I loveeeeed this movie, could've been easily one of my favorites if it wasn't for that ending. Did she deserve it? yes. Am i tired of lesbians dying on every good movie/show? Also yes. Anyway, this is probably the first video IN MONTHS I actually felt excited to make (so yay to me, because I got out of bed!) so I'm really glad I watched this movie. They're fucking cute (and evil).

@@agafaithrilles6274 the producer did make her die 🥲 he said it in many interviews, he also said he hesitated between kill marla or leave her alive enjoying a nice life. after that he chose to kill her because he said she got what she deserved, it was too easy to let her go after what she done to people, it was a moral lesson to learn us that life isn’t barbie world and karma is here. So yes, she died and we will not have another i care a lot 🥺

It's a touchy topic, for sure, but they are actors, in a movie and if they made you feel that much vitriol, hatred and emotion than that means they brought to life the script with their craft. It's like the movie Cuties. People jumped on it like it was sinister, without ever really watching it and the Director was exposing exactly what the critics were saying?? Even the actors say the topic is sensitive, but this is going on in real-life, it's bringing it to light, not glorifying it. Just because they live 'rich' doesn't mean it's glorified. Some of the characters were amoral but they also showed a human side. The 2 married grifters genuinely loved one another, P.Dinklage's character was ruthless but a marshmallow w/his mom.
I think it's a combo of misogyny and homophobia. Well, even in that movie with Jessica Chastain (Molly's Game) she escaped the Russian Mafia too, so it's not that unrealistic :) I don't care, I thought the movie was great and the cast. It had good twists/turns and Marla was someone I loved to hate.

This movie was a piece of trash, it’s got nothing to do with being homophobic just bc there’s gay characters in it and people notice the movie for what it is. It was so badly written, the plot was unbelievable, the main character was a sick sociopathic human who didn’t have one good bone in her body; she scammed and used old people, destroyed connections with their family. Imagine if that was your mother/father, your grandmother/father, how would you feel? It was a joke of a movie. The fact you think your opinion is valid to call everyone who dislikes this movie homophobic is so problematic.

I love them as a couple and I love Marla as a character but I was glad when she died. It gave a message of hope that people who seem so powerful and take advange of the system to hurt other people can be stopped. And they should, even though they're humans too.
