    I have a 2013 Victory Highball. LOVE IT!! It will eat up just about anything Harley puts out.

    Love the video man! I’ve been looking at victory’s for a long time. I have a Ducati 848, but I’ve been wanting to get another cruiser. Only thing I’m worried about is the bars on this thing. They look sweet, but they also look like they could be uncomfortable. Which victory would you choose if you had to? As a commuter bike to and from work and whatnot.

      At 5'8", these stock bars are just a slight stretch. But it would only be an issue on 45+ minute rides. Zipping around town is plenty comfortable and handling isn't an issue. I remember being surprised the first time I rode a bike with apes cause I expected it to feel super uncomfortable, but it was actually the opposite. It comes down to personal preference as far as style goes (I dig the highball and hardball), but all the victorys are basically on the same platform with the 106 and I don't think any will disappoint. I did a victory hammer ride/review a while back. Thanks for checking the channel!

      I have a 2013 Highball and I'm 6'2" and ride my bike daily as a commuter. I have no issues with it. Love the bike and the feel. Its awkward when I ride another bike, like my mom's Honda, without apes now because it sits me straight up and comfortable.

    But can you still get parts for these bikes that are no longer made

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 лет назад +1

      I believe they're supposed to be available for up to 10 years from when the bikes went out of production, so around 2027 or so.

      Jon's Moto Garage For sure carnal. If you have a input then it's good, if you don't then I understand. I was just wondering what the maintenance on the victory highball would look like in your opinion for long time ownership and if you'd recommend it as a daily cruiser. I am transitioning from a older model Yamaha 1100 I've had for over a year and want to make a semi educated decision in my next bike. In your opinion is the high ball a bike capable of riding to 100,000 miles at a convienant and affordable range? Or what are the expenses attributed to the engine size difference/ model of bike.

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 лет назад +1

      Great questions! Unfortunately I can't speak to the longevity as I haven't experienced it myself with a victory. However, based on my experience ripping around on one, I think you'll love the daily ride aspect of it. I'd check out some forums to see about the long term use/potential issues with maintenance stuff. Keep me posted if you end up getting one! Other comparable bikes to consider: yamaha road star warrior (hard to come by these days), honda vtx 1800, yamaha raider 1900, suzuki boulevard m109r (all muscle bikes). And a bit higher on the price spectrum: harley vrod.

      Great question! I may go into what I do for a living at some point in the future, but for the time being I've decided not to discuss it on the channel (it's nothing glamorous. Lol.). However, I will say that I work nights which gives me some flexibility during the day to have fun with the motos. The motos are an enjoyable side hobby that keep me entertained and allow me to put my money to work at the same time.

      Shawn See Actually very stoked on the bike/ride. Remorse regarding the cosmetic blemishes that i somehow missed before getting the bike home. I've owned a few victorys and highly recommend em. Much more bang for your buck compared to comparable Harleys. Thanks for watching!

    Is a 2015 Victory Highball a good bike for a beginner or is it way too much? What would you expect to pay for one with 1.7k miles? (I could buy/flip either way?)

    • @JonsMotoGarage
      @JonsMotoGarage  5 лет назад +1

      It's a lot of bike. Are you a bigger dude? I'm 5'8" and wouldn't feel comfortable as a new rider. It would be a bit overwhelming. What year is it? In my local market I wouldn't pay more than $5500-$6k because even the low mileage, excellent condition ones seem to take a while to sell at the $7k mark. Remember the higher the dollar amount, the smaller your potential buyer pool. If you can get it between $5k-$5500 then there should be good room for profit. That's based on market here in az.

      All Victories are very powerful especially for a beginner. Do you have any riding experience? ...Take riding classes if you have not already, again, take riding classes. Last thing anyone wants is to see someone die for lack of experience.
