So did Specterman rip off Ultraman.? Or did Ultraman rip off Specterman.?
Ultraman predated it by 5 years - but there was a massive tokusatsu boom in the 70s that produced so many “Ultraman-esque” programs. Of course, you could argue that Moonlight Mask was the proto-toku show, and that has a few years on Ultraman even.
@@yhsonmonsterisland That and giant robot stuff. heck they had a spiderman series that had a giant mech. Most of this era stuff was a giant guilt trip about pollution and greed. You see this in every Specter man episode. If you think woke is bad today, this messaging got quite heavy handed.
