- While these are all GREAT moves to get space from your defender, before you go out and use these immediately, make sure you're dedicated to adding these into your game! But, with devotion to put these into your bag, they're extremely deadly moves.

I like how he shows college highlights too
Much more applicable to most people!
By Any Means Basketball I’m glad that you are aware of this. It’s almost impossible to apply nba moves to high school because of how open the paint is in the nba.
That's a good point, I'm gonna start doing more college film for my breakdowns too.
Hell yea
@@ikemikekpeazu5076 really when i watch the nba i dont really feel like the paint is open
1. Freeze Move from Triple Threat (Jab Step)
2. Dribble Freeze (Shot from a Position that's not expected)
3. Footwork Jumper (Hesi Jumper)
4. Pound Sidestep Stepback
5. Misdirection Separation
thanks
Perfect
Thanks babe 😘
Mah man
I love it. Good stuff but can you make the shot??? lol
Im 14 and just wait ima be in the nba remember Drake Lambert

I didn't really hoop all that much until freshman year of college, I think the freeze jab move was one of the first separation techniques I learned and used reliably to get buckets, and it gave me so much confidence that i fell in love with playing the game, not just watching it.
appreciate this vid sir. keep up the good work and thanks for the ebook!
Great Teaching Video! Really like the Emphasis on doing a Hard Push Off to Create Separation.
Also Really like this Idea of Staying on Balance and Setting Up in a True Athletic Stance. Less of a Knee Bend and More of a Shot Ready Hip Hinge. Great Video!!!
That misdirection separation off the triple treat in the mid post been my bread and butter since middle school 💯
That's my favorite too. I'm gonna do a film breakdown on it soon.
one of my favorite you tubers. always dropping fire content. definitely deserve 1 mil
Thank you so much bro! Been working on these and they seem like great, simple moves
Cool to see these moves. All of them are in the ball-handler box. (An imaginary from the knees to the ankles.) I love moves that are in that area. They are hard stop bc of their tendency to generate foul calls, and they are athletic/explosive. Great vid man!
This channel has the best tips man🏀🔥
Which is your favorite one? Let me know.
The footwork jumper looks really effective because lots of different players of different heights and positions use it. I also really like this style of video.
I think you forgot the off timed misdirection. I don’t know if you know what it is or some won’t. It is best set up by first driving after between legs to shooting hand. Then it is the same thing but you explode not when you do the between legs dribble but after that but before next dribble.( throw shoulders twice.) finally the move where you use the same delayed explosion but this time going to the weak side double step back.
My favorite is the dribble freeze 🥶
I've tried the footwork jumper but it's not very comfortable for me. My favorite of the five you showed is the misdirection separation. I like to use it to draw the defense to me to make driving easier.
I like all four moves and they should be added and put in into your offensive arsenal sorry I couldn't just pick one
Growing up I've always been really tall and towered over the competition so I've always played center, but my growth kinda stunted when I turned 13 and I've been 6'5 since. My height still allows me to play center since I live in a pretty short country but I'm moving abroad for my studies next year and I think that if I want to make my university's team I should change my playstyle and become more of a forward/guard. I'd really appreciate a video with tips on how to do that if possible.
You from the philippines
@@ayosteezchill7486 nahh not even close 😂 although I think Philippinos are pretty short too so not a bad guess
Kyriakou filipinos*🙄
Holy 6’5 13 year old 🤯
You're a monster!
Amazing content. Thank you and keep it coming !
I knew these moves when I newly Started basketball but I never knew how to use them or I just wasn’t using them right but this video helped me understand which situations to use it because the honest truth is that sometimes you know the move but you don’t know which situation to you today and this video really helped me thanks I liked it and I just subscribed 😀🙏🏿
Yessir great video! I use some of these moves myself 🤘
Great tips man! Love the attention to detail. Damn I wish I had these when i was young
Hands down
Best youtuber ever for hoopers ❣
This is the most detailed channel ever
Mine is actually first but he's a close second. Lol
Nah, he does a good job though.
Love your content man!
such a great teacher 👏🏾
Love this video, Coach!! You missed out the Harden 27 dribble move, streetball favourite 💰💰
Been doing these since a kid. Really helpful when you have a quick release
He does a great job
Great as always!
for the hesi jumper the 1st thing you said is correct.. the jump is good.. but to get open is the sell like you actually going to drive then pull up.. it's the quick movement that make defenders react. like the video
This channel is the besttt
This helps a lot. I have handles but I don’t know how to use them 😂
Im subscribing
I fucc wit this video heavy appreciate it bro🙅♂️🧢
I already got these move in the bag my fav is the Pound Stepback that’s the most effective since my jumpshot is high arching.
You making the shots though??? The moves are easy but you gotta get the bucket
NICE!!!!
I think I need to go back to my jab.... the others are perfected 😃
Hesi jumper is my go to move in an iso I like doing it off a drag dribble so I can just hesi and drive if they try to predict it
I’m 15 I wanna go to the league one day I really practice everyday I’m getting buffer daily and staying and shape and my court are still open I been out playing basketball everyday wish me luck 💯
Nathan Sreethar good luck brudda 💯
See you there🙏🔥🔥
See you there dawg

