A story from about 40 years ago when a photographer with a camera not a cell phone wanted to take pictures of some of the kids on the res and they grouped up for the picture but then started waving their hands and the photographer went to reassure them that it wouldn't hurt and it wouldn't steal their soul to have a picture taken. And Uncle standing nearby came over and said "they know that but you left the lens cap on"
Lol!
In Cherokee that's only"Pahdaduh" problem.
Classic! 😂
Hahahahahaha!!!!😅😂😂😅
Ha ha ha ha
The, "Natives doing cool or unique things", section was a beautiful story.
👍🏼💯
PALE FACES ain’t native “HERE”!
lol I laughed thank you , different culture but same reactions :)
For sure. That Maori guy is awesome. 🥺
@@YourGraceMyLady
All Polynesians are cool!
What have you heard I’m global news about them?

(Full disclosure. I’m part Samoan...)
It killed me when he said "I think his GF is a light bulb" LMAO!

@@FyreSprite69 hahahahah :)
Lol that got me to 😂🤣😂🤣
*Best pix I got of my girl....*
Tell everybody I fought a bear I won’t be mad 🤣🤣😁😁
my son listens to Brett on Tik Tok. was working at the grocery store imitating him thinking he was alone but this woman comes up behind him asked where something is, so being caught using "native voice" he answered her still using the voice! She had no clue just looked at him all starry eyed LOL
😂 That's great!
That last scene with the Maori official brought tears to my eyes. Sometimes it's the things that many people would consider to be petty, actually have tremendous significance.
"You're watching me being... deadly."
Native baby!!! LOLOLOL
😅😂
"There's no "gently used" uncle. They are either "never used" or "all used up" "
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm dead over here!
I can relate 😆😂👊👍
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think never used can mean there wasn’t anything there in the first place 😂
Lol good humor
Lol
Glad you showcased the Maori representative. It was a big insult that he was ousted for refusing to wear the necktie. Now he's back and the ancestors are smiling .
Btw Brett is the 🐐
I don't do social media so hopefully he'll be back on the show in the future. Really enjoyed the episode
Indigenous people should proudly wear their stuff!
They look so much better!
Also they have to represent their culture.
Cultures/Languages are vanishing so fast nowadays!
It's a crying shame!
Kia ora to our Pacific relatives ✊
And most white politicians supported him in that. That makes NZ a bit different.
Representing your culture should not be a huge issue (unless you're going all the way back to caveman days when we didn't have clothing and ran around butt naked)!
Well that's a win at least. I'll take it.
All you youngsters are enjoyable, from an old grandma.
Patrick, i like your vlog.
I'm a white person from Germany.
It helps me to understand better the problems indigenous people have in a white culture.
But sometimes i have to laugh so hard that my family thinks i'm totally crazy.
I like the sometimes very rough humor. It makes me think that my problems are mostly very small compared to the things native people have to deal with.
Over time i have learned to laugh about things that in former times would have me freaking out.
Thank you!
Stay safe all of you!👍😁
Hello my fellow navajo and indigenous people🤝
Ot ‘he! Kulamalsi ‘ha?
I love Jacob’s dance moves!!
Need a petition for Jacob to start a dance TikTok account.
If I pass 1,000 likes, I'll do it
@@jacobbilly7240 at least one tutorial with your dance, ple-ease 🙏 🙂 The subscribers will probably want to do a world-wide flashmob in their traditional clothes. It'll be so cool!
I know it makes me so happy when he's dancing, it's such a good vibe
"Smudge all you want I'm still coming back." 😂
was hoping to see the meme, rez winter is only a national crisis when it happens to texas. no water, propane lines etc...
i should have known better, you guys only spread positive peace and love. thank you so much for not being petty like me
Truly!!!
TRUTH!! I'm original a desert flower from Texas and New Mexico ("mixed race" border bae from El Paso) and having grown up near the Mescalero Apache Reservation and others I thought exactly!! May Empathy and Evolution in humans be new trend! 🌟🎇✨
I Actually thought the SAME THING!
Link to meme?
I always love the segment of indigenous people doing interesting and unique things. I do find it sad that original natives of many lands are made to feel inferior in the modern colonized countries to this day. Keep spreading the culture. I am not of your culture but that does not diminish its beauty, worth or my appreciation of it.
Same!
Agreed!
People should never, ever be forced to not do or be able to wear anything that’s traditional to them. If these so-called rule makers actually asked regular everyday people from all walks of life, they’d see that we respect people’s rights to be themselves!
Same!
"colonial noose" for the win.
New Zealander here. Earlier in his speech, Rawiri told the story of one of his ancestors who was wrongly accused of (I think) stealing from a European settler, and was hanged. Before his hanging he said ‘... take this noose from around my neck, so that I may sing my song...’ Injustice burns down through generations.
The Maori guy standing up for his culture reminds me of the girl shamed for her ribbon skirt - and the huge support she got from Indigenous women all over the continent 🥰
This vid's episode of Natives Doing Cool and Unique Things touched beyond my heart and to my soul and could practically feel my ancestors calling out in solidarity.
It's always nice to see a collaboration.
Yes!!! Rawiri Waititi!!!
Thank you so much for featuring my culture. Arohanui (much love) 💚
Kia ora from Turtle Island!
@@ibestrokin Kia ora bro/sis!
Ae, tautoko to korero Charlotte.
from a non native living on Vancouver Island 🇨🇦 Canada. I'm so glad you provide an insight into the culture as well as plight, of indinigious peoples around the world. You make me laugh as you teach me. Many non native people are hesitant to ask question for the fear of being insulting. Ignorance can only be eliminated by knowledge. Again thank you 😊
Wait, don't you have local TV in indigenous languages (with Eng/Fr subs) telling about Native American cultures?
Nice to know you're out there. I don't seem to have trouble finding people who don't care about being insulting lol. I have a lot od education in the discussion tab on my channel that I bet you'd be interested in.
@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism Many thanks!👍
I've been wondering for some time now - "Native American" isn't a very accurate denominator, since "native" means anyone born where they currently live. Wouldn't "Original American" be somewhat more accurate? Unless there's something I haven't considered.
@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism tell them to shove it where the sun don’t shine stoically!
Great to hear about native & indigenous politicians reclaiming their power from colonialists 👍
Lol relationship status as a disclaimer 😂 congratulations on 100k+🎉
😅 for those who's hearts might still be hurting after Valentines day
For a moment there, I thought "Short Wind" was because she was short, and farted a lot.
🤣🤣🤣
Ditto on that, better yet "she who makes sheets dance in her sleep"
We call that bad winds, I had a dog we named that. Small bad winds.
I thought it had something to do with farting too, lol.
😆😆😆💀💀💀
Damn native humor you cant beat it, keep it up boys
This old grey gal looks forward to every video. Can't say enough good things about you all. Thank you for my smiles and laughter!

