Thanks for the updated tour! Some decent prices now, but most are still 2021-2022 prices. Heading there and to Rocket in June, but I’m mostly stashed up and good to go for next 2 seasons so only grabbing a few items. Hopefully prices come back down before 2025-2026. 😂
lol.. man I hope so. But I know the industry is already talking about '25 being on a Friday and '26 being the 250th anniversary of the good ol USA. They are licking their chops for big sales! Don't if that means he'll price to sell or if he'll hold out hope until then that he can sell at these prices
There hasn't been much product turnover or price change over the last couple years. I'm heading back in early June and if there's anything else people want to see I can film it then. But that will probably be my last on the Superstore until around this time next year.
Finally getting around to doing my homework. Planning on making the 4 hour trip in 2 weeks. Your videos def help me keep variety in the show each year and try to stick to a budget lol. Thanks again!
It’s interesting how the 1/1 are way more than where I am but the shells are half what they go for here. I still want to check out their selection out there though
Don't know what part of the country you are in but yeah I've seen that in other store walk throughs and wondered why it's that way too. I know he sells a lot of those cakes so maybe he prices them to get the most he can. But I'm sure most places sell plenty too. A trip to the store is absolutely worth. You'll love the place. You'll have a blast while you are there. And you'll be wanting to go back.
Prices are outrageous there I’ve found Rocket fireworks in Wright City though that has the best prices around even better than online wholesale, 20+ 500g cakes all $20 and they have all prices online before you go
Anything good in the middle room I suppose or back section whatever you wanna call it? Got some apocalypse shells last year was hoping maybe they had ghostbusters this year
prices too high, but dont let that sway you away from visiting.. their clearance section makes up for it.. i just wouldnt buy these "premium" cakes right now. those older 100sh cakes are still 100, theyve been those prices for years now
lol. There’s a portion of people, not to say that their way or my way is better or worse I just think people enjoying fireworks like I do is awesome in general, that feel they are kind of protecting the OL cakes and brands and so they’ll never show the stuff on RUclips for feeling like they are in a sense ratting them out. My feeling is our government agencies know what comes onto our shores and their goal isn’t to stop all OL products from coming in but rather to keep it within a reasonable boundary, and every once in awhile they show their hand. They don’t rely on RUclips vids to know what kind of fireworks are where. If a store is going to put fireworks on theirs shelves that are freely accessible to the public and they are fine with me videoing their store, I’m going to show what they have on their shelves because they are in no more chance of getting in trouble whether I show it or not. What they have to concern themselves with is someone getting hurt by an OL product they bought from them and telling this to the authorities. And if this stuff is already on the shelves for anyone to buy they have already chosen to take that risk. I know the community is happy to be able to see what they have and maybe that helps them plan their trip out or something so I video it all. Thanks for taking a look!
@@FortheLoveofFireworksman I agree with your take on this so much ! I’m tired of people hiding the good stuff , I take it as they are being greedy and not trying to share the pyro fun .
Biden became president and attacked the oil and gas industry without having another energy source readily available. I’m guessing most of this is shipping costs. Higher than Covid? It was almost empty during Covid! I see some decent deals in a few of these videos but if you are unhappy you can always just order from a wholesaler on line and pay your own shipping costs. 🤷♂️🇺🇸
Talking with him I can tell he's very aware his prices are too high compared to what they used to be. But with so much money wrapped up in those expensive firework years it looks like he's just hoping to sell as much of it as he can at those prices.
Man I wish I had that still by me even though🔌 it was just great to have like single shot stuff. She shot cakes but man you guys are lucky whoever is lucky to be a stay over man cause I’ll be over there every every other day lol to get there so so much stuff just be on the bangers.
This may be a shot in the dark and you may have shown them off in a video and I just looked over it, but can you recall if they had very many ball shells? Specifically Great Grizzly Six Shooter shells or Shoguns Fixin to Fire shells. Every video I've seen of the Superstore filmed in the last 4-5 months that shows off their shells doesn't show a huge selection of ball shells.
It sucks but we as consumers need to stop buying NOW. Prices are absolutely insane! Most 500g cakes are up 75%-150% depending on brand from just a few years ago. I love fireworks, but the industry has priced me out. Time to find a cheaper hobby.
If you haven't already I would recommend looking into a good wholesale company. Per piece you'll get prices that are better than the Superstore has ever had. In particular Schnietters Fireworks in St. Joseph MO has the best prices I have ever seen.
Yes, agree and I did. I am big budget, but when your big budget gets you 1/3 of the fireworks that you got in 2019 or 2020...there is no fun to be had in that. I spent 10% of what I usually spend last year. This year I haven't bought a thing
@@FortheLoveofFireworks Since 2020, wholesale fireworks have also jumped up 60-125%. Just a couple quick examples.... in 2019 and 2020 at my (tiered wholesale) discount I could buy gorilla warfare from world class for $18 each case price. In 2022 that same cake was $34each case price. NOAB's are way crazy too, 2019/2020 a 2/1 of NOABS such as wacky tobacky, or say...Neon Jellyfish-> $61 or $30.50 each. In 2022 they were somewhere around $170 for a 2/1. Ill have to dig up some invoices from years past and post a video on it. Prices are why I quit pyromusicals. My budget for my 2020 show and 2022 show was the same however, WAAAAYYYY less product in 2022 show. A big part of the charm was buying stuff dirt cheap and putting on a big show with a ton of product and everything that you needed. I feel like those days are over.
As far as I realized I don't think I saw very many that had gone up in price but when I cam across that brocade waterfall it was a real head scratcher. Talking with him he seemed conscious of the fact that his prices are too high compared to what they used to be. I know everything that is going on in the industry right now is trending everything cheaper. Maybe he sells a lot of this one and is trying to take full advantage of that?? lol
Good price on that Nature Boy cake and thats a 🤫 one. Has a nice, loud finale of ❄️. Hoping you did a firecracker section too and appreciate the content 🤙.
You know, I've never done a firecracker walkthrough. It just never registered to me as one to do. If it isn't too late for you I'm making one more trip in early June and can film crackers then.
@FortheLoveofFireworks Right on and you don't have to brotha, I'm just a sucker for firecrackers/collecting myself, and I know that place has a huge selection of em 😎. Hopefully I can make the trip out there one day from Central TX.
Smaller cakes not bad retail, 1/1 and 2/1 prices pretty ridiculous though😮💨😮💨
I thought prices would have came down some by now but I guess not.. glad I haven't made the trip yet. Thanks for the video!
I thought about going there for a few years now. Glad I haven't either! Those prices blow!😂

Dang…prices are tough, I used to like to make the trip there. Thanks for the video.
I went up there from St Louis last year. It was fun to window shop. But, I only bought 3 or 4 fireworks since their pricing was not that great.
Keep thinking every year they will fix their pricing problem but here we still are???
Thank you for taking the time to post with prices.
I'll be back there next and we can only hope that guy finally wises up a little on these prices

They did last year. Call them and ask. They're nice people and will give you straight answers.
Ouch on the prices still going up
I was disappointed to see at the time, but to be fair I do think that was only cake as far I'm aware that went up. He must be selling that one
Man what the hell I thought this place was known for good prices. Who is paying 300 for a single firework that isnt over 500g lol this is insane.
Well.. these particular type of "500 gram cakes" are all far more than 500 grams. In that price range they probably have 3,000 or more grams
