    The mexican police were lucky to have such great instructors teaching. I wish they had an online school.

      Es algo común, no solo en México. En USA, un policía recibe alrededor de 8hrs al año de entrenamiento después de salir de la academia. Lo que los hace capaces es el trabajo en sí: tener encuentros cercanos con gente que no coopera o es violenta.

    When people watch cops doing martial arts they're like "pfff this would never work in real life". Then some video of a cop countering a machete slash with a perfect judo throw viralizes and they're like: 'o'

    • @GlidingZephyr
      @GlidingZephyr 4 года назад +1

      I've noticed that. 😂
      I've seen a lot of armchair experts claim that something wouldn't work in a street fight, but all of them forget one thing. If you teach any traditional art to someone who has fought on the street and lived, they'll figure out how to make it work. That includes police officers.

I guess the instructors’ claiming this is taekwondo is definitely misleading.. 😭 I’ve been in taekwondo for some time and even the traditional instructors don’t know this. The very execution is FMA. If one trains with FMA, these techniques are very very familiar. The gun disarms though they got it from somewhere else but still not taekwondo.. 😭

    I'm sorry the stick technique is weak because the opponent can strike ur first with the knife. U need to be offensive when someone is against u with a knife. U need Arnis training

    • @MaharlikaAWA
      @MaharlikaAWA 5 лет назад +2

      I agree, holding the stick like that is not effective since they can double attack easy and also hit your fingers. All you need to do is use the stick as a weapon and parry with your hands. I am a Taekwondo master 4th dan and Kali instructor at the same time.

    한마디로 정리하자면..
    실전 사용 불가.
    일반적인 무술을 통한 신체 반사능력은 높일수 있지만
    쉽게 접 할 수 있는 태권도,합기도,격투기,검도, 호신술
    등은 실제상황 발생시 본인의 순간판단,흥분상태,상대방의 공격패턴,방법이 천차만별이고
    예측 불가능하기 때문.
    전세계 특수부대들이 고유 실전무술을 개발하고 타국의 특공무술을 교환,교육하는것은 하는것은 다 이유가 있음.
    평생 무술을 한 사람이 아니라면
    실제 상황발생시 2초내 상황판단후 본인이 제압불가능 하다는 결론이 나면 튀는게 제일 좋은 방법임,
    그리고 다굴엔 장사없음.

    • @JJ-tz1zr
      @JJ-tz1zr 4 года назад

      저도 비슷한 생각입니다. 어떤 무술을 배우던 상대방의 패턴을 읽는건 무술에 한 10-20년 종사한 사람이 아니면 불가능하고 대체로 유단자들도 싸움시 흥분을 하게 되면 개싸움이 될 가능성이 농후합니다. 저 무술의 실효성은 모르겠으나 반복숙달로 이소룡처럼 몸에서 자동 반응하는 경지까지 끌어올리지 못하면 일반인들에게는 의미 없을듯 싶네요

      i think they use an adaptation of TKD. If you see alot of their other videos, they aren't really using much of TKD moves per se. They may use the foundations and basics, but rarely resort to just kicking

    • @epicstoies

      All the movements and principles we saw here came from Kali/Eskrima/Arnis specially with the weapon applications. Maybe 2% of TKD was just shown here and 98% FMA.

    These cops are gonna get shredded if they think this is gonna work.
    TKD is not hand to hand combat ...sorry it just isn't.
    This whole video is crap. This is all movie fantasy moves.
