I'm pretty chill when it comes to those kind of conversations. I know it's right for me and I think, everybody should know your channel
Absolutely honest and informative video. It is a very important topic and I love the way you talk about this. ❤️😊 Ps: can you maybe do a video about self care. 💕
And I also have to say that you talked about one thing that really touched my heart. You taked about when a mother complaines about her body her daughter will do that to. Since I can remember my mother always had a struggle with food. She was dieting all the time. So when I was only 12 years old I strarted to do the same thing. Now I am really working on my self so I can make it better for my children. Thank you so much for helping me with that ❤️
My mum hates her knees. I don't know why, they just look like normal knees to me. My sister is 21 and over the past few years I've heard her saying she hates her knees! There's truth in it. We learn from our mothers.
I can’t wait to be a wife one day and have a beautiful child 💕 I also want to be a nail technician or a wedding dress maker with my own boutique. One of my dreams is to makes beautiful wedding dress for my daughter ( if I have one ) 😩
I love this video!!! I am from Windsor, Ontario and I have been very honest for years about my goals towards homemaking and motherhood and being a wife. I am surrounded by a very supportive family and my fiance loves how home-focused I am!! But sometimes I feel like strangers shame me for my response when they ask me what my career goals are. I immensely appreciate your message in this video!!! Thanks, girl!
PS I am currently making my very first homemade bread recipe, and I am following your recipe for Amish bread!!!!! I thought I'd check RUclips while it is baking. I can't even explain how peaceful and rewarding the bread-making process has been, and I LOVE how the ingredients in your recipe are simple and healthy.
You are right about compatibility. It’s hard to find a guy who can support a housewife. Where I am from women have to work to afford having a family. I think it depends where you live and the cost of living.
I think this is very true. But at the same time I think there are some people who think they can't afford to live on one income because their standard of living is so high. We're not going on many vacations on one income, or eating at restaurants or buying things we don't need. We have less money than the average couple. The question is whether or not it's worth it, which is a personal choice.
Kay Oss We live on one income comfortably just the two of us in an expensive city, but we can’t afford a house or to have kids unless I work. For my husband it’s a non negotiable that I work if I want kids. We also don’t live frugal it’s non negotiable bc we like the finer things in life.
@@MelissaMisinco I know quite some man how can afford having a wife. I myself 27 earning multiple 100k and still growing can do it with ease. The problem for man isn’t the money. As woman I would not look for an man how already is at the point where he makes my salary or more. I would look for an man with drive and goals. Supporting him and building him can make you very wealthy as a woman. Also man how found purpose in there partner and how found a woman how deeply loves them can go to insane lines when it comes to work. It’s a primal instinct of man to want to provide. It’s like a need and a desire for an man. If you give him a lot of love support and show him it’s worth it I’m sure picking an man with drive how is at the start is the best decision you can make.
@@MelissaMisinco I myself turned from an anime and gaming nerd with 0 social interactions to an absolute shark in work over the time of 1 year. Befor I earned 40k and I didn’t care. Now I am earning more in an month than before in an year. I made an 180 run because I found purpose in someone and this did awaken the drive every man got somewhere deep inside 🤷♂️
Oh my goodness...I wish I had known you back in high school. Or someone like you. I’m quite older than you are. You might’ve been around 12 when I was 17. And 8 when I started high school lol. But it doesn’t matter, it would’ve been wonderful to have someone like you in my life during those times because I remember feeling guilty back then for being feminine. Every woman in school was quite masculine and laughed at the idea of being a house wife. I feel I would’ve been a lot happier had I been true to myself and what I wanted. Oh well, it’s not too late now
Thank you again for this video, I have spent 5 years in a masculine job ( I am the only woman on a my shift 😖) I did this only to help my husband and I get ahead in life but my dream has always been to be a mother and wife. Well I am happy to say I am quitting my job to fulfill my dream, long over do! I am finishing my teaching degree so I can have that security blanket. Your videos are wonderful a breath of fresh air💗
I honestly came here because I heard bad things about your videos, but I really appreciate how respectful and kind you are. You give really practical and realistic advice. It's great how you respect everyone's life choices and give advice to those who are looking for a specific lifestyle. And I love what you said about working on yourself, instead of controlling others. Your perspective is needed in our society. I have no idea what some were complaining about. Don't let people's criticism get you down :)
GET MARKETABLE SKILLS!!! That is very, very important. I didn't before I became a stay-at-home mom, and I now regret it. Husbands can divorce you, leave you a widow, or become disabled. My husband now faces ageism and being 60, it's hard for him to compete for jobs with younger men. I now work in assisted living, making little money, and we struggle financially. BTW, there's nothing wrong with "masculine careers." Nursing used to be a "masculine career."
i just want to feel a sense of importance and housewifery seems perfect for that goal! caring for children, a husband/wife, and homemaking sound so fulfilling. i'm also excited to pursue a career path in psychology which will also have a similar fulfillment as a mom. i'm excited!
Most of the reason why I want to go off the grid, is to get a brake from this horrible negative society. I count it all joy to be a rebel. This world is only going to get worse. Thank you for your ministry! Our sister's need you.
I needed this so bad. I just left my career to be a stay at home wife...trying to conceive and I needed the stress of working off of me. However, I feel so incredibly guilty for not working. Even though my husband wants me home and is so much happier when I am. I feel like none of my peers understand.
Don't feel guilty. Feel grateful. It's such a privilege when you can afford to live on a single income. Express your gratitude for this opportunity by making the absolute most of it. Cook better food than you could when you were working. Learn a new skill. Enjoy your life. Not having to work can be wonderful when you really embrace the time you have 😊❤ good luck trying to conceive, I'm trying for my first too.
The opening had me weepy when you said you don’t have to get a masculine career and that even with being feminine “you are not a failure”. I have never heard that about my dreams. Every time I bring up quitting work after I have kids and becoming a homemaker I get dirty looks or I am told that it is impossible. My own parents have shot down this thought and I just want to know that I am not a failure. I am the youngest of 6 and all of the others work high profile jobs in law enforcement and the military. But here I am just wanting to be a Stay at Home mom. It feels good to have someone say that I am not a failure for wanting this.
I remember a guy laughing at me for being a virgin but what shocked me was the fact that even if he considered himself a Christian, he actually was living a promiscuous life.
@@Soneelicious I just mean that people laugh because they say you will never get married because no one else will wait, but on your wedding day no one can say that.
