Oh my goodness, I saw this so I had to watch it and all the wonderful memories I have of Wells came flooding back. My favourite seaside resort then and now.
I was born and bred in London but my Nan was from Wymondham, which they settled in when Grandad retired.
My only holiday was with mum and dad to stay with dads parents in Wymondham and see Norfolk by train or by bus.
I remember visiting Wells by train every year, the last being in 1964 when I was eight years old.
No harbour railway then, we all had to walk all the way to the lifeboat station, well worth it.
Fondest part was where the water gathered when the tide went out, large deep pools of very warm water heated by the sun, it was bliss.
Loved seeing the MTB in the harbour, dad served on them during WWII.
On top of that you could not pick better music than from Vaughan Williams.
    Thankyou.

Lovely to see Wells’ streets and pavements without a thick covering of anthracite Range Rovers.
Honestly, there are other types of car than just grey high-end SUVs.
