As Rajivji has described, Indian History has been tampered so much by the colonialists & the invaders who had burnt the major literatures which were collective heritage from time immemorial, what we are seeing today is only a tip of knowledge which was the hallmark of our ancient civilisation. It is high time that our history is rewritten in its correct perspective for our future generations. It was a great discussion & should be done more often. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

A genuine General and Ist time feeling proud of a General, Aiyarji if you visit British Era buildings ,bridges, even excavations you will find most of Architects n excavator names with their ranks as Capt, Col etc. Ist time I saw one of the genuine Officer, another name is Air Mshl Veer Narayan , a navigator who had a Navigation formulae for Air speeds known as Veer Narayan formulae ( I was told not read by my seniors when he visited Jalahalli Bengaluru as AOC in C in 84 / 85. A salute to Gen and very hearty Namaskar to you to put him on web.

Very interesting, informative and thought provoking session. Couldn't imagine it ended so fast 🙂 If we could have more elaborate sessions about Mohenjodaro and how some other locations of the Sindhu Saraswati Civilisation can be compared to nuclear explosions of recent past would be very interesting. The most amazing thing is that discussions with Narayanan Sir🙏 totally link up the entire sub continental landmass which truly awakens the nationalists amongst us who believe in the Indic Civilisation.

Quite revealing. Maj Genl has interpolated timeline of our history by at least 2000 years. Didn’t realise that an Army man can go so deep into history. I was baffled when I saw in Sankara Matam of Prayagraj that Adi Sankara was 2500 years old whereas the other history dated Him 600 to 700 CE. Some clarity has seeped in just now.
This topic has to be discussed perpetually.

I am sorry to say this - But, Indians today are not in a mood to introspect and accept any criticisms. The feeling of indian resurgence is blinding us. We want to hold on to our (imaginary, grandiose) greatness that happened 4000 years ago and kluge them in Modern times. How can we claim - ‘Mother of Democracy’ when we haven’t practiced Democracy for 4,000 years?
We can easily find our answer by pondering why we turned the foreigner who came to trade into our Masters. We constantly blame them for ruling us instead of wondering why we didn’t fight for ourselves.
Banning a Documentary (that we don’t like) is not a practice of Democracy.

1871 was when the British introduced the "caste system". Prior to that, we only had jati-varna. Their objective was to change India from a decentralised democracy (Dharma+kratu) to a centralized monarchy, on the lines of the monarchies of Europe.

I could easily listen for hours to the knowledge and insight of Rajiv ji on geopolitics esp with relation to Bharat.
    Edit :
For things to have happened the way it's described it would have required high end technology and science in ancient past. Was there such technology as described in our Itihasa? Or is it all a "myth" as propagated by our colonial masters and their minions?
Did it exist, what happened to that technology if it did exist? Was it wiped out in a flood or natural or man made catastrophy? Why can't we see signs of it in archaeological digs and reports of it in history books other than a few books mentioned? Was there a cover-up or is this a narrative buildup?
The only way to clear such things is to fund archaeological digs and find out the TRUTH, whatever it may be - A super civilisation that declined or a normally evolving one that progressed.
There are other books and videos on Younger-Dryas Event that let to a great worldwide flood. If that IS true AND it coincides with the timelines described then it's definitely a possibility of super civilisations collapsing and re-emerging from the devastation. But somebody has to do the research and excavations and connect and prove all this esp for Bharatvarsha. People don't change their minds easily as we trust many things blindly.
    Satyam Eva Jayate. 🙏🙏🙏

    Fascinating episode
27:08 31:33 I find the idea of nuclear a bit far fetched. But its possible to combine your two reasons of climate change & violent explosions into something more plausible.
Volcanoes. If enough of them go off and this continues it can create the equivalent of a nuclear winter which can lead to crop failure over a period of time. Burning ash and rock ejected can be hurled high into the atmosphere and then descend further away and burn people. Dust in the atmosphere will lead to rain and cause sudden cooling. If some radioative material is present well there is your explanation.
The only problem with this theory is finding evidence of during the time frame you are speaking about.
That such events happened is beyond dispute but they took place millions of years ago. Think of the Deccan traps. The Deccan was violently volcanic and over an extended period in the earth's past. Non stop belching volcanoes. This is the reason there is so much granite to be found down south.

As an archaeologist specialized in Harappan civilization I don't agree with David Davenport's story of radiation at Mohenjo Daro. Vitrification is common at Harappan sites due to the high temperatures used for firing pottery, beads and metal working kilns. There are multiple reasons for the abandonment of this region including climate, collapse of trade and infrastructure. Migrations out of this region happened in waves until it became uninhabitable for a few centuries.

This talk expresses a view of chronology without much evidence. Nilesh Oak presents a view based on astronomical evidence, which is clinching. He further has multi-disciplinary evidence. If we start with his date for the MBH war, we can work out the date of commencement of kaliyuga.

Long back Will Durant wrote that Indian gave democracy. Panchayat is also a democratic aspect. But the democracy was much stronger as it had dharmic rulers. It is unfortunate and an irony that on one side we say that westerners messed up the history and on the other we still need their approval through their write ups. Idiots believe them instead of Bharat references.

Buddhist is not religion, it path of purification,
    Foundation is four noble truth,
    1) Suffering- death, old age disease ...
    2) reason for Suffering,
    3) path to remove Suffering
    4) if follow path - liberation from craving, wrong knowledge distribution, Buddha's knowledge
First pillar is past births, himself,
Second pillar, is knowledge of others rebirth....
    Knowledge of universe..
He told history of his past 549 birth, which gives history of evolution of cosmos,
    27 past Budhas history,
It took him approximately 549 birth to evolve to reach this stage.
He will not come back to this universe...mahaparinirvana.
To become Buddha, he completed 10 parmi, 10 upparmi, 10 parmarth parmi, 5 mahadan,
Anyone do this he will become Buddha,
There no beginning point to this universe, no end point, it is cyclic, appearing and passing away,
    Future Buddhas are coming,
    Budhas discovery is
Wrong knowledge is Foundation of suffering....
Complete Destruction of wrong knowledge, is complete destruction of suffering and rebirth,
I have some experiment and experience in this regards.