Hello, Mrs. Midwest! You give such refreshing advice. I’m 18 and I do consider myself a very traditional young woman. I long for marriage to my boyfriend who takes care of me spoils me endlessly, and I want kids in the future, but I found myself also having many dreams and aspirations as well. I want to become a doctor in dermatology and have my own beauty and skin care company. I don’t find that masculine, I find that beautiful to be able to do both and I’ve seen many women who have done both ( my mother) though it is not easy. My question is, do you agree a woman can be both homemaker and a career aspired woman?
You're amazing 💫I was honest with a young man I've been getting to know for a few years about my desire for a traditional, balanced feminine life and he completely understands my calling towards motherhood and homemaking above being a "Career-Driven Feminist Girl Boss." I'm so glad I felt empowered to take control of my future, and your videos and blog helped me get there.
God bless you :) I came to the traditionalist movement a couple years ago, and quit manly my corporate consulting job this month as I'm preparing fully for marriage to the most amazing man ever. No regrets.
Do you have a video on skills to attain as a homemaker? One thing I struggle with is feeling like I don’t have any skills but not really knowing what to work on. I want to be a helpmate and I wish I had a side hustle or valuable skill to share.
You can help people shop or pick their outfits, do hair, write/edit, bake, make arts/crafts/handmade things and sell on Etsy, be a customer service agent over the phone, *bonus- if you're a great cook, I know a company that you can prepare a meal for the day or evening and people will pay for a ticket to attend. You set the ticket price & you can do it as often or as little as you like. Hope this helps! 😊
I’m Muslim and I love this. In Islam women are encouraged to be housewives but we also have the choice to work if we want. Men are the breadwinners but he is also encouraged to do housework and help his wife at home like our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did ❤️
Even though we are socially and ideologically on opposite side of the spectrum, I really appreciate that you promote your views without criticising other beliefs and lifestyles. I wish your standards for communication were more prevalent with all content creators in general.
I love your videos so much, I get excited to watch them, im still learning to become more feminine, but it makes me happy, and I finally know what I am doing with my life :)
I actually met my husband in a club. I don’t regret anything, he’s a wonderful guy who provides everything for me. I was in the Christian scene for many years and not one guy showed any interest in commitment. They were shallow and only interested in the typical pretty girls. Not everything comes in a package with a bow on it. I wouldn’t put such strong rules on how to meet a good guy. Life is more unconventional than you might think, this coming from someone a good bit older than yourself.
Christianity is not a scene. It is a lifestyle and commitment. It's about living above yourself. I'm sorry that you didn't find what you were looking for in that time of your life, but this is not how majority of Christian men think or how they are. Yes, they seem more "picky" or "confined" to thier choices but for good reason. I met my husband online and I don't deny that God Can bring you someone from anywhere and make it work, but more times than the other it isn't the best way to meet a spouse who has a more traditional mind set in certain settings.
I think it is misleading to equate being 'traditional' or wanting to be a homemaker (which is totally fine and a personal choice to respect) with femininity. You can be career-driven and still possess many qualities which are considered to be feminine. Also, there's not only black and white, but things in-between. Many women work but still provide a loving and comfortable environment for their families. And on the flip side: labelling powerful careers and positions as 'masculine' is how we as women remain passive, suppressed and perceived as less worthy than men. Maybe sticking to the term 'traditional' or 'tradition-loving' will fit better in the future than the term 'feminine'.
Love the tip about honesty! I realized that after graduating high school I thought I wanted to go to college and get a career but I struggled so much in college because I wasn’t happy. I’m not driven toward any career because it’s not in my nature. I long for marriage (not necessarily children though) and to cater to my husband.
Your videos really resonate with me, especially this one. I went to law school, but just kind of skated by. In hindsight, I think I only went to make my parents happy. They were very hard on my siblings and I in getting high level career and making lots of money, but I hated law school every year I was there. I’ve graduated (haven’t passed the bar though) and got a good job where I am comfortable, but my dad keeps nudging to take the bar exam again to get that high level job, and I’m just not motivated to do it! I don’t know how to tell him that at this point in my life I’m thinking about marriage and starting a family, and I almost dread talking to him on the phone in case he may bring it up again. Anyway, this video is encouraging to me to finally do things that make me happy, and to be honest with myself about who I am and what I want. I left my last relationship in pursuit of this too. I’m very happy with my life now as a single woman, but I just know the type of happiness I would feel as a married woman with kids would be THAT much more amazing 😁😁😁
I think I speak on behalf of all Men when I say that our wish for 2022 is to develop a special wand where we can wave it across this nation and clone you and ALL the other women who think like you, to the 10th power. Most of us still want this! We have not changed in this desire. It's so refreshing to see a Traditonal woman (and women) speak out unapologetically and not be shamed.
You and I could not be more different (apart from the fact that we both live in Michigan), but I find so much value in your videos and I always take away a thought or suggestion that benefits me and my life. I'm a single mom and a career-driven lady, and I often find it challenging to balance both sides of myself. As you mention, the career-driven side of myself gets a lot of societal support as feminist trends currently lean that way. But the motherly, home-making side of myself gets a little less of that encouragement, which is why I find your content so inspiring. Both sides of myself are equally important to me, and achieving a harmonious balance can be difficult, but is very rewarding. Thanks for adding your voice to the feminist dialogue!
My mother thinks I am lazy because I would like to be a housewife. I don’t mind working. I love to work, but when I think about being a housewife, it brings me more joy than thinking about Pursuing a career.
Same!!! It's come to the point that I no longer mention it and push myself to become a lawyer because my family believes that's an image of a successful woman but I don't think that's the only way a woman can be successful.
you go girl then! no one should be telling anyone what to do if you like being traditional then aye! :D
That’s really great for me I’m the opposite when I think of not working and being a housewife it scares me. I’m a combination of traditional and modern. I don’t wana work all my life outside I probably want a little business or something I can do online while being with my family.
@@Soneelicious businesses take a lot of work and sometimes can become masculine owning one.
Live your life how you want to!
Hello sis. I also recommend Namaste Moore for learning how to cultivate femininity. She and her husband have a youtube channel as well
Same situation except, while "top" in my class I didn't have good grades lol.

