Today we share a classic technique from Chinese Staff Weapon's training, Lan Yao Gun | 拦腰棍. This is a technique that is is used in the well known Shaolin Staff Form , Yin Shou Gun, Yin Hand Form.

After watching all different staff technics it's easy to conclude the Shaolin one looks the most practical. Every time I see staff spinning like propeller in a fingers of practitioner it looks as a joke. No more than show off. In Shifu Yan Xin hands the staff looks like a weapon.
