Don’t leave your bow in the tree. Either a squirrel or a packrat will chew through your string. This happened to a friend of mine it took him three weeks to get back in the game.
Much easier to name a deer, then having to always say “ I saw the tall narrow 6x5 with the kicker on the G-3”. Just more efficient to just say I saw “ skyscraper “, and everyone in your group knows who you are talking about right away.
Awesome footage...my guess is you jumped him bedded and when he got pushed it got his blood pumping and that was fatal...had it happen to me this past Thursday in PA on a nice 8...watched him bed down 50 yards after the shot and waited over a hour and a half for him to expire but I ended up having to get down and go finish him before it got dark..I could tell he was hurt bad but as I got upto him he hopped up and took off...I decided to back out and recover him in the AM but on my way out he was laying dead not more than 50 yards from where he ran from..he bled out quick after he tried running off....awesome buck congrats
That's a great camera man right there at 9.05 mark. I use to be a camera man for a while. When it was my turn to film I was genuinely happy for the hunter like he was. I stopped filming with the guys I hunted with because of people's Ego's, this was great to see how excited he was in that situation. He was a part of killing that buck as well. 👍👍
You made and absolutely HORRIBLE shot on that big buck!! In front of the shoulder, low in the neck. WTAF?!?! You totally screwed the pooch on that deer and then through the "magic" of editing managed to find him. Wow!
@@donniegreathouse72 It wasn't a headshot. Go frame by frame 20:50 into video and you'll see it was a high shoulder shot. You can see the entry hole at 24:02 when he's notching his tag. That angle he got 1 lung which took him a while to die from.
Dude that first kill, I was on edge for you! I can’t imagine pulling back and having to hold it for that long and then smoke him! My goodness!
Very nice buck congratulations
Nice follow up my man bbd . Great action like
Might be unlucky for that big buck 13 on a Friday . Yep I'm in ...
How many points ?
5 hours come back and still get him tipping over on film. Insane lol
Congrats !! Great Hunt.
Merry Christmas Realtree...⭐

Music is too loud and the whispering too faint!!
At least put the video out in November
Awesome Buck brother
Nice Buck's Guys
These guys call their property “farm” … wtf
Are you guys “farmers”?
So. Maybe it used to be a farm. Or still is in some spots.
The good Lord was shining on you-that 2nd shot was a blessing! Good Work!
Think that heavy deer was 3.5 or 4.5?
Why,why, why is all this babble necessary, just show the damn hunt!
That is an insane rack, the thickness combined with the count....
Congrats that's one hell of a trophy
BS, you never get that many chance. just a pet farm deer.
This is a old vid right?
Sweet man!!
So he gut shot that deer?
I looked at it in slowmo, seems to be headshot
@@skimaster1466 must've been a horrible headshot if it took him that long to die
