Awesome build, and the whole point of a ratrod is to express what ever you want, so, put whatever wheels/tires you want! Great work! BTW: More engine music less radio music.
***** Most logical comment in the whole section! :) *I agree brother, I personally think the wheels make it look unique while still staying mean looking.* HOWEVER, if the spokes were just a little thicker (so you couldn't see straight through them) that would make it look meatier, or tougher. (What I mean is it looks "delicate" with those skinny wheels, and a rat rod should be anything but _delicate lol!)
This is my dream car. I remember reading about it when the original builder had it featured in a magazine years ago. He said he would never sell it because of certain parts he used that went into the build. A few years later I’m on you tube and see some kid driving it.
i saw this ratty in the Denver rod and custom show at the convention center. the way it built is very unique. The rear suspension is something like ive never quite seen before, the air controls are hidden, a lot of time and effort went into this thing making it stand out. the car is beautiful and seeing it drive is truly something else. When i saw the car the only thing i wondered is how someone actually fits in it. I am over 6' and cant father how i would even fit in this! my hats off 2 u
The point of a rat is using as little money as possible to make something cool. Hell thats pretty much the definition. So throwing a set of thousand dollar rims on there doesnt make it "new school." coupled with the airbag suspension and a few other things I saw, it makes it NOT a rat
That is partly true but, the point of hot rods, street rods and customs is, always to make your own changes to that definition in a way that suits you;the owner or creator. I partly agree that, that sometimes means creating something so new; it can't be properly named. O-well! I am glad that is true as well.
Charles st. hill Really though the only thing rat about it is the body. Its a nice rod but to clarify it as a rat would be like classifying a Bugati as a budget car.
+Robert Palmer So did you miss all the custom metal chassis components, and air ride suspension? Probably the only old part of it is the engine block and the cab... moron.
sic ride brother. the glossy engine & wheels.....the rust......the wicked air ride controls you fabbed on the dash..... car has a wicked Steampunk feel to it. LUV IT!
I am indeed impressed, stands out from the crowd, in a good way! i work with metal for a living an am very impressed with how u did the tail end! great job, ( and i like the rims )
Brilliant. Where can we see more of this great machine? Forward, eclectic, rocket science with a pair of channel locks. You a builder mate! And hey, I remember the fooking fifties, those guys would have used everything you did were it available. Bravo.
I think the sleek hi-tech rims make a sharp contrast with the rest of the car, i.e. the rust. Don't quite like the music score, but the video is definitely top notch, as is this beautiful piece of machinery. Great attention to details, a lot of thinking. This certainly stands off the pack.
Cool.. i like the plumbing to the bags. A little more work, but you shouldnt have to worry about leaks ever. I'd love to maybe someday hard plumb everything in my car and do away with all the plastic tubing.
Awesome. I loved every inch of the fab work. I'm from Grand Junction too. My wife said: "You know where that is, right?" I said no. She said: "Do you know how many times we've driven there and done it?"
I must have missed the "TRUCK" in this video. I saw a CAB but NO BED TO TOT means NO TRUCK "to me". Looks like your a mini trucker going rat, nice build. Like the creativity. Looks ....like you like it, so heck, means I like it if you DRIVE it.
This would be such a sick build if you ditched those billet wheels and picked up some rusty wiries from the wrecking yard, this is like having rusty steelies on a clean subaru. The fuck were you huffing. Much respect about everything else tho, especially the bag setup and pullchain switches and plumbing job in the cab shits sick
Love the rat and the airbags and although I like the wheels I find them to be so out of place. The valve covers are the only other gloss black pieces on the vehicle. I think flat black would've been a better choice for the wheels and the valve covers. Nice work though! It really shows that you put a lot of time and effort into the design.
Nice editing and perspective camera angles.Loved the oversized watts links on the axles. Not a fan of the wheels. This is your ride, your artistic statement. Rod builds are an exersise in personal artistic freedom. A reflection of the designer and builder. I loved the interior and would like to see more of it. Keep building, it is your art.
