Robert those trailer bushings can be a nightmare bud I've replaced many of them in my years turning wrenches on trucks and trailers it's definitely not a 1 day job more like 2-3 if everything goes right, find ya a reputable trailer repair shop where they know what they're doing. Stay Safe guys 👍🇺🇸

Don’t be afraid to do the bushings yourself. You can buy a the hydraulic tool to push them out and in. Let be honest Bob… you did the injector cups in your driveway.

Only place to get trailers repaired trailer repair shops. That's all they do have tons of spare parts and normally cost less than a diesel shop.

I know it's on the other side of the country, but Michigan MD alignment could replace those bushings. They recently replaced the steer axle on my t800. You could borrow my 53 aluminum flat while you wait.
The best alignment guy...flat out..try to refer him to anyone with steer tire issues but we used him once on every volvo i have owned...436k on last 10 Michelin all position steers...perfect wear...tires still legal for trailer use..500 bucks trade-in

Just like the king pins on your tractor front axle, the dealer offers OEM plastic bushings, they don't last long with wear. American frame and axle in Tampa FL recommended brass bushings so I know this video is old but hopefully they installed brass bushings on your trailer.

Get the number off axle see how much it is take yours out install new one as far as alignment one side is stationary the other is adjustable measure the stationary side to center of saddle then adjust the adjustable side to that measurement.

you need a special tool to push the bushing in I have done alot of them if everything goes good it's about a 6 hr job
That plastic part is a spacer not the bushing. Yes the bushing is inside the housing but that’s just a spacer.. I do this everyday.

I had the same scam pulled on me, he was driving a brand new Tahoe with all the fake gold on him, first he wanted gas money, so I offered to take him to the gas station right there and fill his tank, then he didn't need money for gas he needed to feed his kids, i told him no and then he started pulling his fake gold off and begging for money for his fake gold, I just told him sorry buddy and drove off.

Here in Orlando at the Florida mall there was a marriot hotel attached to it which i believe was sold and turned into vacation rentals. Anyway i was in the mall parking lot getting ready to go into work. These two guys pull up in a box truck with a magnetic sign on the door. Their gimmick was the boss put an extra stereo on the truck. They had some bogus looking flyer that showed the the msrp was like $600.00. They were trying to get $300.00, it was the junkiest stereo I've ever seen in my life. So i said no thanks and went on my way. They proceeded to ask anyone in the same parking lot. The next day they roll up and start the same speech as they did the day before, i was like, " dude you don't remember me from yesterday?"
He said ” ohh fuckk!" And drove off
