@@artwhisperer88 I have been out of pocket for a few months and haven't seen your current work until last night. I have certainly missed watching you create these masterpieces!!!
Great ideas each time...love it! Thank you. A suggestion that works for me ,i heat the masking tape with a blow dryer...melts the glue and doesn t tear up the paper .bye💫Do in Paris 🗼👋
I just discovered you and I'm hooked! Your demonstrations are to the point, detailed, well paced, no empty chatter, focused, and I really enjoy your experimentation. So much to learn. Thank you!!
This is so exciting...both your celebration for 2,000 subscribers, and the creation of the double size print. I love the layers, the colors and the textures...the whole composition. ♥
So well done compositionally perfect. I was holding my breath all through watching you work . Very brave you have inspired me to get started on my new gel plate. Cant wait . . . 😅
I really like watching your experiments. As for working with "low-tack" tape, what I do is first apply it to fabric (pants), then apply to paper. After painting or printing, I use a hair dryer to warm the tape as I pull it. This works very well for me.
Cool print with a great color palette. Thanks for your videos. I've found that lightly heating the tape with a hair dryer helps it come off without tearing the paper underneath.
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing. Regarding tape and tape removal, I have very good success with 3M blue painters tape. Usually it comes off quite easily but if there's ever an issue, a hair dryer on low warms it enough to peel off nice and clean.
Really enjoying your channel, thanks for sharing your work. Your work is inspiring! Just wanted to mention that since the paper is narrower than the combined plates you could offset your second (and perhaps subsequent) pulls so the join isn’t always in the same place if that makes sense. The join was not noticeable in this piece. Hoping to see more of these big works, they are really impressive!
AW88- this is a lovely piece. The white frame all around really sets it off, doesn’t it? How cleverly you’ve disguised the center line. Wonderful color juxtaposition. What a fabulous way to celebrate 2,000 subscribers! 🎉
Loving this A great art piece. I would love to see rhis framed. One tip for removing the tape so it won't tare the paper is to heat it slightly with a hairdryer or a heat gun and then it will come of easily.
Such an interesting print. The tape can be prevented from removing paper by using a hairdryer to heat slightly as you remove the tape. Reactivates the glue to help it release.
Thanks for sharing with us your art. This format and the result is amazing. I have to admit that I love your soft talk. As my English is not my mother tongue it’s so easy to understand you, and it’s made this video such a pleasure. Thanks again. Looking forward for your next art video
You may not be a musician but this piece just sings! The texture, the depth, the movement, the contrast. It's a Coltrane. I can almost hear A Love Supreme. :) I use a hair dryer when pulling off tape. It comes right off without tearing the paper. Thank you for your inspiration.
Hello, greetings from the UK. Thank you for this and all of the videos you have shared with us. I very much enjoy watching and listening. Congratulations on reaching 2K Subscribers... here's to the next 2,000!
Very cool an amazing result for your first attempt… and what a steady hand on your squiggle🤣 quite a descent size one…even the beige on beige looks good… full marks🤩 and congrats on your 2K milestone 🎉
Congrats on 2000 followers! Love the idea of 2 plates together and with your use of added vertical lines the seam disappears. If you want a larger border don't bring paint to edges of plate. Print looks like poster from 50s. Great work as always.
Bravo, well done! I love the size - it would really make an impact on a gallery wall. Can you tell us how you plan to mount this...in terms of framing- will you use of a mat ?
I work on a huge DIY gel plate. It's just a cheap yoga mat covered in clear plastic, or inside a large zip lock bag. It def doesn't have the Gelli-ness of a tap gel plate, and needs paint retarder or the paint dries before you can pull a print.
I love your work and I so enjoy your videos but in this one you have picked up the ghastly American "I'm going to go ahead and...." It somehow spoils the tranquility. And yes, this one IS very cool - it would be a fab poster for a jazz concert!
2 plates! Now that is confidence!
So glad you didn't add more...fantastic...love the double gel plate works!
Fantastically fabulous artistically beautiful!
Knowing when to stop is so important.
You are my hero. Thank you.
Oh, oh, oh! Lovely and exciting.
Oh my goodness..this is FABULOUS, Fulton!
Brilliant idea to put 2 large plates together and the resulting print is AWESOME!!
Thanks so much Deanna!

Beautiful print!!!!
Fantastic- love it! Thanks a lot for showing your working process!
One of your best.😊❤️

That's what I've seen too, makes sense.
Looks amazing! You are endlessly inspiring.

