My favourite unit in the game is and probably always will be red escanor. Weird choice I know, but he was the unit that got me through a lot of the story at the beginning and thanks to him I made friends with whom I still keep in touch today, even though over 3 years have passed already.
If I'm being totally honest, Naofumi has been my favorite drop since I started playing the game during the AOT collab. He almost flew under the radar, as it seemed no one wanted to use him. But for me, there was something awesome about accumulating all 6 marks of wrath and then wiping the entirety of the other team. Now there are plenty of better options, but I still try to make teams around him. Edit: RUclips Shorts>>>>
My favourite GC unit of all time definitely goes to Purgatory Ban. Not only did I 6/6 him in a little over one rotation, he carried me to Challenger for the first time. What I also appreciated about his (first) team was that it gave me a break from the "turn 1, highest cc player bursts down opponent's dps, you lose" meta that was already going around that time, and making you wait for the right time to strike. I was hoping this Light Ban would make a new version of that team, but sadly he's not that type of guy 😔
God did i feel all those summons without Escanor. Been rerolling since the banner came out and still don't have an account with him yet. It hurts me even more beause either of both "The one" versions are my favourite units and even the main and almost only reasons i ever try and get into the game, first time when the blue version came out, but as its happening with this one, got quite unlucky and didnt continue playing, but let's see if i can get it this time around.
I'm really new to this game and started playing when the Mushoku Tensei collaboration came out because it's one of my favorite shows/light novels. I really found joy in Grand Cross tho and have been grinding this game every day for 4-5 hours. I started watching a lot of RUclips content to gain some general knowledge and guidelines. Your RUclips videos especially have been really helpful in guiding me through the months of grinding, showing me what to do and how to efficiently use my resources and time. I really appreciate your commentary throughout your videos, as it makes it easier to understand the game mechanics level and helping me building my teams and units „the right way“. Currently, my favorite unit is either Red or Green Gowther because they are versatile and useful in both PvE and PvP. They have helped me a lot in completing PvE chapters and defeating boss fights, and they have secured a good spot in my unknown team. However, I understand that my opinion might differ from the general player base because I lack game knowledge and probably don't have much nostalgia for older meta units. Keep up the good work!
I like Purgatory Ban at most, because 2nd anniversary was in my opinion the Prime at Grand Cross. And the fact, that he attacks with his HP was very nice.
Man Assault Mode Meliodas is just super fun to use with the atk lower + buff stacking, despite being giga powercrept. I adore his design and his ingame mechanics make him even more entertaining. I loved that his release was next to the og T1 banner. PvP felt so much like the manga fight between T1 and AM.
my absolute favorite unit in grand cross is Berserk or Assault mode meli. (hes my favorite in the anime and in the game even though hes the most mid character i spend most of my time trying to make him better, i actually used some of your videos to copy your build but im always stuck because i only have 3million box cc and he has some damage caps but i wont stop using him. i was especially happy when i found out that he got a HOLY RELIC, and it semi revived him but i cant get the holy relic at the time because i cant beat the boss that drops it but what made me even more happy was that he got rereleased with this 4th anniversary banner which made me happy even though i had to grind festival coin to get him for the 3.5 update i was happy to be able to get the chance to 6/6 him even though im riding off the daily gems i think i might get something good but even if i dont i would be happy getting at least one copy of Berserk for Assault mode Meli the last thing that i want to talk about is the fight with Escanor and Assault mode meli cause the animation on the anime made me take a 2year break from watching it but then i saw the animation in grand cross and it gave me motive to start watching the show again but im sorry for ranting and i wish every good luck on getting the account (even if i dont get the account i wont stop watching your videos) and i wish you a great day!!! also my second favorite is Traitor Meliodas (just wanted to put it in there sorry) ps i had to add this because i just remembered it once i posted my comment and i hope a edit is ok but with Berserk/Assault mode meli it made me kinda upset that you cant use lostvayne with him and you get this black grey blade but i guess it kinda resembles lostvayne i bit so im not really upset but i just wanted to point that out.