Cool car but shut the fucking music. That V8 is enough
Awesome build, and the whole point of a ratrod is to express what ever you want, so, put whatever wheels/tires you want! Great work! BTW: More engine music less radio music.

Switch im not justin biener bitch

WHYYYYY do people insist on putting music over videos like this :(
no shit! i wouldve liked to hear it run not that retarded assed music
let us hear the music coming from the engine am I right?
Ducati NYC Vlog fuckin korn 🤘
Lane Manner hey dumb ass korn DA 🤘
Because their intelligence is like the cars they build.....rubbish!

I never thought id like a rat with huge wheels like that.... it totally works. Very kool ride bro.
I like the mix of old school looks and build alongside the new modern wheels and air ride...Groovy!
So a regular rat rod with shitty wheels makes it "new school"?
+Robert Palmer So did you miss all the custom metal chassis components, and air ride suspension? Probably the only old part of it is the engine block and the cab... moron.
+Robert Palmer OH YEAH LETS JUST IGNORE THE 8 THROTTLE BODIES, AIR RIDE SUSPENSION, AND THE NEW WHEELS (which are not shitty, ya Prius driving fool).
There’s nothing regular about it. Do some research on the build.
TURN OFF THE
FUCKING MUSIC
P L E A S E
the airbags are such a nice touch, cant believe this is the first time I've ever seen a rat rod with them, smart man haha
One in a million.... Ur an inspiration to evolution of cross breeding styles. cant wait for Itailian Interior and Lowrider paint.
It would be great to actually hear the car instead of some crap noise.
Hated the music, but enjoyed the view, cheers
This is definately, hands down, the BADDEST rat rod I've ever seen. Nice job!!
the hard lined bags, the nittos, the black engine. super clean bro
Not diggin the rims
So the crap computer music makes it new skool?
hahaha computer music lmfao
Its your car, build it how you want. I think its a rolling piece of art and you did a killer job on it.
True Art in our own hotrod world, which many do not understand. Congrats.
Ditch the wheels and crappy music then it's sick! Lol
Good rat rod, bad wheels and music
Amen !
No Jokes wheels and music was good dumbass
sabruhbruhz that guitar dude We would rather have the engine roar of a rat rod and ratty wheels than deafening electronic music and hipster wheels.
No Jokes wheels were badass music wasnt necessary it was good tho it would have been good if it had some scenes with engine sound tho
sic ride brother.
the glossy engine & wheels.....the rust......the wicked air ride controls you fabbed on the dash.....
car has a wicked Steampunk feel to it.
LUV IT!
Lot of hard work in this ride, very nice! Bet it keeps you smiling when you driving it and thats all that matters.
WHAT BULL SHIT MUSIC
Why do you have this stupid music, i want to hear the engine
Because the guy is stupid. Asked & answered!
The perfect mix of high tech and cool dreck. Really cool.
I am indeed impressed, stands out from the crowd, in a good way! i work with metal for a living an am very impressed with how u did the tail end! great job, ( and i like the rims )
Worse music ever!
great job man, love all the blacked out crome, gives it an attitude like no other!
thats gotta be the most awsome car ive ever seen ! mad props to the builder !
nice car, really like the contrast between the shiny engine and the rusty headers!
These cars are in my opinion more unique then a nice clean hot rod, good job man i like it
I'm not a big rat rod fan , but this thing is freaking cool !
Absolutely breath taken. Well done good sir!
bad ass man! props to the copper air lines to the bags too. trick!
One sick ride an I like how you went with copper lines instead of the airlines the ppl give u it stays with the rat feel of the car
Very Impressive welding and fabrication. Noticed the Medicine Wheel on the dash also.
Piece of art... Interior is super creative
Brilliant. Where can we see more of this great machine? Forward, eclectic, rocket science with a pair of channel locks. You a builder mate! And hey, I remember the fooking fifties, those guys would have used everything you did were it available. Bravo.
The air lines are gorgeus...couldnt have done it better, congrats
Almost a steampunk rat rod. That car is wicked badass!
I think the sleek hi-tech rims make a sharp contrast with the rest of the car, i.e. the rust.
