Played in beta, played launch week and gave up. Always wanted to return but was dubious. Show pushed me over the edge, 240 hours since the show and addicted to that and this channel.
Tenderizer has always seemed better for events as well, I assume it makes the enemy take more damage from all sources, but I could be wrong, either way great card

My son got me hooked on this game recently as he wanted his buddy to join him. I also became aware of your channel and really appreciate the guidance for newbies like me. I am stumbling my way through an unfamiliar control system especially when it revolves around social communication within the game. A few players have been really nice, one even donating weapons, ammo etc. to give me a boost. Now how's that for promoting the game! Question, is there benefit for having 100s of levels above 50. I mean where is the "sweet" spot for levels if there is one?
Hey, bro. The benefit for leveling above 50 is accessing legendary perks. You'll unlock them at level 50, 75, 100, 150, 200 and 300. Also with all the extra level ups you can make multiple builds and switch them via the special machine. Once you have your builds figured out you can focus on upgrading your legendary cards. You upgrade them with legendary perk points. You get legendary perk points through scrapping regular cards. Hope this helps
As the other commentor said, past lvl 50 youll gain slot for legendary perks! These are present in the tab ABOVE your perk cards. These perks have drastic benefits for bonus SPECIAL stats, lockpicking/hacking, crafting, etc. That you can level up by scrapping unused perl cards. I personally run bonuses to strength and agility (for a total of 15 each) and then bonuses to lockpicking/hackig so I dont need to run those respective perk cards. There are other fun effects in there as well! Some are less powerful than others, but all are useful.
Beyond lvl 50 you're chasing Legendary Perk cards which is an absolute must to add higher points to your SPECIAL. It makes a huge difference allowing you to add specific legendary perks or 5 every points to each SPECIAL category. With the 5 extra points per category you can add more perk cards or rank up the ones you want. From lvl 400 there's really nowhere else to go except experiment with different builds, which is a lot of fun. Enjoy the game👍😊
Just about level 150. And I still find myself running to youtube to help me understand. Finally, I started to experiment with weapons. Gattling gun kinda sucks. Some rifles with too much recoil absolutely suck. And the action point drain... That's what's getting to me at this point. I might just go back to a stealth pistol build and try it with bloodied and explosive bullets. What's your weapon of choice?
@@user-kx2hu4vf1y I run multiple weapons: 50 cal, 2shot hunting rifle...semi auto 2 shot fixer and a furious LMG for boss type foes...the trick for me was learning the perks and having a separate class for crafting etc...
Was running through channels like these at lv 50 on my commando for optimizing my builds and it turns out there's many ways to do this like swapping weight perks and running cards that do more armor pen and crippling instead of just damage boosting so now I have room for perks like Fireproof and Batteries Included
I run a melee build usually and I've learned having an automatic weapon like the chainsaw with of all things, tick blood margaritas that give health back per attack You can see where this is going ♡ now if I could somehow roll both vampire AND armor penetration as effects on it, I'd essentially become borderline immortal
Hot Tip! AutoMelee weapons ALWAYS deal power attack dmg, so it can take advantage of perks and upgrades that buff that damage! If yoj allread know this, I hope someone who doesmt reads this!
And here i am... been playing since release on and off for the past... what 7 years? Feeling like some old grandpa watching all these new players enter the game and try to figure all this out...
My damage numbers were better at level 20 I'm 100 now and no matter what I use I'm sitting firing into it for ages when other players are coming by and two tapping almost everything.
Not a perk card but I happened upon adrenal reaction and egg head for 1k caps at a shop and then and I'm really excited about this one someone was selling a quad railway rifle for 300 caps so I got pretty lucky haha considering the ones ive seen in shops go for almost 20k
I learned yesterday that instead of wearing a nuclear power exoskeleton and carrying an anti aircraft machine gun, that all I need to do to excel is wear basic armor and carry a hammer.:/ Something needs to be rebalanced.
Only question I keep meaning to ask is, do you have to have all three cards of a type to get full benefit, I.e., Commando, expert commando and master commando, or can you just have master commando and not lose anything? So many cards, when doing a build want to ensure I’m not carrying cards I don’t actually need to have.
Keep in mind, a full level of all 3 is 20% each so that equals 60%. So having all leveled up will be optimal, but just having each at level 1 is half of that, at 30%. So 1 each at level 1 is better than just 1 perk card at full level, but if you want to maximize damage for a specific weapon, go all out and have all of them at full level. It all depends on if you want the full amount of damage, or just enough to be better than base. With one method, you can utilize boosting up every weapon to 30% or specialize in 1 weapon but be better with it than others.

Couple more and a note to gun-fu: 1) Started to try (rank 3) gun-fu yesterday - on earl its a significant improvement to kill time (wendigo => wendigo => Earl) - if the wendigos line up correctly for the target swaps 2) Strange in numbers => If you have any damage mutations this further increases your damage 3) Auto-reload luck perk increases dps, if not damage dpb 4) The "less mutation negatives" perk gives you more strength => letting you deal more damage with melee weapons if you have any -str mutations 5) Anything that gives SPECIAL Points in STR (i.e. radicool) boosts melee damage.