Sometimes, I even include him on my PvP team instead of my usual demon team, and he never fails to make the battles more exciting! Unlike some other units, he's not overly annoying to face, such as the blue goddess Liz. His passive skill is also a great help for Demonic Beast farming, and his ultimate move is simply awe-inspiring. The animation of him transforming into his full demon mode always gives me chills! Purgatory bans animations and abilities when i first started playing where quite interesting and very fun to use in all honesty, if not ban it would be assault meli because of the voice lines, animations, and yet again the abilities from him.
honestly my fav unit is purgatory ban, yes he's been a good unit before i still think he's still good. when i saw him in the anime i was excited and glad he had some good screen time in an unknown place to him.
Man, I'm sorry but, Fest blue King had to be the best character to ever release... Not only he was such an amazing character as a unit, but he was so good for the game's health, coming right after the unimaginable hell Ban and Marg brought. He didn't depend on any other unit to work, so you didn't had to waste countless gems on building a team for him to actually work like Marg/Ban kind of did. He was an amazing PvE unit too, so he had a lot more value than just PVP. His design was flawless, and all of his outfits were a dub. And to top it all off, he wasn't even overpowered, he worked as intended. Such a W in my book.

I'll be honest, I've loved Lost Vayne Meliodas (The red one) ever since I've played 7DS JP, it's been my PVP unit and PVE unit ever since his release, even if he fell off of the top best pvp units, and now that he's on Global I'm just, reignited! I haven't had as much fun as I have in these few days that I have had with him.
My favorite unit was purgatory ban because when I got him in the banner with him and the one. I got him first, and I made me feel strong for the first time, and I loved the walk away whenever he finished something.
my favorite character is defenitively freyr because of its ult effect, I just love the death effect setting in when I knew the damage wasn't enough, also love the north mythology side of the character so that's just a plus

T1U, he's just good everywhere lol, and arguably Lostvayne as one of my #1 favorite units because of the hype and now the LR

I've honestly been shafted by the recent Festivals, have to have gone the full rotation for one of I think last 6 fest units so they've all left a pretty bad teste in my mouth so I think my favorite at this point honestly is Fest King.

The One Ultimate Escanor is still my favourite character in the game ngl. I love units like Rimuru and Echidna and Purgatory Ban and stuff but with the One Ultimate I had the experience of being fairly burnt out on the game until I came back to it, thinking he wasn't all that good until I switched back to an old team and remembered doing 300k on a level 1 card was not normal LMAO. It was just an experience I haven't had with any other unit, like some of them are INSANE but none of them really made me do a double take on their damage the way Escanor did.
Honestly my favourite character is the new Ban, because even though he's probably the worst festival in the game, i like the way he is a support for a sins team, while being a kind of dps.
Ultimate The One Escanor has to be my favorite, he's just so dominant & his design is emasculate. He's good everywhere & works at high & low HP, has up to 4 extra lives which can clutch you the W, & he's Light.

Green Demon Lord Rimuru kept me from quitting honestly. I know, I know, picking a collab unit over a character from the actual story/anime/manga might be a little lame, but he seriously completely changed my account and outlook on the game at the time. I was really considering quitting, I wasn’t having fun, and it was a down time in my life to make things worse. Rimuru made me excited again for GC and gave me hours and hours of fun. I also just love infect and pierce 😊
My absolute favorite since day one when he dropped is assault meli because he is an absolute menace in the anime and he was so good when he first dropped The first demon team was my main team and his team was the first one I maxed out in now around 800 hours of playtime in total. Man, I'm sorry but, Fest blue King had to be the best character to ever release... Not only he was such an amazing character as a unit, but he was so good for the game's health, coming right after the unimaginable hell Ban and Marg brought. He didn't depend on any other unit to work, so you didn't had to waste countless gems on building a team for him to actually work like Marg/Ban kind of did. He was an amazing PvE unit too, so he had a lot more value than just PVP. His design was flawless, and all of his outfits were a dub. And to top it all off, he wasn't even overpowered, he worked as intended. Such a W in my book.

I'll be honest, I've loved Lost Vayne Meliodas (The red one) ever since I've played 7DS JP, it's been my PVP unit and PVE unit ever since his release, even if he fell off of the top best pvp units, and now that he's on Global I'm just, reignited! I haven't had as much fun as I have in these few days that I have had with him.
My favorite unit was purgatory ban because when I got him in the banner with him and the one. I got him first, and I made me feel strong for the first time, and I loved the walk away whenever he finished something.
My favorite unit is Margaret because I’ve basically used her on all my pvp teams since she came out
my favorite character is defenitively freyr because of its ult effect, I just love the death effect setting in when I knew the damage wasn't enough, also love the north mythology side of the character so that's just a plus

In the game, Transcendent Ban looks so damn cool and paired with the Merlin is an amazing combo, Purgatory Meli because he's not only good in the demon team, but a good all rounder with sins teams as well, The One Ultimate because... T1U, he's just good everywhere lol, and arguably Lostvayne as one of my #1 favorite units because of the hype and now the LR

my favourite unit in the game is green gowther. He's one of the oldest units in the game but he is the best utility unit in the game. The rank up + the attack related stats boost is so helpful.

