Renato viega always has David luiz type mentality. Not in game play but that grit and go for it style. Love it

I think in game play too, they’re pretty similar, the same mentality, the fact that they’re both really technical, very great passers of the ball and he could make one or two bad choices in 90 minutes. That’s classic David Luiz, but Veiga is still 20-21? He’s got loads of potential to unlock and I also think he is going to deputize that lb position for a long time.

7:20 It didn’t collapse in the second season under Lampard. We were in a title race until December, we spent a good portion of that season top of the league. Then a few bad results, several massive injuries and everything went bad. And even then it was not as bad. Don’t get me wrong, I am glad we got TT, but the disrespect to Lampard as Chelsea manager is crazy

Football has obviously changed.
In a time now when teams are conceding 2-3 goals every week, to concede just 15 in a whole entire season is just MENTAL. It blows my mind every time I see that record 💙
He is creating a good team camaraderie compared with the dressing room atmospheres from our few previous managers.
The best managers are the clearest communicators. I think he is the best in the league for that. Just look at his press conferences.
Good leadership is doing what is right, not what is popular. Glad we have good leadership at the club.
The next 5 games will tell if our younes is back or not. I appreciate you recognizing that if enzo gets this squad going that credit needs to go to the owners. I know we havent agreed in recent times cause i feel you and many other creators have been overly harsh and impatient but its really a breath if fresh air to see the porject finally play out and you guys beginning to see the bigger picture come together.
Fuck, what I would do to have that 04/05 team right now!! That team was just absolutely ridiculous!! Just goes to show how far the talent levels have dropped and the small amount of top quality players out there, back when madrid wasn't the only team winning the CL, crazy to think madrid had a massive drout in the CL and didn't win it for 10 plus years, now they win it almost every year because they only have to beat city and if they do that there isn't anyone else to beat them, back in the mid 2000's any team could win it, you had man u, chelsea, liverpool, plus you had ac Milan, inter Milan, juventus, bayern , dortmund, all these teams were stacked!! I miss thise days, we need better talent coming through and more of it, and stop giving kids 80 million dollar contracts, it's disgusting!! It's ruining the game
Chelsea Fans incl. Pre Season and City Game(s): Stubborn onedimensional Manager from the Championship. Who cant adept his playstyle. Its worrying so far.
Chelsea Fans after Match Day 7: Mareesca is not just a Headcoach. He is our GAFFER! What a Coach! Player and Ingame Management superb. Players like him. Training seems to be great as well. He´s the next best thing after sliced bread!
Our Fan Base is just weird as always. When Noni scored his Hattrick Chelsea Fans loved and hyped him. 3 Games later people start asking if Noni is too selfish.🙃Like for real? Are you mad? Did you watched the Games? Both Wingers Jadon and Noni doing a lot of tracking back and defensiv work. They press and closing passing paths for the opponent. They are required to be more then the creativ outlet and a goal threat on the wings. Maresca Ball requires a realy high workrate. And that includes all attackers.
Generally that is the attitude of fans and it sickens me. But I've come to discover that it's mostly British/European fans who are really like this.
They are always having stupid, annoying opinion and expectations after every game - for the good and bad.
Younes here too encourages that behaviour to an extent with his lack of foresight when making a reaction
The thing is the fans want to be proved wrong not right they had and opinion but in football things can change plus they was going by what leciester fans and what happened there.
Don't forget he has to utilize much players that come before him, so he must adapt, create, and make solutions for that huge things when at the same time he must be has his own idea about how he want to play
So, applause and respect for what he did so far, long way must be continued, up the chels

The whole beginning of this season is weird man…like Wolves are on 1point they’re a crazy good side they just faced all the big boys first up no way they’re getting relegated…we’re in our first phase of meresca ball and theirs whispers of a title charge like what? And Newcastle is a sleeping giant they’re about to cook the league they got most of their main guys back season is gonna be decided when the Christmas games start I think.

To be fair, Poch doesn't have the bench like what's Maresca had this season. Last season the team was full of injuries, but everything recovered near at the end of the season. Yet shout out to Maresca's decision on substitution and great timing which Poch can't make it, also sometimes clueless. Still credit to Poch given trust to players like Palmer, Jackson, Caicedo, Cucurella, Gusto. Part of the reason Poch gone, cause of Gallagher, Chalobah needs to be sold, I guess. And thanks Maresca to bring the players to even further, also changed the team play. Both deserved credit.

We aren't going to be in the title race next season though like u said no championship manager has ever done that if we finish top 4 this season I will want us to close the gap to the top clubs not a title race after top 4

My issue with Maresca is the fact that he is sticking with Nico Jackson! He's simply not at Chelsea level and will never be. He is already costing us points so why can't he see that this guy is indecisive and slow at crucial moments? I'd say get rid of Nico asap rather than extending his contract!

I thought poch did well considering all the injuries it was ridiculous but when players were coming back you seen the difference i prefer poch at the moment we've not had many injuries this season and signed more players and already dropped 7 points shouldn't be drawing against forest Palace
