I love the detail of Ariel helping Eric swim.
Same, i love that detail
Me too
@@JosephRailwayStudios2000Such a sweet gesture!
My mom loved Ursula when I was a kid, so she was ECSTATIC about this scene. And frankly, so was I, because Ursula's transformation sequence was AWESOME!
0:06 Eric: You want me? You got me!
0:22 In the original Ursula said "Babies! My poor little poopsies" but in the remaster Ursula freaked out and shouted "My babies!!"
My poor Ursula if protect her
I love how in this one, the deaths of Flotsam and Jetsam are a huge impetus and motivator for why Ursula decided to become angry and gigantic, probably as a sudden rage last-second whim thought too. Also the director Rob Marshall is really good at directing giant fight scenes lol, as he didn’t really well directing and filming the final giant fight scene in Into the Woods
Indeed
Rather staggering how Ursula's demonic voice combined a demonic bellow with evil laughter from 01:14 to 01:22.
That wat make them a good couple loving eachother so much he's willing to stick by her
Rather heartwarming how Eric reaches out to Ariel even during a suspenseful moment against giant Ursula.
Indeed
Yeah, it's sooooo sweet!
@@JosephRailwayStudios2000kingdom hearts 👍🏾😁👍🏾
Replace the giant Ursula with Kyle
One moment, Ursula transforms into an attractive woman named Vanessa. The next moment, she transforms into a giant sea monster in the final battle.
Ursula transforming into a giant monster, particularly a Kraken, is also listed under the examples of the trope in TVTropes called One-Winged Angel (a reference to Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII (1997), even though Ursula is commonly understood to be demonic and Satanic.
I always felt bad when the eels were zapped even though they were on Ursula’s side.
Ariel (Halle Bailey)
Eric! Get To Shore! She’ll Kill You!
Eric (Jonah Hauer King)
I’m Not Leaving You!
Ursula (Melissa McCarthy)
*Growl* Yes! *Laughing*
Eric (Jonah Hauer King)
Give Me Your Hand! Now!
*And They Jump And Dive*
Ariel (Halle Bailey)
Look Out!
1:41 Hard to port!!
The original's "The sea and all it's spoils bow to my poweeeer!" was SUCH a powerful, iconic line
Why on EARTH did they replace it with the much clunkier and less impressive "Now I rule the seas and all will be helpless against my power!"?
Only thing that’s such a shame about this part is that Melissa Mccarthy’s last scene is when they show her as Ursula angrily starting her transformation and then replaced with a giant CGI figure.
She still played that part when she turned gigantic, just with CGI added 🐙
She didn’t pull her by the hair in this one.
0:08 Ariel: ERIC! LOOK OUT!
Ursula lookin sexy
Great Remake
And it actually stay true to the original and it added some new elements to it
Definitely not
@@adriencalvary556 at least it's better than a pointless 2008 prequel
@@JosephRailwayStudios2000I agree that prequel sucked, it doesn't fit the little mermaid at all. I like this remake as I love the 1989 version. I love the twist of this plus love Ariel and Eric relationship a lot.

Giant Ursula looks terrible, because she's all CG.
I can´t see anything
Distorted Voice 💪👑🖤💜💗🈳️🟣♀️👹😈🇺🇲🇯🇵
Animation Eric kills her but Live action Ariel kills her.
Which is dumb
@@rachet87 oh, they're not dumb, they just confused Storyline and others so they did a wonderful job on both.
@@blakelightcap4835 no they didnt do a wonderful job the original was perfect the way it was
@@rachet87no it wasn't. Ursula was Ariels villain NOT Erics.
@@davecook-vann7336 Ursula is the villain to BOTH Ariel and Eric have you missed the whole point in the original movie