I do think that my favourite character ever is green estarossa, even if his commendments is bad as hell his voice and counter are so great. His meta was also really funny with blue tarmiel and gowther, the good old times.

Lostvayne Meliodas has always been my favorite. He was the first unit I really wanted and I’m really glad that I have another chance to get more of him. I only got 1 when he first came out and I’ve always wanted to 6/6 him ever since.
Favorite, hands down, escanor, that black air force energy is just irresistible, plus his quotes and everything just make me love him more.
My favorite unit is Fest zeldris. Although he has been a bit left behind he is still a very good unit, his ult is really cool and I think he was one of the most decent characters by the end of the anime

My favorite unit in the game have to be red Escanor. I have been playing since pretty much day 1. I think I joined a few weeks after blogal released. Before I knew anything about the game I used red Escanor as my main unit to progress in the game, so he holds a special place in my heart.
I originally thought beserk estarossa because he has been relevant for a while now, but i think my actual favortie is traitor meli because he is the one unit that has allowed me to beat a lot of PvE content as a f2p

I've honestly been shafted by the recent Festivals, have to have gone the full rotation for one of I think last 6 fest units so they've all left a pretty bad teste in my mouth so I think my favorite at this point honestly is Fest King.
fav unit has to be THE ONE ULTIMATE obviously. BUT, honestly for me the hypest was assault meli ngl and the fact they made him so dependant on his team to be good is to this day an eye sore cause at that point in the series nothing about him was dependant on anything he was just strong af. shouldve made him better like maybe the deffense debuffs appear when he himself attacks like new Ban does.. idk man. anyways would sure love to have one of these accounts so (:
The og purgatory ban has gotta be favourite unit as he just dominated the game for as long as i can remember and I don't think the devs will ever make a unit as broken as him also i got him 6/6 in 2 rotation on his banner

I really like Ultimate Escanor, been wanting to get it and now I got it from the new banner. He's just too powerful in both PVP and PVE, and he has a cool character design and outfits in game.
Is the new ban good? Last time I seriously played was when purg meli dropped, and it looks like he isn't that meta anymore. I got the ban, but im really confused on the new LR system. should I use ban and what team comp would I use with him?
My absolute favorite is Assault meli. I just adore his concept as a character. And second comes Freya with a close 3rd new roxy.

ban, he's just so versatile and unique, he has his brawler version, nunchuck version and then his purgatory one is so amazing. I'm so glad his new festival is getting buffed

Jerico , I am know 14 but I got this game like 2 years back and then I uninstalled it because then I haven't watched the anime before I played and I realised I made a huge mistake this year because I could have had like 3 years worth of units😅
The One Ultimate Escanor is still my favourite character in the game ngl. I love units like Rimuru and Echidna and Purgatory Ban and stuff but with the One Ultimate I had the experience of being fairly burnt out on the game until I came back to it, thinking he wasn't all that good until I switched back to an old team and remembered doing 300k on a level 1 card was not normal LMAO. It was just an experience I haven't had with any other unit, like some of them are INSANE but none of them really made me do a double take on their damage the way Escanor did.
Honestly my favourite character is the new Ban, because even though he's probably the worst festival in the game, i like the way he is a support for a sins team, while being a kind of dps.

Ultimate The One Escanor has to be my favorite, he's just so dominant & his design is emasculate. He's good everywhere & works at high & low HP, has up to 4 extra lives which can clutch you the W, & he's Light.

Green Demon Lord Rimuru kept me from quitting honestly. I know, I know, picking a collab unit over a character from the actual story/anime/manga might be a little lame, but he seriously completely changed my account and outlook on the game at the time. I was really considering quitting, I wasn’t having fun, and it was a down time in my life to make things worse. Rimuru made me excited again for GC and gave me hours and hours of fun. I also just love infect and pierce 😊
