    I've got two of these. They are both the 14 v version.Borh failed in the same 2 ways . The boards go on them.After a bit of deliberation. I just junked the board .battery to fuse to switch to motor. Simple. Both carried on working indefinitely but please realise you do this at your own risk. Also, the switches went on each I believe one went before the mod, one after so I don't necessarily blame any change in current through switch .The first one, I bought a switch.The second...I just drilled out the ali Rivet on the side of the switch and cleaned the slightly burnt contacts with a dremel. Simples

      PS .I run them both on an 18v battery now and they've worked fine .Again your own risk

    I have built in a 150W brushless Turbine which fits in without any modifications, bought for 5 bugs only. Its more powerfull and way less noisy.