Guilty. 😂😂😂
- I’m trying to finish up my PhD after (as it seems to some “wasting my time” not producing work) having to take time to care for my mother who was sick with stage four melanoma and who then past away in mid 2017.
Being a SAHM or housewife does not equal not liberal or not educated lol
@@Sonia-lt9qg Some very aggressive SAHM bloggers would say otherwise lol
@@Sonia-lt9qg No, but traditional gender roles ARE considered a more typically conservative value.
Valuing family and desiring clear traditional roles can be for anyone ☺️
I was met with a lot of negativity from family and friends when I said I wanted to be a homemaker. I was going to college but nothing stuck with me. Nothing ever fulfilled me the way taking care of family and home did. I lost pretty much all my friends (mainly once I became a Christian) but that's okay. My mom used to mock homemaking until she saw everything I did. She, along with most of my family, now has a lot of respect for what I do. Stick with it! 😁
Homemaking is harder then doing two full time jobs. Thanks for your hard work.

I’m literally addicted to ur channel 😭❤️you’re the reason why I don’t feel guilty for being feminine and wanting to value marriage over career.
I agree!!! ♥️♥️♥️ Love her and the community!
You leave you're career and she still making money online. Smart. 😂
Oh my goodness! I’m watching this a year later. Everything changed after covid!
Aw I'm so happy you discovered that!
Same thing happened to me. At least it wasn't almost 8 years :/. Happy that you found a traditional man, don't let him go! lol . :D
I wish the fememine RUclips community could start a friend finder that we can find out, who lives close to each other and get to know each other.
a year ago a girl started an instagram called "tradlife_____" and the blank was the province i live in. We met up and have become very close, and met other traditional ladies from that too :) Now i have a group of 21 of us! I'll never forget once when I confessed to a friend (upon *her* asking) how I want to be a housewife when I'm older and she said to me "I guess...if you want to take the easy way out."
In contrast, my closest female friend made me an apron when I told her.

