    How do you apply the flowers to the cake? Do you cover the floral tape with something food safe? Thank you for the tutorial, I'm going to be making my first gum paste flowers soon!

    • @dulcedulce98
      @dulcedulce98  3 года назад +1

      To insert the flowers into a cake you first have to make sure that the wire stem is completely covered with the floral tape, then you use flower pics which are inserted into the cake first and then you insert your flower into the pic, or you can also use a straw instead of the pic and follow the same procedure. The pic/ straw is what forms the barrier between the wire and the cake. I’ll make a video on this topic soon so I can explain it better 😃 hope this helps and let me know how your flower making goes! 😊

    Hi, thank you for this tutorial! How can I make the same flower but smaller?

    • @dulcedulce98
      @dulcedulce98  4 года назад

      Hi! I’m glad you liked the tutorial, if you want to make a smaller version you just need smaller size cutters for the petals and to size down the center. The flower making process stays the same 😊

    What is the drying time for the petals?

    • @dulcedulce98
      @dulcedulce98  3 года назад

      Hi! I recommend that you dry your petals overnight so they have enough time to completely harden😊

    Is it possible to eat

    • @dulcedulce98
      @dulcedulce98  4 года назад +1

      Gumpaste is edible, but since it has wires and is pretty hard once it dries I wouldn’t really recommend eating it. It’s mostly just used for decoration.
