So basically what I got from this was "how to every American fighter ever":
Step 1: Minimum fuel
Step 2: Side climb
Step 3: Choose enemy
Step 4: Dive
Step 5: ???
Step 6: Profit
Step 7: Climb some more
Step 8: Repeat steps 3-7 while keeping speed up.
I've had mixed results with this.

There isn't a single strategy that works everytime lots of things in war thunder are improvisations
Don't dive (or climb) steep in US planes, as a general rule. Keep your speed up and don't use it all for one dive. Think of them as endurance runners, while German and Japanese aircraft are sprinters. They don't start or stop very fast (read: accelerate), but once they get going the only thing that can touch them is Lady Luck.

if you can, work with a teammate that also has a p47. reason 1, if you dive and miss your target, your teammate can kill him easily. reason 2, if you got someone on your tail, fly towards your teammate and he has an easy kill.

Not even going to mention the airbrake? smh.
Basically the only reason why you might get this plane, otherwise you might as well stick with the P-47 D-28.

Other than that there's really no point in buying this
I need airbrakes lol, German prop fighters never have any, and I tend to do something where I make my plane stall early so I can dive after an enemy instantly after I stall them out, I basically kill my engine and reduce throttle to zero, airbrakes would speed everything up but the damn 109's never have any
Basically just climb to space on maps where ticket bleed favors the americans.

And its also to mention that MEC is highly recommended with the P-47M. 100% Propeller Pitch, 82% Mixture and around 50% Coolers.
How do i have those setups where is that at in the options
@@ronburrelljr7077 Go into the Keyboard settings and to the Full realistic Option. So you can Set the settings. Or come to the War Thunder weekly discord Server and PM me. So i can give you full Instructions to MEC
@@ronburrelljr7077 theorangedoom made a great guide for MEC setup back in the day. Its a couple of years old. I would say that its really not necessary for that extra complication if you are a good enough player and know how to manage your energy and engine temp.... But go ahead and watch his guide.
don't do 100% prop pitch! it just overheats your engine faster with zero performance improvement in most situations on M model. AdamTheEnginerd just made a new video on this plane and his MEC settings in the description are 85% prop pitch, 90% mixture, and 0% (yes, zero!) radiators.

1) bring up the scoreboard before you spawn
2) see a team full of bombers, attackers, and fighters with ground ordinance
3) return to hangar and switch nation to axis

If I had the P47M, I'd fly it like this;
climb very slightly to the side of the enemy climb path
if there's a 109 K4 above me, I can just turn around and do a slight climb to a high alt where the P47M trumps over the K4
OR
Do a shallow dive
the slight climb idea might be risky though; although from what I've heard, the P47M should technically reach 6000m at about the same time as the K4 and so the climb thing might be viable AS LONG AS I have a bunch of speed

The tracers got nerfed hard. They don’t cause fires as consistently as they used to and AP ammo does more module damage and still causes fires pretty often.

In Arcade, Side or Snap Climb really fast. DO NOT GET DECIVISELY COMMITTED TO ANY ENGAGEMENT. Yes, even the stall/baiting climbing moron in the center of the battle. If something gets in your way press the right mouse button. Don't turn, Don't Dive into furballs, Don't become an astrounaut, pick off unescorted bombers/attackers. P47s in general are the Easy Buttons of Arcade Mode the unladded P-47m with good energy only need worry about another P-47m with a WEP jump. Or the unlucky longrange rng pilot snipe.
