This was fantastic ! I can never get over how they used to record music, vocals and background on a take all at once!! And they sound perfect everytime except when they want to change something. Those were the days. At least with Elvis anyway. Now it seems everything is recorded one sentence at a time, and music separate and background separately. Blows my mind!!!

I love watching elvis do or sing whatever. Elvis wasin deed an entertainer with a beautiful voice , body, looks, laugh, smile ,walk, talk. Just name it. God gave it to elvis
I loved it Ray. Most people think Elvis just came in and sang, but he was executive producer of all his music. He often changed and created arrangements with the director. I hope you will do his rehearsal footage where he is talking to the girls. "Elvis Presley talks to the Sweet Inspirations"/words. He was so sweet to them. Cissy Huston(Whitney's mother) said when they called from Elvis' group to come sing with him they thought. No. But it was a great offer and good money, so they went, and when he walked in the first rehearsal, their jaws dropped he was so beautiful. Thanks ray, you do some fab reactions.

What's great about this video is that it's complete. The original version that appeared in "That's the way it is" was heavily edited, the 2nd half of the rehearsal was not included. "Leon" does a great job with these videos by finding the unused film and splicing them together to give a complete unedited version.

I’d have thrown myself at him, just being honest . Awww they probably didn’t realise it at the time , but how privileged were all his band. OMG I bet they could tell us some stories and I bet some stories they will take to the grave with them . Oh I hope there is Heaven so I can go find Elvis.