One of the most underrated basketball RUclipsrs. 🔥
Yea, I agree. I'm trying to get my skills to where his are. Couple more weeks and I'll be there.
I love the last move. I do it alot super efficient move played against people who had it down pat too Austin Rivers probably one of the best at selling it
Anyways great video!
Thx for this vid man
All these moves are super cool just like this RUclips video and I'll add all these moves to my game!
This is really helpful
Thnx 4 the tips Bro God bless u
Thanks for the tips
I think most of these have existing names.
#1 is just the jumper off a jab step.
#4 is basically what’s been known generically as a “step back, ” particularly driving off-hand, but I like that you call our the pound part.
As for #3, I think you leave out the main fake, which is that it’s a fake drive. You have to look like you’re gonna drive.
#5 is a good name for a move which I haven’t seen named before, except “misdirection” is a long word.
Noti gang🔥
Exactly! "Try this out but don't start shooting them immediately" that's the words i wanna hear from other basketball youtubers out there coz it depends on the situation..just be.. unpredictable in the court and be ambigous as you can coz that's how ace player plays being unpredictable and ambigous inside the court.
Just do it!
should've shown some buddy hield clips🇧🇸his technique on a lotta these moves is hella underrated
I don't even got a court, but I'm still grinding💪💪
Do yo stuff bro!
@@nlpbball7331 Alright bro, thankfully I found a court that I could use. A double rimmed. Its better because it helps. I have currently been developing my shooting form. But now, If I want to make it to the league. I got to work next level. Have a nice one.
@@abdijabaryasin4950 yea for sure bro. I’m a strong believer in the 10,000 rule to master something. How old are you and how many years have you been hooping ?
Make sure you master all the fundamentals first ! And master using both hands with everything shooting, finishing, handling and practice practice !
Ay love it man. That’s real💯
Let's Go!!! 💪🏼
Add this and your cp3 breakdown vids I became more unguardable went from a slasher to a mid range playmaker I hope you make attention to detail on defense to help my overall game
This guy makes it so easy to understand
Completely Agree
Hey guys. I was wondering if you could answer my question about taking threes in ball. So in January I sprained my ankle pretty hard by going up for a jumper and landing on somebody's foot on a fast break. Even up till now theres still a little bit of pain and I was wondering what I can do to avoid this in the future. Ive heard once you feel somebody's foot aa youre about to land you fall over like how chris paul does it here in this video 2:39 and how steph curry does it apparently. Is that what you guys do?
it's crazy I already use all of them except the pound dribble stepback. I'm not tall or fast, so I like to keep the defender guessing. Shooting out of weird positions.
Mines is the last one, imma use that one real often
man didnt put James Harden highlights on Stepback🤣
He doesn't do the exact stepback
@@kedda4515 of course he does
Much love to by any means basketball my 2k career never been the same 😎
Good vid a lot of ppl just show themselves doing these moves as if they’re in the NBA
Good vid !
Just realized I do all those except the last one. basically my whole game but then I have a tough time driving so they just start playing me really tight.
Best Channel
Crazy I been doing these moves since I was 12 killing kats at the park adults to at that age 🤷🏾♂️ moves definitely are effective
i love this video!
its very usefull. thanks coach
Idk when ill be able to use these moves 😞
The greatest separation move in basketball court in Corona
I’d say my signature move is a pull up/hesi mid range I usually hesi then either blow by or take a pull up mid range shot
Notification gang🔥
He does a great job explaining everything. I do videos too. I'm better with the graphics and stuff but he narrates it perfectly.
I was expecting a melo clip on that freeze jumper/jabstep. Hahaha
CP3 been doing these moves damn
What was michael jordan ball handling type please tell me i wanna work on it please
Yea 🔥
Showing you can get by somebody with quickness will convince them to react faster the next time -- when you fake them out of their shoes.
Every fake should look like the real thing and except for a jab step they should probably be around the player, so you aren't stepping close enough to lose the ball to a defender's quick hands. And on a big step, balance must be maintained to take the next step forward or back. Just a hop to the side can be easy and effective too. Lots of players are using that "move".
5:01 smoothest launch ever!
Damn this video is dope
Do you sell basketball home drills?
does fadeaway a separation move?
@ByAnyMeansBasketball can you do a video on Michael Jordan's landing mechanics to me he landed like a cat
Cat instincts
I just had this weird thought of mj landing on all fours like a cat😂
I’m going to use them In games
Good video but everything isn’t all about 3’s I would like to see more mid-range specific (looking at CP3 and MJ)
Ifnyour start getting good with these and hit them in game you can pull nasty a hesi off em
Step back is side step but in back ?
The hardest one the step back
You I'm the first one also I'm be in the nba remember dis name demitrius Smith-farquharson
Good luck on your quest men don't give up quickly always do your best and put heart in everything you do 🤜🏽
I guess I’ll meet you there ...
mate I know you, you play on the high school team here in gloucester, I'm not in high school yet but I will be after next year. Its so cool to see you here hahahah

3:51 oh man... the real number one pick we know
🔥🔥🔥
Where did you get the shirt??
but first, see if you can hit a normal nba 3 lol
Exactly!
Cant even hit a wide *OPEN* shot bro
Muscle memory is a real thing.
Practice practice practice...
Then practice even more.
In actual games and you UNCONSCIOUSLY pull a move off, you'll wonder to yourself 'how the heck did I do that' ?
how you show the stepback without hitting us with at least one harden vid...that is BLASPHEMOUS!!
number one sg in the league - flynn eliott
COVID19 is the only separation move I need.
Im 15 and grinding for the NBA remember the name Zaheen
Ima make it to the NBA to God be the glory
Dribble freeze is nothing more than a pull up jumper without the 2 step back travel.
How do I become damion lizard please ?
Subbed, that’s all I have to say
