You will always be my favorite miniature painter, bruv. Your humility, your ridiculous talent, your ability to actually EDUCATE your viewers/fans.... you would make it really difficult to dislike you. This is just another fine example of your extraordinary gift to the 40k community.... thank you, brother.
Regarding the chalky look of streaking grime - if you mix your thinner with a small amount of linseed oil you can increase the satin effect, though it will lengthen the drying time noticeably.
I've watched a lot of your 40k videos, but this got a subscribe, like and a share. Raptors are my absolute favourite chapter, suits my play style and mentality perfectly 🤘🏻
i tried some of your deathwing terminators and loved them, thanks so much! I have now bought belial and the cloak has a GW DA green, your green and purple. Any ideas on the purple and the second green?
Did you well actually about the lore and get it wrong? Wild. When wearing an honor plate (or a field repaired plate that interferes with the chapter badge’s display) on the left (as this marine is), but retaining a normal right shoulder, it is standard to move the chapter badge to the right shoulder to appease the armor’s machine spirit. Individual chapters vary on if the badge will be mirrored when moved to the alternate shoulder, and there is no official artwork depicting such a Raptor so either orientation is fine. If both shoulders are honor plates, the marine may display their chapter badge on a knee pad (assuming this wouldn’t obscure a squad or company mark). If knees are not compatible with the chapter heraldry you may see it on a tilting plate, or on the helmet. The chapter maintenance serfs may also determine that the machine spirit’s pride is appeased by the combined honor of the dual special shoulders and not require an external chapter badge display. Also, I believe “rough and dirty” was the stated goal in the title, which is helpfully labeled “grim dark.”
Nate, I don’t want this to come off the wrong way, but I need some help. I know you’re tight with the GDC crew, but could you enlighten me on the goons grime a bit more? I backed Kendon’s Kickstarter for VI, but my goons grime just seems like a super thin brown wash. I thought maybe there was sediment in the bottom that needed mixing up, so I shoved a metal skewer in the bottle and dug around, shook the bottle like mad, but there’s no “grime” or “grit” in it like AK SG. Am I missing something or is it just supposed to be a dark brown wash and I need to change my methods of using it? Any help is appreciated.
Hi buddy. Apologies your having some trouble. Have you reached out to them? I do know that occasionally the sediment can settle to bottom, i use a vortex mixer. If i was you i would contact kendon on info@grimdarkcompendium.com If there is an issue with that batch then maybe he can help you out ☺️
Before you complain about this gentleman using an airbrush, please consider how much money you spend on models and paints. You can get one for less than a hundred with a compressor and it pays to or itself rather quickly. You’ll buy a spray primer for $20 a can but will complain about an airbrush? That’s just stupid.
I don’t understand all these RUclipsrs apologising in advance about airbrushing or stating they are only going to use a brush. Who can’t afford an airbrush that buys warhammer? An airbrush setup costs less than a squad of marines. It’s annoying when painters don’t use an airbrush. Wish more focused on it.

Damn, i want to hangout and paint with you so bad dude.
Im on discord most nights 👌🏻
lol, have you deliberately picked the queue tips that give off the most fibres known to man?
😂😂 it apears so
The chapter symbol should be on the left shoulder and the eagle's head should face the other way.
The paint job itself is very rough and dirty.
👌🏻
