I think there are really pretty Arenas, and especially that one from LASK, which will be finished in 2023 becomes very modern, The bigger clubs in Austria, like Austria Vienna or Rapid or now even LASK invested a lot of money, with that infrastructure they want to get closer to RedBull Salzburg, and as an Austrian, I hope they cann succeed, to get a more thrilling league-campaign
Why Generali Arena (Horrstadion) has a cell tower (Funkturm), has a simple explanation: Originally it was a cell tower next to a stadium. Because of the stands becoming bigger in time, it became more integrated... Here you can get a feeling for the height of the tower (footage before the main expansion of 2018): ruclips.net/video/nw6IY_--EeY/видео.html
Hey man I have an idea for a video. For NCAA basketball the final 4 is always held in a 50k+ capacity venues, many of which are American football stadiums converted into a basketball venue. I’d love to see a video on that!
You could make a tribute video to one of the founders of GMP architects Meinhard von Gerkan, who recently passed away. They designed a lot of interesting stadiums, so it would be a nice way to highlight these.
Ans violette Schmuckkasterl kommt aber keines heran. Punkto Nachhaltigkeit und Infrastruktur unübertroffen in Ö und der Bau des Violaparks schreitet weiterhin voran.
American Football is quite popular in Austria. The Vienna Vikings who play in the purple Generali Stadium are the current champions of the EFL (European Football League) for example
Love these. Please keep them coming. I have a suggestion, but it's a little cynical: since Qatar built more than half a doze stadiums from the ground up for the current World Cup, maybe you can rank the top 20 World Cup white elephants since 1990? You have to admit that it might be fun.
Tivoli Stadion is owend by the City of Innsbruck and hosts the games of football teams WSG Tirol and FC Wacker Innsbruck as well as American Football Team Swarco Raiders Tirol. A small mistake, altough kid of right, is that FC Tirol ceased to exist altough a new club FC Wacker Innsbruck basically was founded as its successor and claims all the history of the club. After financial difficulties they now play in the 4th tier of Austrian Fooball.
also fc wacker innsbruck hopes that wsg tirol is soon out of there, tivoli was always the home from us and wsg tirol is originally from a few towns away but they changed their name recently, let‘s just hope they finish their stadium in Wattens soon, wacker wants the tivoli back as well as Wattens (wsg tirol) wants to go back to wattens
@@TheWideWorldofStadiums ahh finally! Can't wait to see what you think of Fatih Karagümrük's actual home stadium (it's so bad that they cannot even play in it) There are third tier clubs in Turkey like Sakaryaspor (okay they actually ascended to 2nd tier this season but still) with much more modern and sophisticated stadiums than Fatih Karagümrük Have a great stay in Ankara!
Klagenfurt was designed before New Jersey. You are right - they look shockingly alike... although klagenfurt is larger in capacity! (but much more useless nowadays hahaha)
Wait, you said the first one is the biggest at 29,863 but then midway through the video Red Bull Arena is listed at 30,188. Which is actually the biggest in the country??
In general the biggest Stadium in Austria is the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna with over 50000 seats. I think the reason why he was saying that the 28 Black Arena is bigger is probably because even at Champions League games the RB Arena can't host more than 29000 people, so at least I have never seen bigger numbers there as this. ☺️
Finally…how has the worldwide public managed to survive until now without having been introduced to the delights of the utilitarian identikit stadia of East Styria?
Your sarcasm and dry humour is really hilarious 😂😆

Tivoli in Tyrol is nice. It's a shame that Wackers Leadership is utter garbage.
@@felixzwei6145 You are so true, Broo..
really glad you made a new video about the Austrian Bundesliga stadiums. The new LASK stadium will be the most modern in the league next season.
The new stadium of LASK is very beautiful
