I love your video so much. The thumbnail and your outfits are just great. Great music in the editing. And I was (and still am) SO excited for the game. I think I'm even more excited now. My favorite thing so far? Ramping up the dials to 11. This is actually the first time I've seen more of the game than the cover, the money and the dials and it looks amazing. I love Devir productions. The candy mechanism is great. Well... it's accurate and ... nicely sugar-coated 😂 I'll definitely get this game in Essen if I can. I want it. I need it. My favorite "rockstar" memory... Two friends of mine and I went to a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert once and to a bar afterwards. An hour or so later the bar was almost empty and they were about to close when Flea, RHCP's bass player came in with some of his people and invited us to stay. I got home at 7 in the morning... at least that's what I think.😂
@Skyrodin that's brilliant ! They do indeed "sugarcoat" a few bits of the rock and roll life style (now wish we had thought of that joke!) It's due to be released at GEN Con so there will be lots of coverage coming up, and even a promo player card of the designer for the first lucky folk who get their hands on it!

Great overview and you just killed at the end! One small tip: there's a protective coating on the facing side of the acrylic standees. I didn't notice it at first and was like "oh, no -- Devir did the standees backwards!" Nope -- they didn't. You just need to work it the coating off. Same for the standee bases.
Thanks for the tip! We had noticed that, but as this a pre-production copy and belongs to Thames and Kosmos UK we thought best to leave it there. But we are very excited to peel those off once our copy arrives 😀
So pleased we have made a video worthy of your amazing game, would love to hear your tips. Do you knock back the BonBons when you play or avoid damage to your teeth? Do you have a favourite character and manager combo, or do you only play yourself with your promo character ?
@@BoxedMeeplesI’ve been playing without changing a thing but haven’t played myself much as everyone else wants to. Oh and you can work before playing a gig (just assume your boss is cool for once and lets you off early). You just can’t work twice per round or play two gigs in one night but you can use candy to rehearse or work or do an anytime action with either work and/ or rehearsing as long as you have extra actions

As for funny music stories (can think of a few, but most I probably can't repeat on here - I used to work in a theatre box office as a Supervisor), I went camping at D(r)ownload Festival 2019 and it pretty much didn't stop raining the whole time. The campsite was an unpleasant mudbath, (some people didn't even bring wellies), but a few of us decided to go to the silent disco in the village on the 2nd evening. We had to walk down and queue on a slight slope to get in, but all of a sudden this random extremely drunk person came sliding down the hill head first past us, got up and then started celebrating ... they were absolutely caked in mud (hair, face, clothes) and didn't have a care in the world.
Hahaha the joys of a muddy festival! A Festival is a great theme for a board game, one came out a couple of years ago called Come Together- have you played it?
I want Candy!! As Jackie Fox is the designer surely they are Foxes Glacier Mints or Foxes Fruits. I’m more partial to a Rhubarb & Custard or Sherbet Lemon myself. I’m sure Jackie won’t mind if I use my candy of choice whilst playing. Can’t wait to get hold of a copy of this game!!!
Jackie herself if partial to Justin's super dark chocolate organic peanut butter cups. But I think your candy would work better during the game and I will definitely be using actual candy next time I have people over to play the game.

@@bracketslisa clearly a bowl of sherberts or Jelly Tots to the side of the player boards are required when playing!
