  • this is Port Dover Ontario and it is a pretty cool place if you are looking for a pretty cool place to hang out. there may or may not be a lot of bikini chicks to check out on the beach and a bunch of places to get a beer so what else could you really ask for.

Sam has the right stuff about some local guys starting it in sic 1977 . Worked at the Esso refinery which used to be Texaco, he made the news by being trapped by Covid on Cruise ship off Japan LOL

    Hey dude,
    Great video!!
Being from port dover I hear many stories on Friday the 13th but the truth is dull and not very exciting. It started with just a group of biker friends that would just go out to the bar and hang out on there bikes. they would do it every Friday the 13th and it slowly got bigger and bigger and well now thousands of bikers come down every Friday the 13th to show off their bikes and have a drink.
PS. the restaurant that has the palm tree gets new ones every year from florida since they don't survive the harsh dover winters.

Thanks for sharing. You could actually see where the brown water meets the cleaner water. Disgusting for sure. Thought i saw homeless Tony on the beach.

this has to be a joke video. Growing up in port dover in the 60's looked nothing like it is now. It was a small town and grew to between 2500 and 3000 people. It was saved by texaco, stelco and Ontario Hydro building plants on lake erie early 1970's. Caledonia is a small area also but in time has grown. What did this podcaster say. 8 Million. Sewage draining into the brown water ?? Nonsense. AS if that would ever be allowed. Port Dover had a lovely dance hall where where it was very popular in the Big Band Era. Port Dover was a fishing port and lots of perch were sold and fished. Most of that sort of thing has been fished out and it is a tourist town. Small shops. Alot of people go to port dover and eat in resturants serving LAKE ERIE PERCH. Port Dover used to be cheaper then the bigger areas around to build a home but is now way over priced. Homes are built in areas and it has lost it's small town look. Small 50 foot lots. This character doing this video has no idea of the history of Port Dover. HE has no idea of what is even going on in the area. HE talks as if caledonia as millions of people. What is the use doing a video if nothing you say is correct.

Your facts about the hells angels and mongrels starting this is bullshit. The hells angels as a motorcycle club didn’t exist in 1943. Not until 1948 and not in Canada. They formed in California.
Dover 13th started after a few friends decided to repeat a meeting at Dover on Fri 13th and ever since it’s gotten bigger just by word of mouth and now a few friends have turned into tens of thousands.
