I have been looking for this for years . I had it on vhs. I was 'in love' with Chris from the age of 6! We believed in the fairytale. I Won't Send Roses is so beautiful that when we heard that they were not a couple I could not watch it . 😅 I met them and was cured of my addiction .
They were very rude and dismissive of the fact I was such a fan. Chris annoyed me with his attitude which appeared to be that British people were unsophisticated compared with American audiences . I bought them beautiful, expensive gifts and never even said thankyou . My mother cried .

I remember watching this. It was the end of their amateur careers and pretty emotional. I taped it and kept the tape for years, and almost wore it out! Kiss Me Kate was one of my favourite musicals so I loved that they did “From this Moment On”, but I’d completely forgotten the “I won’t send Roses” routine. It was lovely to see this again.

That routine to I Won't Send Roses made me cry when I first saw it. It still has the same effect. They're quite unique.
