Hawkatana True. Seriously Copen has gotten so much shit in his life but nothing says fuck it more than having your own blood related sister forget about you because of a digital fairy hijacking her body
So to recap, Mytil, Copen’s little sister was born with one of the most powerful septima in the world, but her body couldn’t withstand said power so it was removed, rendering her fragile and mute. That power was put into Joule, an artificial human who was being held hostage by the corporation who wished to use the Muse to subjugate all Adepts until the Muse evolved a spiritual avatar, Lumen, who would help Gunvolt in rescuing Joule and dealing a heavy blow to Sumeragi, destroying Joule’s physical body and rendering her a spirit herself still able to use the power of the Muse. Which would just open a whole other can of worms in allowing the terrorist organization Eden to step in and split Joule into fragments while they plan to use her powers to free adepts from prejudice by just wiping humanity off the face of the earth for good. And all this was orchestrated by Zonda, who used her illusory powers to infiltrate Sumeragi to both sabotage them and steal Joule. On top of all that, now Lola, Copen’s partner AI has a fragment of Joule’s septima which has evolved Lola into a Muse herself. Wow some people just CANNOT catch a break can they?

@@davidpotts7116 Sorry I haven't played this game just watched this but is Joule and Mytyl like one in the same? And was Joule telling GV to stay away in the end actually Joule's thoughts or was she taken over by something?
Nezzen this was copied from another reply I made on this video. It’s a bit hard to get if you don’t have most of the whole story, so I’m sorry this is gonna be a bit of a long read. This should answer most of your questions you might have though: Basically you have GV as the main character who is an Adept, these "special" humans who are treated terribly because normal humans are afraid of the power they hold. In the first game, he works for an organization called QUILL and was sent on an assignment to kill "Lumen." "Lumen" has the power to resonate with any Adept and even control them with her singing. He finds that "Lumen" is a projected form of a young girl who we know as Joule, and GV, being unwilling to end her life, instead rescues her and defects from QUILL but still works with them from time to time. An evil organization known as Sumeragi, who actually were holding Joule when GV rescued her, fully analyzes the powers that she has, and wanting to basically rule the world they kidnap Joule in an attempt to use her to brainwash and control all the Adepts. Being Adepts themselves, the Sumeragi use these things called "Glaives," which are basically power amplifiers for Adepts. GV eventually defeats the Sumeragi and its leader Zonda, and everything seems to be okay when Joule is returned to him. Enter the second game, where Zonda tries to alter that initial plan, wanting to control Adepts but not take away their freedom of will. She basically wants Adepts to live at peace with no humans around, as they are treated so poorly and in the case of Tenjian even live with the risk of being murdered. Now, Mytyl is Copen's little sister. Mytyl wasn't in the first game and Copen played only a small part becoming GV's adversary. He hates Adepts, and uses weaponry that is able to nullify their powers so they are easier to kill. As you saw in the beginning, Joule was trapped in the mirror shards and was broken apart so that her power was fragmented, and Mytyl was kidnapped by some other Adepts. It turns out that Mytyl and Joule are really one in the same person, Mytyl being the physical body and Joule being a sort of "soul" that resided within her. It's a little complicated to explain, but basically Copen and Mytyl's father hated the power she held and somehow successfully ripped Joule apart from her, causing physical trauma that left her really weak. Zonda's execution was much different from the first time, actually fusing Joule into herself instead of just using the power she held. This made it so that GV couldn't talk to Joule, which was where Zonda failed in the first game as Joule still had her presence of mind. Now that Joule and Mytyl are one though, and Copen hates Adepts and just wants his sister to live a normal life (she is probably going to middle school as she wears a seifuku, a sailor uniform common in Japanese school systems, in the last cutscene). Realizing this GV tells her that he doesn't know her, even though Mytyl recognizes him because of Joule being fused back into her. Honestly, this series can kinda be summed up as GV just has a terrible time keeping his closest friend and potential love interest safe, and has now lost her forever. There's a third game coming out supposedly winter of 2019, but even though I hope GV and Joule can live happily I hold sever doubt that GV will receive his well-deserved happy ending. Hope this helped give you a good scope on the story so far. EDIT: I forgot to mention the Grimoires. They're basically the same as Glaives, where they amplify the power of the Adept that uses them.

Actually Copen was supposed to be the protagonist and Gunvolt the main antagonist in this one, this is why you battle against him with Copen and why Copen's story is more developed or intense in the final scenes like after the zonda's battle. I think because of that, great part of copen's story is probably canon and the ending is mixed with both sides.

We all know if there were slurs for adepts that would’ve been copen’s entire boss fight dialogue
You make it seem so easy, yet whenever I try something like this I fail 1 minute in...
I feel you. I was happy just to master the tutorial level in gunvolt 1. To be honest practice makes perfect. A little skill and repetition go a long way.
Can you make a boss rush video, with Dragon Marked for Death, or YIIK?
I thought the muse was just Joule’s power, not her entirely....
What happened?
Dapple Drawings according to the game she just up and dies by gv2, but her power allows her to remain as a spirit within gunvolt
Thunder Music Oh okay, thank you for explaining...
I haven’t beaten the first game yet so I didn’t know
@@dapple-drawings Couple words of advice... Find the jewels in each of the Sumeragi Seven's stages, and practice fighting without prevasion. Or at least how to fight Nova without it, because you need to clear his entire stage using a certain pendant that disables it in order to get to the real finale (and be prepared, because it's tough).
Chaos Controller Thanks for the tip!
@@dapple-drawings also get good at dodging with anthem active, there is a weapon that ignores prevasion.
Why do I vaguely hear Giorno from the main characters voice?
"I, Gunvolt, have a dream! "
They're not even that far apart in age too.
Gunvolt: Oh, you're approaching me? Instead of running to other adept, you're coming right to me?
Acura: I can't Doppler Destroyer the shit out of you without getting closer.
p.s. Acura is Copen's real name in Japanese server
*[insert 7 pages of MUDA here]*
Wait is that killer bee's voice?
FINALLY THANKS
Absolute unit
9:00 Copen you can bitch and moan when you join the fight, m'kay?
9:01 poor copen-kun
Good shit, Gell.
Aw, was hoping you'd cover the "Ultimate Gunvolt/Copen" bosses from the Frozen City Score Attack. That shit's merciless.
Give this guy a happy ending already.
But how do you get the true ending on both path’s?
Is no one seeing that Azure is just rocking out with his thing out?
How'd you get the text scrolling of dialogue during gameplay to slow down? On my game, it goes so fast that I could only read half of the dialogue before it scrolls to the next line. Is there an option to slow it down?
The true adepts here are RUclips's ads in the middle of the videos!
I don't get it. Who's this Zonda? Is it the one dude Copen killed on-screen in Gunvolt 1? He/She looks very similar to that one guy.
Yeah

Ok, cool.
Gv = megaman and blazblue breed together with touhou DNA
I can feel it
i only watched gellot play this game so i have no idea what the taking damage animation might look like. or anything that isn't a boss!
This is the hardest game but... i complete the final boss!
I'm sorry. Can U tell me what will i do to unlock secret ending?
How did you play the second part of this game? On the Internet and Steam there is only the first part.
can you fight the secret mission 5 with 1 hp and use the 0 skill as finisher? (wringing out the kudos)
I don't even what the fuck this is yet I will watch the entire video
Why Zonda sounds like Dio Brando!?
Edit: During first appearance, of course.
You thought it was gonna be Zonda
_BUT IT WAS ME, DIO_
Loli DIO
¿"Dio Brando"? ¿a mi me suena más a Palus Abel?
Simply Beautiful.