Don't quite like the music score, but the video is definitely top notch, as is this beautiful piece of machinery. Great attention to details, a lot of thinking. This certainly stands off the pack.
the frame work is amazing !!!! and copper air lines give it a stand along look
WAY to keep the art alive cheers to you brother
This car is sick, I almost bought a magazine just because of the steam punk air ride setup. Dope!
Absolutely love this truck very well done. love the new take on an old idea!!!!!!
Keep up the good work
Nice editing, awesome ride... Congrats on both.
Muito top seu carro e já vir esse vídeo umas 10vezes e uma inspiração pra mim não dezeste de construí um hot hod tbm 👍
Saw that thing right out side of junction you were towing it with a nasty matte brown d-max love your style man the truck and the rat rod
Not usually a fan of billet rims on a rat, but in this case, they work. Cool car.
thats beautiful!!!! i love the copper piping to suspention
Sick! I've been around Rat Rods for a while and this one is one of the best I've seen. Good job on the build & the video.
It's called a rat Rod that's how it's suppose to look like..this car is sick..great job
great song too...and awesome ride
Cool.. i like the plumbing to the bags. A little more work, but you shouldnt have to worry about leaks ever. I'd love to maybe someday hard plumb everything in my car and do away with all the plastic tubing.
Nice vid man!! I really enjoyed the shot following the wheel! You may have some to learn but you're not far off. The rat is ace too!
Definitely exceptional craftsmanship! I love it... Going in my favorites.
Awesome. I loved every inch of the fab work. I'm from Grand Junction too. My wife said: "You know where that is, right?" I said no. She said: "Do you know how many times we've driven there and done it?"
nice ride glad i got to see it in person
Nice rod. I love the copper lines. Looks awesome.
I have the same trailer, btw. Never seen another one!
"New skool rat rod" I think it looks sick!
the best part about this rod is the bullets casings in the floor. i love how its covered in glass.
One. sick. ass. ride. man. great job bud, A+ for creativity
That was amazing. Dude, U got one hell of a truck
That's a seriously beautiful machine. It's stance, it's rat, and the editing was pretty good for a first go. Props man.

You rock!
Your killing it! take them damn RIMS OFF!!!!
That is insane. Beautiful ride!
Lo mejor en reconstrucción y modificación suerte de su amigo pepe trocas
I love the way this car says "Fuck ALL" by just sitting there
I must have missed the "TRUCK" in this video. I saw a CAB but NO BED TO TOT means NO TRUCK "to me". Looks like your a mini trucker going rat, nice build. Like the creativity. Looks ....like you like it, so heck, means I like it if you DRIVE it.
Looks like some people don't know what rat rods are about ~ this ride is sick
a badass rod!!! video is superb for a first time, lovin the suspension setup as well as the lack of everything else!! original badass rod defo :-)
Never did care much for "skool"...
Some nice workmanship I must admit.
This is a work of art! Love it
A very well put together video. Pretty damn good for the first one. AWESOME. I love the whole CONCEPT! Great choice in music also. Thanks
Very unique ride though. Props for doing something different.
Nah man those black chrome rims look great! Bring a nice modern touch to the rat look.
Love the suspension, way to think outside the bun!
Great car, great music track. It's all rat - forward. Would love to see and hear you smoke thems wheels, though.
Love this car..it is truly a work of art! Good job!
Pretty tech'ed out!! Very well done.
bad ass!!! i'm doing a 41 plymouth right now and i hope it looks this good. great job.
1:46 Great, 1971's NSU brake drums! Bad-ass sir....
Great video
bro...amazing ride....
Korn is perfect ratrod music! Dark with a certain creepy aspect to it but fucking amazing!
Looking good ! . Through some steelies on there then we're talk'n .
Nails, Billet proof c/c
I love the look. Wheels aren't my style, but it pulls it off. Engine and susp. setup is excellent.
patina on the rims and white walled low profiles and this car would be so badass
man i love stuff like this awesome and creative i will one day learn how to build stuff like this
Great job on the video and the ROD.
pretty sic ride just wish it wasnt so busy on the inside, but to each their own, good job bro!