Yakoke (Thank you in my Choctaw language) -- you guys always have a way of lifting my spirit. It's been a rough week. I really needed this. Stay safe and keep on creating x0x
I am so glad I came upon your channel! I grew up next to the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico and they were some of the nicest and most hospitable people to me. That's saying a lot since I am a white girl 😉 I remember spending Christmas Eve one night there draped in Native blankets by a bonfire and these old ladies were serving fry bread and some sort of soup. I loved it. ❤️
"I just want to fix the hole in the drywall and your heart" "frying up babe some rez steaks" "smudge all you want I'm still coming back" funny episode lol
Kia Ora from New Zealand! Awesome videos, I was really surprised to see something about our Maoris, thank you for sharing. Shout out to our fellow native people around the world ❤🇳🇿👍🤙
Gotta send this to my fiance Cesar. He's half Cherokee/half Hispanic. This will make him laugh 😂. I'm one quarter Lakota. It makes me laugh. Too real. Too funny!

Congrats on 100k+!
I'm hoping to plan something special! Thank you!! 🙂
I would love you guys talk and interview native/indigenous people from around the world, I think it would be really interesting to learn about the situation of aboriginals in different countries
Yes I’m all about that education
They are not ABoriginals! They are indigenous! Xxx
This is a REALLY great idea.
Yes, would be great!
I second this. What a great idea!
Thank you for covering the story about the Maori leader he stood up for himself and his culture ties are "colonial nooses". Awesome video as always 💜 the ending 🤣
Love the mix of hilarious and inspirational.
Brett is a great guy he won my mums comedy competition and she personally met him and signed a picture of him for me
You guys are funny 🤣😂

