    Growing up I've always been really tall and towered over the competition so I've always played center, but my growth kinda stunted when I turned 13 and I've been 6'5 since. My height still allows me to play center since I live in a pretty short country but I'm moving abroad for my studies next year and I think that if I want to make my university's team I should change my playstyle and become more of a forward/guard. I'd really appreciate a video with tips on how to do that if possible.

    • @matthewpinto6476
      @matthewpinto6476 4 года назад

      I think you forgot the off timed misdirection. I don’t know if you know what it is or some won’t. It is best set up by first driving after between legs to shooting hand. Then it is the same thing but you explode not when you do the between legs dribble but after that but before next dribble.( throw shoulders twice.) finally the move where you use the same delayed explosion but this time going to the weak side double step back.

    • @parkerrost6780

    Exactly! "Try this out but don't start shooting them immediately" that's the words i wanna hear from other basketball youtubers out there coz it depends on the situation..just be.. unpredictable in the court and be ambigous as you can coz that's how ace player plays being unpredictable and ambigous inside the court.
    Just do it!

    I think most of these have existing names.
    #1 is just the jumper off a jab step.
    #4 is basically what’s been known generically as a “step back, ” particularly driving off-hand, but I like that you call our the pound part.
    As for #3, I think you leave out the main fake, which is that it’s a fake drive. You have to look like you’re gonna drive.
    #5 is a good name for a move which I haven’t seen named before, except “misdirection” is a long word.

    Hey guys. I was wondering if you could answer my question about taking threes in ball. So in January I sprained my ankle pretty hard by going up for a jumper and landing on somebody's foot on a fast break. Even up till now theres still a little bit of pain and I was wondering what I can do to avoid this in the future. Ive heard once you feel somebody's foot aa youre about to land you fall over like how chris paul does it here in this video 2:39 and how steph curry does it apparently. Is that what you guys do?

  • @markhathaway9456
    @markhathaway9456 4 года назад

    Showing you can get by somebody with quickness will convince them to react faster the next time -- when you fake them out of their shoes.
    Every fake should look like the real thing and except for a jab step they should probably be around the player, so you aren't stepping close enough to lose the ball to a defender's quick hands. And on a big step, balance must be maintained to take the next step forward or back. Just a hop to the side can be easy and effective too. Lots of players are using that "move".

    alright so heres a nice one i made up its called a fake throw up ONLY use this in streetball so you guys all know the thing when you make them think your gonna throw it at there head but then you flick it down aka skit ) so i thought it would be a good idea to put the ball over the oppents head and flick it back to you and then they spin around and you can throw it at there back and then you do a step back and win the game i hope you guys like this move its very simple pls try it in your games it works trust