Because I'm a bloodied heavy gunner build (ik weird idk of I should be full or low health still tryna figure it out) and I do good damage but get one shot if I take any type of damage. And I've seen videos of people taking infinite damage as bloodied builds too.
@@kirbyrocks2322 then you’re gonna need these things to start tanking: - Emergency protocols mod (-50% dmg taken and +25% speed when below 20% health) on the PA you are using - Try to roll for at least a full set of 1* Overeaters PA - If you can afford it invest into rank 2 of the Legendary Perk Funky duds or invest into the Union PA which has default Rank 2 Funky Duds on it (FD at rank 2 gives 100 def on poison which at that number pretty much negates most of poison dmg that high level enemies use, like the Mirelurk Queen) - Blocker Perk card in the Strength Stat helps with enemies that get close to you - just the first rank of Born Survivor in Agility will help in healing you when you lose health (it automatically uses a stim when below 20% health) - Dodgy in Agility lets you avoid 30% dmg per 30 points of stamina, note that it doesn’t need exactly 30, so long as you have even 1 point of stamina left it will use it up and avoid 30% dmg (don’t use of your build needs stamina to use like a PA Vats build or using the Auto Axe) - Suppressor in Charisma makes the enemy you damage do 30% less dmg overall - the Bloodied build staple helps in mitigating dmg, it’s called Nerd Rage in Intelligence - Fireproof in Endurance helps with Fire damaging enemies
I would recommend starting out as a full health and not bothering with transitioning to bloodied until much later as it requires lots of points to squeeze in all the necessary resistance perk cards, legendary perks, mutations and resistance rolls on armor pieces, necessary to make the bloodied build work properly. You need Blocker into Strenght, Life giver and Fireproof into Endurance, Nerd rage into Intelligence, Ricochet into Luck, Born survivor, Suppressor and Dodgy are all good additions. To fit them all in on top of your damage boost, qol and mutations boost perk cards, you will need to max out at least a couple of Legendary perks such as Luck, Intelligence or Endurance. Get the Energy absorption legendary perk, Funky duds and Sizzling style are interchangeable, depending on the resist rolls on your armors, Power armor reboot is also nice. Mutations, Adrenal reaction, Scaly skin are must have, Empath works very well if you have another Empath user in your team to mitigate the downside or if you have the serums recipe and just chug serums.. Overeater rolls on the PA of your choice is nice, along with the perfect bubble gums from bullion vendors to make it work. A good Vampire roll on your weapon also helps a lot. At around lvl 300+ is when you could achieve all of this and set the build in motion properly. You could run it earlier, but you'll be glass cannon and get one hit at random times. Besides, you don't really need that high of a damage, unless you solo the world bosses or the daily ops. Have at least Blocker, Life giver and Ricochet squeezed in with Energy absorption and Funky duds, but not running a maxed out Intelligence with Inspirational at this point you will level up slower. All those bloodied builds we see in video guides, it's not something they accomplished over night, it took a bit of time and most of them also warn us that it's an end game build, not a beginner build. I think I covered most of it and I hope this helps.
I don't believe the energy perks work with the bow and arrow and crossbow also do you know how to reload faster I've only found speed demon to do that.?

Its been over 2 weeks now my s.c.o.r.e. has not moved, only on daily's that's it and even then the last one that gives you the most dose not register. Put a ticket in to bethesda but im not getting y hopes up since its been so long and no one has even looked at it or even given me an answer, never mind the amount the game crashes i done so many Atlantic citys i got the autoaxe for 500 stamps plus some mods for it and a trog tube but the s.c.o.r.e. did not budged also i just noticed is that all of my photos and screen i have taken have disappeared, so every single one i have taken and saved in the gallery have gone terrible !!!
Hello I use basher. I use it for the musket with a bayonet. When I shoot and have to wait for that really long reload I just start stabbing everything with the bayonet. It's so strong and quick enough it basically feels like a melee weapon and it's super fun to use. :)

my biggest issue is AP, ill drink some coffee and I do have action boy equipped but after like shooting 4-5 bullets my stamina is completely out, any work around?

Does 76 have a weekend vendor outside of the mall entrance? There was a vendor selling the plans for the plasma caster yesterday for gold. Then the mall was nuked, After that the vendor was gone
That's Minerva, the gold bullion vender. She's only around for like 2 day's a week. She has 4 locations she set's up at. The 4 location's are Foundation, Crater, Fort Atlas and The Whitespring Resort. Here inventory change's with each sell. She will be at Foundation May 27-May 29 next.

