I am not a truck person per se and I don't know that I will ever buy a truck, but seeing this thing in real life is mind-blowing to me. It's got the shape of a truck, but is massively scaled in all directions. It looks like you have to feed it other smaller trucks to keep it nourished.
these ones can be business tax writeoffs so it doesn't hurt as bad if you're not a consumer... i have no clue how they're selling the smaller ones though - the new Ram Tungsten coming out is over 90k and the top of the line new Tacoma they just released is 66k... who tf is buying those!?
You need a stepladder to get into it. But it is a great truck and serves a purpose for heavy pulling and doing it safely. I see so many 1/2 ton trucks pulling things that are beyond their limits. Yes, this truck is pricey but you can option it lower. You will save lives by buying this truck and not overloading your little truck.
GMs grays are infinitely better. $104k and why Ford insists on advertising to the world that their trucks have a $495 FX4 option is beyond me. Why not put a fifth wheel prep sticker on it😆
JB, I thought that light above the back license plate in the rear was for the bed scale. I might be wrong, but I thought that was an indicator light for weight in the bed.
I'm terms of bang for your buck, I'd buy this before laying down the same money for a new RAM! For the money, Ford is offering a lot more in their HD's than the outdated RAM.
GM is offering best value right now. RAM is discounting a lot, but their msrp skyrocketed the most. Ford is in a weird spot in the middle. If me right now, I go GM, Ford, then Ram. U decide whether Chevy HC or GMC Denali or Ultimate are your flavor. HC is by far best value.
Explain to me why there is no locker on this F450.... @8:39 or so you say you cant get lockers. Is it the platinum only. I thought the 450 came with lockers.
New color… back in the day I had 1998 Ranger that color, it was so nice, and then that color looked dated and in the last few years they are coming back.
Couple, questions, does the FX4 package on the 2024 Limited F450 remove the G rated Continental tires? I know they are the "traction" tires but does that take away from the long distance driving/ make it worse? And lastly, is adding air bag suspension overkill since the leafs on this truck are already more the sufficient? Thank you for your response in advance.
Do truck stops have gasoline pumps in the diesel area? I own a 2023 F350 with the Godzilla gas engine. We plan on traveling with our new Brinkley 5th wheel Z3100 camper. My concern is maneuvering my truck and 5th wheel camper near the gasoline pumps with the cars. Obviously the area for large commercial truck and large camper rigs have more maneuvering room.
But…a GMC ZR2 2500…is about the same price… fk a color..plot twist….literally what is cost difference between..25,35,45..for that input a 1500😂 leafs for days…Trucks are done..been a fan for years…but justification of 100k for any payload in commuter configuration…is Done🤷♂️
GM was behind in interior, they now lead. Only a matter of time before Ford goes back out in front. 2015 to 2023 Ford was better interiors in HD trucks IMHO. New GM HD interior is crazy nice. This Ford looks like our Ford Expedition Platinum Max. Ford needs and inside update. Lots don’t like the 2024 ford front end…
Terrible color. I hate the “wet cement” colors. And now this pinkish blueish grayish wet cement ish. It’s spiraling downhill fast. High end trucks need to look handsome not like it’s been wrapped and missing some boat company logo or lane service logo. Just my opinion. Hell ppl must love the wet cement look cuz all manufacturers are doing that same color and ppl are gobbling them up. Gotta have to latest color ppl!! Keep Keeping up with the jones’
The F450 keeps getting heavier and losing payload capacity but that wide track front axle is so nice to have!
Plus a $30k price bump for the Platinum, since 2020.

I have a 2013 Ford F-450 Platinum I purchased new. It is still going strong. I paid 79 thousand. A new one line mine is over 120K.
A sunroof should never be standard on any trim level. You want one you order it.

Why would pay over $100,000 for a truck painted in primer gray? Who came up with the current colors for vehicles?
