If you ever bought a customized sword in Isiolo town, there is a high chance that Abdi Mumin sold it to you. Popularly known as Tumtu (Borana name for blacksmith), the man is revered as the oldest blacksmith in the county.
While he learnt the trade from his late father Mumin Hassan, he started this journey aged 14 back in 1974.

What an encouraging elder. May God light his heart and lighten his work. May the Lord also entrust his children to look after him and help him as he is losing strength. Amen.