I usually use Rank 1 in the weapon cards, like Commando and etc. Allows me to wide spread my perks so I can use a wide variety instead of just, everything being used up by rank 3 cards. Like currently I'm running melee due to really enjoying the auto axe. So I have Barbarian, all sluggers rank 1, blocker, incisor and martial artist in the strength tree. Then all 3 science cards, adrenaline, gun fu, bloody mess and ricochet.
Gun Fu is a convenience perk and is pretty good if you don’t want to keep going out of VATs after every kill. Going into VATs does come with a small AP cost and if you’re going to be using VATs a lot, why wouldn’t you use it is all I have to ask. It’s not high on the priority list and if it goes to a target that you can’t immediately hit at least you know where something is at anyway. Best use is when all the mobs are out in the open where the rapid acquisition for VATs means more rapid take downs and there’s plenty of that happening. Not a high priority but still worth taking. It’s even better with Grim Reaper Sprint so you can get your AP back even faster. Underrated perk in my opinion and I wouldn’t sit on it even though it can be a bit inconvenient.

Tenderizer is slept on. It's one of the few perks that is multiplicative and not addictive damage. It's SO much stronger then cards like bloody mess.

Adrenaline is 30 seconds, the status just reads Less Than 1 minute (

I do like to run the commando perks but all 1 star to save space and be a little more well rounded

With a quad legendary prefix. Roll your own if lucky, have one drop for you or buy/trade from another player.

Basher used to be way more useful with the minigun shredder, until they added stamina drain from using it like that.

Science cards don't affect any heavy weapon.

Get the Energy absorption legendary perk, Funky duds and Sizzling style are interchangeable, depending on the resist rolls on your armors, Power armor reboot is also nice. Mutations, Adrenal reaction, Scaly skin are must have, Empath works very well if you have another Empath user in your team to mitigate the downside or if you have the serums recipe and just chug serums.. Overeater rolls on the PA of your choice is nice, along with the perfect bubble gums from bullion vendors to make it work. A good Vampire roll on your weapon also helps a lot. At around lvl 300+ is when you could achieve all of this and set the build in motion properly. You could run it earlier, but you'll be glass cannon and get one hit at random times. Besides, you don't really need that high of a damage, unless you solo the world bosses or the daily ops. Have at least Blocker, Life giver and Ricochet squeezed in with Energy absorption and Funky duds, but not running a maxed out Intelligence with Inspirational at this point you will level up slower. All those bloodied builds we see in video guides, it's not something they accomplished over night, it took a bit of time and most of them also warn us that it's an end game build, not a beginner build. I think I covered most of it and I hope this helps.

I don't believe the energy perks work with the bow and arrow and crossbow also do you know how to reload faster I've only found speed demon to do that.?

craft them at a tinker bench then walk up to the display and click transfer

Its been over 2 weeks now my s.c.o.r.e. has not moved, only on daily's that's it and even then the last one that gives you the most dose not register.

Hello I use basher. I use it for the musket with a bayonet. When I shoot and have to wait for that really long reload I just start stabbing everything with the bayonet. It's so strong and quick enough it basically feels like a melee weapon and it's super fun to use. :)

my biggest issue is AP, ill drink some coffee and I do have action boy equipped but after like shooting 4-5 bullets my stamina is completely out, any work around?

Thanks for your work. I do want to just say that heavy guns perk applies to many weapons as opposed to other weapon type cards that apply to fewer specific builds

Does 76 have a weekend vendor outside of the mall entrance? There was a vendor selling the plans for the plasma caster yesterday for gold. Then the mall was nuked, After that the vendor was gone
That's Minerva, the gold bullion vender. She's only around for like 2 day's a week. She has 4 locations she set's up at. The 4 location's are Foundation, Crater, Fort Atlas and The Whitespring Resort. Here inventory change's with each sell. She will be at Foundation May 27-May 29 next.

I usually use Rank 1 in the weapon cards, like Commando and etc. Allows me to wide spread my perks so I can use a wide variety instead of just, everything being used up by rank 3 cards. Like currently I'm running melee due to really enjoying the auto axe. So I have Barbarian, all sluggers rank 1, blocker, incisor and martial artist in the strength tree. Then all 3 science cards, adrenaline, gun fu, bloody mess and ricochet.

@@seanbolster7603 when using auto axes with the electrified mod, yea, it increases the damage of it. Was a recent change I think a month or two back.
Gun Fu is a convenience perk and is pretty good if you don’t want to keep going out of VATs after every kill. Going into VATs does come with a small AP cost and if you’re going to be using VATs a lot, why wouldn’t you use it is all I have to ask. It’s not high on the priority list and if it goes to a target that you can’t immediately hit at least you know where something is at anyway. Best use is when all the mobs are out in the open where the rapid acquisition for VATs means more rapid take downs and there’s plenty of that happening. Not a high priority but still worth taking. It’s even better with Grim Reaper Sprint so you can get your AP back even faster. Underrated perk in my opinion and I wouldn’t sit on it even though it can be a bit inconvenient.
