This interpretation is so incredible, it keeps the same vibe lyric wise, but makes it a little more spicy, and the song feels like its from some movie or something, I absolutely LOVE this
Literally what I thought
I'm blown away. This song was already so powerful and Remi totally reimagined it in a way that's just as powerful but feels totally new. Maybe one of the best covers I've ever heard like in my entire life? I didn't even think I was this big a Remi Wolf fan but this is so good I was literally listening to it for the first time with a huge smile on my face and by the end I felt myself tearing up so I guess maybe I am.

This is the best remake from the album, it's the same level of the original one. It's just perfect how this version just rewrite all the song from the scratch but with a new vibe that doesn't erase the deep tone from the original. In fact, this is a version from the other perspective from the lyrics, that really makes sense guessing that the "villain" is happy messing around with the "hero".

and yes, remi is the animal hayley keeps giving the energy to. it could be her own alter ego or another person she's fighting, but it is clearly less afraid to fight, even enjoys it.

Remi and Paramore are my top two artists and this is SUCH a dream come true that I never knew I ever wanted or needed! As soon as the music starts, you can tell this is a Remi song but it holds that vibe and feeling Paramore has. You guys better tour together again because I’m so disappointed I couldn’t see you together. UGH I’m just sitting in a parking lot with this blasting at 5am before work. Thank you both for blessing my ears with This Is Why and Re: This Is Why. I’m so happy you both make music so I can just enjoy life more. Truly one of the best things in life is listening to Remi and Paramore! ❤️

The rearrangement and cool additions of everything…lyrics, notes, chords, inflections, timing…cooking with (mostly) original ingredients but making something new. This is what good remixes are about but this is a great cover!
