- We're trying some DIY Wall Art! I'm trying a freehand Painted Wall Mural as an Accent Wall instead of using Peel & Stick Wallpaper because I wanted to try something new and keep this a low budget DIY! These wall squiggles have gone viral on TikTok with the rise of Dopamine Decor, so I wanted to paint one inspired by Disney Roller Coasters. I love these new Bedroom Makeover Ideas and I hope they inspire you to do something fun in your room!

I had to use that little detail brush to get clean lines, but once I figured that out it became a lot easier.

Looks so fun! If you want to go full 70’s, you could paint on some “flower power” or add flower decals. Or even polka dots.

I've hand painted two murals in our home, one in what we call the school room where my kids do their online classes and one in their playroom. I did the same thing, I chose satin because my walls are eggshell. I did that because I wanted it to look like a decal and it definitely did the trick! It all happened because I had ordered a decal from Amazon and the colors they pictured were not at all like what I received so I decided to paint it myself and I don't think I'll go back to decals now. You did a great job it looks good!

Sawyer is going to love her new room! I have done some murals free hand and used those disposable foam brushes. They come in every size, the paint goes on smooth, and no clean up, (the worst part of painting). Can’t wait to see the final product!