Fascinating Womanhood by Helen Andelin, it's a great read!

Very good advice. I have a lot more fulfillment in being a homemaker but I know that if something happened, I have marketable skills to fall back on.
Well IDK how it was abroad but in 1950s France kids learnt at school how to keep the house. Of course girls were taught to cook, wash babies and so whereas boys did Wood work for instance.
Agree.
Exactly we need to proper ourselves first
The problem is that you waste your most festile years pursuing that degree.

I have literally nothing in common. I'm an Indian and I'm a surgeon. But something about you is so refreshing! I adore your spirit. It makes me smile!
Thank you.

I enjoyed them, I feel like they opened my eyes to a lot of realities both historical and current :)
I admit I fell into the extreme end of feminism via college because everyone around me were doing it too, we were all kids who were discovering feminism as a counter-culture (I'm from a small town, so feminism was initially refreshing and liberating when I got to college). I'm in graduate school now, and I think the version of feminism that I see on college campuses is tiring and sometimes radical. People seemed to have forgotten that feminism means equality between sexes, not misandry. :/
Adrian Columbia wow!! That’s good that u eventually got out of that. What made u change ur mind? Like how did ur mindset start to change?

I wish I had friends like the Mrs Midwest and the girls in the comment section. It is nurturing to see so many women sharing tips about femininity 💕
This was my favorite video of yours yet! I loved all your practical tips. You are so sweet and joy radiates from you!
i just want to feel a sense of importance and housewifery seems perfect for that goal! caring for children, a husband/wife, and homemaking sound so fulfilling. i'm also excited to pursue a career path in psychology which will also have a similar fulfillment as a mom. i'm excited!
I understand. I have had my own sister laugh at me, but stay the course because no one will stand there laughing at you on your wedding day.
@@Howdy2024 people who are not virgins still get married so..?
@@Soneelicious I just mean that people laugh because they say you will never get married because no one else will wait, but on your wedding day no one can say that.
@@Howdy2024 oh my bad 😭😭sorry about that hun
He was trying to trick you into bed, good to hear you didnt fall for it.
Hello, Mrs. My question is, do you agree a woman can be both
homemaker and a career aspired woman?
You're amazing 💫I was honest with a young man I've been getting to know for a few years about my desire for a traditional, balanced feminine life and he completely understands my calling towards motherhood and homemaking above being a "Career-Driven Feminist Girl Boss." I'm so glad I felt empowered to take control of my future, and your videos and blog helped me get there.
God bless you :) I came to the traditionalist movement a couple years ago, and quit manly my corporate consulting job this month as I'm preparing fully for marriage to the most amazing man ever. No regrets.
Your husband should be proud of you Mrs. Unique.
I just wish you all the blessing in this world.Thank u so much for existing .
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what your doing in teaching to young girls. Ciao from Italy
Cooking. Cleaning. Child care. Organizing. Decorating. Makeup. Singing. Art. Sewing/knitting/crocheting. Canning. Gardening.
So refreshing to see a young person with traditional old fashion conservative values
I’m so happy this channel exists! I’d like more tutorials on how to carry yourself in a feminine manner.
Love ur videos! But lawyer or doctor are not masculine career, they are just career for every person who are passionate in them.
I’m Muslim and I love this. In Islam women are encouraged to be housewives but we also have the choice to work if we want. Men are the breadwinners but he is also encouraged to do housework and help his wife at home like our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did ❤️
Lets not talk about that. Islam is the most regressive religion out there. Women get stones, flagged and what not.
You are so amazing!! Thank you for creating this amazing community of likeminded women
We do need more stable families 💗
Love the tip about honesty! I realized that after graduating high school I thought I wanted to go to college and get a career but I struggled so much in college because I wasn’t happy. I’m not driven toward any career because it’s not in my nature. I long for marriage (not necessarily children though) and to cater to my husband.
Your videos are transforming me sis! Thanks for uploading these
I love you so much! I feel like you made this video just for me 😂❤️
I love what you are doing! Thank you so much for empowering feminine women. ♥️💕🌸
I’m not a woman, I don’t know how I got here, but you’re content is great and very respectful. Great work
I think I speak on behalf of all Men when I say that our wish for 2022 is to develop a special wand where we can wave it across this nation and clone you and ALL the other women who think like you, to the 10th power.
