    I wish this video explained why certain places are better for entrances, exits, romance, violence, etc.

      We tend to use the logic that modern languages (English and others) read from left to right. The idea is the audience will most likely focus stage-right (audience's left). The sneaky entrances are to the audience's right (SL) where they are less likely to focus. Satire/Farce rely heavily on making grand entrances so having they tend to use center and stage right areas as those are the stronger areas of the stage.
