In an interview chithra told that voice testing and audio testing was not done here due to heavy rain in the open stage. This was first performance in this stage. She did this performance with fear what sound comes as output. She sang well but what came out through speaker is not perfect.

I have attended LATA MANGESHKAR JI live concert a few times and know how beautiful and soothing is LATA JI VOICE. if you are saying that CHITRA sounds just like LATA JII then I totally don't agree at all. CHITRA has got a nice voice of her own but sorry to say that she does not sound like LATA JI. The difference is I am ia musician and in music line. So I can clearly tell the difference in LATA JI AND CHITRA JI voice.

I have attended LATA MANGESHKAR JI live concert a few times and know how beautiful and soothing is LATA JI VOICE. if you are saying that CHITRA sounds just like LATA JII then I totally don't agree at all. CHITRA has got a nice voice of her own but sorry to say that she does not sound like LATA JI. The difference is I am ia musician and in music line. So I can clearly tell the difference in LATA JI AND CHITRA JI voice.

One more difference is the distance between mike & mouth. Lataji used to be at a distance from mike. Now singers almost kiss the mike so that they don't have to take much strain.
Lataji (& Asha ji) always sing with open mouth as they are perfect in everything including pronunciation & emotions of the song.
With due respect to other artists, no one can even come closer to these two sisters.
And in male singers, no one can match Kishore da & Rafi ji.