Thanks! 😃
So well done compositionally perfect. I was holding my breath all through watching you work . Very brave you have inspired me to get started on my new gel plate. Cant wait . . . 😅
Thank you so much!
You are so humble despite your amazing talent!!!! I would love to be your apprentice for a month! Thank you for sharing!
Wow, thank you!
I love it. Reminds me of a 1980s poster for a punk band--very graphic. I mean that with great respect.
A poster for the Ramones! Hey, why not? (I Wanna Be Sedated plays in the background)
Love it! Congrats on your 2K followers :)

Thanks! Will try that next time.👍🙏
It is amazing, what a great idea.
Fantastic!
This is such a great print! Thank you for sharing your process!
The textures brought by the watered down paint is brilliant. Who would of thought?
Glad you like it!
Wow! Really like the white vs beige areas on the left.
Thank you sir!
I really love the scale of this print as well as the final result. Thank you for sharing this.
Cool and fabulous print.
Thanks so much!
Intriguing!
Cool print with a great color palette. Thanks for your videos. I've found that lightly heating the tape with a hair dryer helps it come off without tearing the paper underneath.
!!!!! wonderful vid and print!
Thanks as always Don!
Fabulous!
Good work!!!!!!
Hi, Fulton! Congratulations, dear one! 🌿. Just mentioning; the first pull, had me feeling Nipon. {Contemporary} Japan. Miss it there,
❤ love it… such a good idea with the 2 plates together. My suggestion is to tape all 4 sides of the paper.
Nice job!
Fulton, is this your most ambitious and successful work so far? I think so. You must be very excited and proud.
Thanks! I always have in the back of my mind the possibility that it won't be so great, but I would have filmed it anyway for experience!
Really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing. Regarding tape and tape removal, I have very good success with 3M blue painters tape. Usually it comes off quite easily but if there's ever an issue, a hair dryer on low warms it enough to peel off nice and clean.
thanks for the tip!
Fantastic result, inspires all kinds of ideas.
Can’t wait to see more of your creative masterpieces! 👏👏👏

Thanks Diane! I never pretend to know it all, everything is an adventure! Thanks for watching.
You inspire me❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching!
stunning!!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for leading the way! Love this. The layers and depth you create are mesmerizing. Very exciting to see an even larger format than 16 x 20!
AW88- this is a lovely piece. The white frame all around really sets it off, doesn’t it? How cleverly you’ve disguised the center line. Wonderful color juxtaposition. What a fabulous way to celebrate 2,000 subscribers! 🎉
So delicious ❤
thanks so much!
Loving this

Thanks for the tip Rebekka!
This is wonderful. I'm glad you were able to celebrate with such a successful piece
Congratulations on your milestone! So wonderful to see the two plate printing, it came out beautifully.
Thanks as always Kathy! 😘😘😘

This is so impressive. I love your ambition to work on this scale. I felt sure that there would be an obvious seam line but not so. Brilliant.
Wow that’s fabulous! Love your colour choices and glad you left it as it was !
Congratulations on your 2000 subscribers.

Thank you Christine! Hello and big love from Brooklyn New York! 💓💙💙💚💚💛💛💜💜
Very cool an amazing result for your first attempt… and what a steady hand on your squiggle🤣 quite a descent size one…even the beige on beige looks good… full marks🤩 and congrats on your 2K milestone 🎉
Thanks Reni!
What fun! I flipped the print to portrait view with red area at the bottom, it looked great that way too!
I thought exactly the same thing, thinking it is more balanced then. And maybe then a little mark at the top left corner. It is very nice.😊
Congrats on 2000 followers! Love the idea of 2 plates together and with your use of added vertical lines the seam disappears. If you want a larger border don't bring paint to edges of plate. Print looks like poster from 50s. Great work as always.
Love all your work but this is really neat!
Thank you so much!
I like your work very much. A tip, you can use a hairdryer to remove the tape.
That's a great idea!
Bravo! Would love to see how you will frame it.
Bravo, well done! I love the size - it would really make an impact on a gallery wall. Can you tell us how you plan to mount this...in terms of framing- will you use of a mat ?
This particular piece might look good in a shadow box frame without a mat. I think the term is a "float" frame.
I work on a huge DIY gel plate. It's just a cheap yoga mat covered in clear plastic, or inside a large zip lock bag. It def doesn't have the Gelli-ness of a tap gel plate, and needs paint retarder or the paint dries before you can pull a print.
That's so admirable because you know how to improvise! That is creativity right there. Best of luck with your art making!

What an exciting result! A grand experiment! How lightly or heavily do you roll the brayer?
no need to roll "heavily" or "lightly" the operative word here is Evenly.
@@artwhisperer88 That makes sense. Thank you.
Love that watered down paint effect...you could use it intentionally more often!
you clean your plaque with oil or water ? Thanks for every things

I tried measuring something in inches yesterday. I was so confused 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Where can we find those 16x20 plates?
I got them from dickblick.com ( in the US) not sure about sources outside the country.
Il est regrettable que la traduction en français ne soit pas disponible ☹️
je suis vraiment désolé!
I love your work and I so enjoy your videos but in this one you have picked up the ghastly American "I'm going to go ahead and...." It somehow spoils the tranquility. And yes, this one IS very cool - it would be a fab poster for a jazz concert!
I always see jazz, in Fulton’s work too!
Wow!
Fantastic!
