What has Las Vegas in common with Munich?
The Hofbräuhaus -- the most original copy of the original is located right in the desert of Las Vegas (www.hofbrauhaus.... But what's the reason for Markus Soeder, Bavaria's state minister of finance, regional development and regional identity (www.stmf.bayern...) to makes his first visit?
The Hofbräu brewery belongs to the state of Bavaria and the revenue goes directly in his national budget. So it was a good reason for Markus Soeder to make a short stop on his trip to the American West here in Las Vegas to bring his congratulations for the 10th anniversary of the Hofbräuhaus here.
No wonder he was invited for a ceremony with keg tapping where also other Bavarian imports participated.
With targeted strokes and no spilling of any valuable content -- we hear: "Ozapft is"
Accompanied by traditional music the finest Hofbräu beer imported from Munich was raised for a first toast.

So it looks like the Hofbräuhaus is an oasis in the desert with Bavarian sovereign rights.
And the plaque presented from Mark Soeder for the Hofbräuhaus' 10-years run may certify this for all future guest.
The world known magician Siegfried joining the ceremony was impressed.

But he also came to the focus of Markus Soeder's job:
After cheering for the Bavarian "Gemütlichkeit" a delicious German lunch was served and Markus Soeder shared some news with his guest at the table. The first result out of his recent conferences with important US-based major IT enterprises at the West Coast for the quick development of Bavaria's fast Internet connections for all regions is the new top level domain: ".BAYERN"
