This was a video from when the land first opened, the second ride Rise of the Resistance opened up and it made Galaxy's Edge a huge success. Disney is planning to add more characters into the park and have even talked about adding in another ride. So just be patient guys.

yes, more rides and props are needed. get some small spaceships flying at least on a wire from side to side. just to get the effect of a real far away planet. it is just a shopping themed mall where items and food are way overpriced. lol. at least in vegas you do not pay admission to walk around their buildings and shops.

Your camera work and editing is a breath of fresh air compared to other videos if theme park walkthroughs. Also, the audio of theme park noises in the background are very relaxing.
But he is obviously more passionate about ( unhealthy ) food than Falcon Millenium or X-Wings

They had some very cool gear to buy. Real outfits, not the cheap stuff you see at costume stores. Also they had these amazing replica light sabers. Made of metal and heavy. Very detailed and impressive

Absolutely fantastic video. I could sit and watch this all day. You did a great job capturing the sights and sounds of Batuu. You captured some scenes which I have not seen in any other video. Now if I can scrounge together enough credits and acquire a transport, I’ll make a trip to see Black Spire Outpost in person!
The land looks really cool, even though I barely know anything about Star Wars.
I stood in line for 2 hours for this ride and it was DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE WAIT!!
My husband is a *huge* fan of Star Wars, but hasn't been to WDW or given it much thought/research. He and I are going next year for his first visit (I'm a huge fan, but he has zero idea of what to expect and said he wants to be surprised). My plan is to take him to Star Tours and tell him that it is Galaxy's Edge. I cannot wait for the ultimate prank, the letdown, and the reaction when he sees the real thing!

It looks soooo cool, I'm luvin it!! But I don't know about a crowded sunny day, didn't see much shaded areas or trees kinda like toontown...
not that I'd gone off Star Wars. Far from it but this place really made me fall in love with it more. It was amazing. Especially when quieter in the dark. Cannot wait to go back. Definitely with more credits.
Disneyland should do more cool dark rides instead of wasting space on stores selling overpriced merchandise......

It is well worth it.
This is the best video I’ve seen on Galaxy’s edge. You can see the detail in it which not all that available in other videos. And I love that it’s strangely not crowded so you can see everything without swarms of ants everywhere.
This is why I watch videos instead of going myself.
It's just not enjoyable when you're bumping shoulders with The Horde™️ every 3.4 seconds.
Not the biggest Star Wars fan, but this is so damn awesome. Can't wait for WDW's version as well as Tron in the coming years.

I wonder if Disney is watching all these Cast Members just standing around and ignoring the public. Shouldn't they be interacting more and upping the immersive experience?

In all honesty and imo, the place is definitely more of like a shopping mall. Most things at the place are overpriced (but some i would say are rightfully priced) and you can tell Disney is trying to extract the money out of hardcore fans. I wish that the place was themed towards a different planet, a planet that we have seen before. Oh well i would say it definitely is a cool place with its blue and green “milk” (its kinda like a smoothie), customizable droids and lightsabers, and a millennium falcon ride (with another ride coming soon) the place is still really cool, i just hope that Disney World will have much more stores, rides, shows, etc. and they really take advantage of the land.

Disney paid $4B for the Star Wars franchise. They have every right to make a return on that investment. That being said, they dropped huge cash on developing Galaxy's Edge, with scale replicas of everything from the Millennium Falcon, to X wing fighters, to land speeders, etc. Nothing like this has ever existed. Disney should be applauded for creating this. Also, the 2 rides in there (Smuggler's Run and Rise of the Resistance) are unsurpassed experiences. Oh yeah, and all the stuff they are selling in the "mall" is like nothing I've seen before. They took it to another level.
I’d love to see areas dedicated to the original trilogy, the prequels, etc. Or at least different planets to go to.. Imagine going to some ride or area on kamino or mustafar or maybe going to hoth or kashyyyk
