Jamal Murray recorded with 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 7 assists while aided by Michael Porter Jr. (20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks) and Nikola Jokic (16 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals) for Denver. Dallas improves to 39-29, while Denver moves to 47-21.
With this victory Dallas jumps Phoenix to become the 7th seed in the Western Conference.

During the regular season, only 1 out of 10 games are anywhere close to this playoff intensity type game. Seems like 1/3 of the NBA games are missing one or two big stars due to injury or load management. In the All-Star Game, nobody played defense, which was embarrassing.

All this talk about Mavs challenging for a title is ridiculous. They are the 8th seed. I know they have a good squad and had injuries this season but they have lost against teams they should be beating. They are not consistent enough to win a title

I am a die hard Celtic fans - This is one of the best game winning shots I have seen! Left hand hook by a 6ft guard over a 7ft MVP Jokic.
Irving is 6'2", unless you find evidence this is overstated-but since the average NBA player is 6'7" he looks shorter. Joker has never been listed as anything over 6'11". Still a superb play.

For me the unsung heroes of this mavs win, are the center duo of Gafford and Lively, who did everything they could to limit Jokic.
Not just by playing as physical defense as the refs allowed, but also by crashing the offensive boards (7) and running the fast break as often as possible to force Jokic to keep pace with them.
A high level game and great players on both sides. I miss this NBA quality.

I see what you're saying but I believe he was trying to make sure that THJ doesn't take a shot and pass the ball to him and wait until Luka and/or coach was going to call for a timeout as it is possible that he knew that a timeout was going to be called.
Denver played it out, they didn’t have time to talk about what they would do if the Nuggets missed so THJ figured he had to go after he got the ball. Luka and Kidd were signaling for the timeout before he even landed.
This is my 3rd time watching this finish and I still feel goosebumps.

In my ranking, it goes like this:
1. Kyrie Irving
2. LeBron James
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Michael Jordan
I vividly remember both Irving and James effortlessly shooting with their left hands during practice sessions. I must admit, it was truly remarkable. However, when it comes to the variety and innovation of left-handed shots, Irving and James surpass even Kobe and MJ.
