Just received mine yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the money. Never owned a chrono before but find it very useful. The only thing I would change would be drilled lugs other than that it's amazing timepiece.
Baltany is doing a great job, historically respectful with elements of originality. I expect they keep doing smaller cases and that they use this excellent movement mote often as well.
I actually ordered it this morning. A store I buy quite a few watches from uploaded a $30 coupon for it by mistake, and it only cost me $113! I'd post a link in here, but they fixed it already fixed it. Great review as always brother! 🍻
Nice. Have they said they will honour that price then? As I've heard of some stores doing stuff like this by accident and then cancelling the orders with that wrong price. Thanks mate 👍
Came to your review from your comment on the “goat’s” channel ;) wish they lumed the chrono hand as well like the earlier version. Great review, and neat way to wear the NATO. thanks!!
Thanks for coming over. I'm glad you liked the review. On the rare occasions when I do actually wear watches on a NATO strap, this is my preferred method.
just found this (wasn't even searching) and have just bought one of these (its yet to arrive). Firstly I want to say I really like your review style. Very down to earth and not full of KingWang like so many others. I have a couple of the watches you have reviewed and found your commentary in agreement with my own experience. So since you ask: Crystals: I'm really a fan of the dome crystal shape not the top hat style. If it was not for the gentle dome we see on this watch I'd say "give me flat" ... I just find that the top hat reduces the visible area of the watch and I don't get off on what I see as archaic distortions Straps: NATO seems like a stupid idea which didn't exist last time I was buying a watch (so 20 years ago) and I was surprised that this thing that soldiers don't like is somehow "cool". I instead cut the useless flap off and make the strap just a simple single strap. Mostly I wear a leather one. This watch: I was really attracted to it because it has a 3 dial chrono that actually makes use of the three dials. I do wish that the minute counter was 30 minutes, as that would be much easier to read ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The size seems ideal and I'm keen to get mine. Thanks for your review
Thanks. I'm glad you like the down-to-earth, no-nonsense style of my videos. I think it's one of those love-it-or-hate-it things really. Some people appreciate it, whereas others find it "boring".
This is an amazing watch! Baltany are mostly good at what they're doing. I cannot answer the question whether I prefer flat or domed crystals, it simply depends on the style of watch. The curved one on this watch is perfect, essentially as it's well known to be really a good one!
This is a great looking watch! The dial is awesome and lume is well done. Baltany continue to surprise and improve with their releases. Nato straps are a favorite of mine. Cheers!
It's on my wrist now for the last 8 weeks. The accuracy is just ridiculous.... about one (1) second per month...... Been (skin) diving with it a couple of days, no problem whatsoever. I sold my Fortis flieger chrono because service was coming up and would cost me the value of said watch. This one is lighter, stronger, more accurate and wears like a dream, and 1/10 of the price of the Fortis.
It’s a lovely looking watch and the dial just the maximum they could get away with. I thin a no-date would be better. Definitely got a bit of the Flieger about it, almost a Flieger/Field watch hybrid. Not even got to then of the video yet.
Nice review, I do like the way Baltany have used movements without the pointless 24 hour sub-dial. I would still prefer the symmetry of the type A two sub-dial version. I hate NATOs they lift the watch too much and all that ugly strap folded back is horrible. I prefer the way you wear them, but I would cut the extra part off.
Are you saying that it doesn't come off because it's not coated? I bought a berny titanim watch a while ago. But the black coating was scratched too easily

I'm glad you're happy with yours. Yeah drilled lugs are always nice to have.

Absolutely. I've not had a bad Baltany since I discovered them a couple of years ago now.

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I'll let you know! It's a big store, and I've bought 5 watches through them, so I hope so!

Yeah I've never had a bad Baltany, since I discovered them a few years ago now.
this looks great, I would rather have the type A style though hour markers instead of min markers.
Are you looking to get the Type A during the upcoming sale then?
This is a great looking watch! The dial is awesome and lume is well done. Baltany continue to surprise and improve with their releases.
Nato straps are a favorite of mine.
Cheers!
The lume profile is really cool isn't it? There's so much for a fully printed dial.

Baltany are kicking the ball out of the park. Very close to what the RAF might have used. Love NATO straps. Great looking watch.
Yeah they never disappoint.

That's really impressive accuracy. Especially for the price. You certainly get a lot of watch for not a lot of money don't you?
Hey brother sorry for the late reply but where did you get that sweet looking nato? I just ordered my Baltany yesterday.
It’s a lovely looking watch and the dial just the maximum they could get away with. I thin a no-date would be better. Definitely got a bit of the Flieger about it, almost a Flieger/Field watch hybrid.

Yeah it is somewhat of a hybrid, you're right.

Cheers mate. I'm not really a NATO strap fan either. For the reasons you mentioned.
Perfect watch
Do you have one then?
Wouldn't the bead blast finish come off easily?
No, it's not a coating.
Are you saying that it doesn't come off because it's not coated? I bought a berny titanim watch a while ago. But the black coating was scratched too easily
@@andypark8105 Yeah bead blasting isn't a coating, so it doesn't come off.

very nice watch
Baltany never disappoints.