I was literally just looking on your youtube videos. I have watched every single video at least 10 times a day. And looking at Brett's Tiktoks. I was literally just thinking, Pat, Jacob, and Brett need to do a video together! I was just saying, I wish there was a new video. Pat: ✨boom! Me: Daaaang!
Hands down my fave RUclips channel!! Seeing the spotlight on Rawiri warmed my heart. Its so cool when our Indigenous cousins throw a spotlight on our struggles and wins. Ka mau te wehi!!! This episode had me screech laughing. Keep it up korua! I show everyone I know this channel.
Still looking for a gently used uncle 💀💀 You guys are so funny! Awesome to see Brett in this video. Happy late Valentime's day! 💞💓

Love you guys! I love the humor AND your cameos doing cool and unique things. Love how positive you all are while still calling out the BS in life.
Yes! The funniest guys on RUclips & Tiktok collaborating? Hell that was hilarious 😂👏💗
Love Brett stoise I follow him!!! That was amazing with collaboration between my two favorite RUclipsrs!!
And always with the positivity and Good vibes out to the universe you guys are amazing thank you 🙏💖
Brett is absolutely hilarious. He should create a youtube channel. A lot of us don't want to figure out tik tok. He is really funny and fills a void that is sadly missing in the market.
It's the disclaimer about him NOT being single at the beginning for me!!! He wasn't trying to go home & get it!!!
All’s I heard was Jacob’s signal 🥰🤪😍
I'm accepting application
I’ll send you my Resume🤪😁😊😍
Been following that Mauri story. As a former high school teacher I can relate. Was told I had to wear my hair in a pony tail (not a braid) & ‘encouraged’ to get it cut for 20 years. The sad thing was I worked at a h.s. in traditional Cherokee country named Sequoyah (Monroe Co TN)
It was a cool show. Loved the collab.
Jacob is adorable as always 🥰
Oosh! ✊🏾 The fullah Rawiri, that was a surprise to see him on here. He’s got a great sense of humour as well. I’ve been enjoying this channel and the culture. Ka rawe te Native Humour! It’s crackup. Kia Ora from Aotearoa.

So good to see you all! You always make me smile! You guys are always bringing the joy to my heart! May you all stay safe and warm and healthy!
I love the section, Natives Doing Cool or Unique Things. Thumbs up for sharing that Maori representative. I agree that the requirement of wearing a necktie for everyone is ridiculous.
Why should he? I've never seen your guest, Brett. Thank you for having him. He made me laugh! "Tell everybody I fought a bear I won’t be mad." 🤣
FINALLY another episode! Yasss.
Patrick and Jacob and Brett Mooswa, thank you for your upbeat humor! You guys make my days easier as we go through this pandemic.
I remember him from that tik tok you guys showed earlier!
I have no idea how i got to this channel, but it's so full of good vibes that i just keep watching even if i don't get all the jokes. 😅
I am so glad I found your videos. They are wonderful. I laugh so much and it makes me miss my friends I grew up with. I was blessed to grow up in a town ( that I did not like because it was so small but so loved my friends) with a large number of indigenous friends. I still speak with many of them on a daily basis through text, email, and social media. I grew up in what was once called "Indian Teritory" in Oklahoma. Thank you making me smile and laugh and for teaching me many things that I can then pass on to my students.
Tansi! Great episode Pratick and Jacob. Brett, you’re ALWAYS funny! Our Cree humour! Hyi Hyi✌🏼🇨🇦

Love your show, and Brett was a wonderfully funny virtual guest! Keep up the great work. Every time I watch you guys I end up laughing out loud. Respect!
Your channel has been such a gift! I’ve spent the last year diversifying the people I follow so that I can broaden my understanding of more cultures. I am a public school teacher in the United States and work to #DecolonizeEducation. Finding channels like yours to listen and celebrate BIPOC culture has been an important step in this challenging work.
I saw the Maori story you featured earlier this week and have already worked it into my lesson plans as a way to foster discussion in inclusion and respect.
I admire your wit and positivity. You’ve been a wonderful resource to better understand Native culture. My favorite lesson has been the roll of laughter and grace in moving forward to promote inclusivity. Thank you so much for your time and talents.
P.S. Jacob, you seem like such a sweet bear, much like my dear husband. And Patrick, your smile is just too adorable! Fan girl 🤗💜🤗
