If you get any certs after learning the materials, that might help too. Especially if you don't yet have on the job experience. Utilize LinkedIn too. Wish you the best.
Hi! I didn't actually take any courses prior to starting my QA job, but maybe other people who see this comment can help you out with some suggestions!
Hey Sanan, you CAN do things like a basic fundamentals course and that can go a long way in an interview. I teach with Nucamp and I can confirm it's basics. I can say if you grasp the main concepts there, you can learn all you need for Manual QA, but I'd encourage you to pick up the JavaScript pathway on Pluralsight and learn Node.js.

@@abooktolisten2773 you can always apply. Revature is tricky though because they can just try to shove you into whatever training class they have coming up. Obviously they prefer new graduates but if you have any recent bootcamps education or online classes, they will take you too

Do we need to be apologetic when we miss something? If so what’s the best way?
Hello medaline
I am about to finish my diploma in networking in next july/September, I’m not much into coding, i keep watching your videos on testing and i feel that i want to do job in testing field i don’t have any experience in this. Please tell me how to get a job in QA. What are skills required for that.
Do you use Jira to report/track the bugs?
We use Jira to track our different projects and issues, but I use Microsoft Teams to report and track bugs with my team!
What is the difference between manual QA & automation QA??
Great video, I am a Manual QA myself. I have only been in this role for just a little over 8 months. Quick question, which testing software do you use? I know this will differ from company to company. I am only exposed to HP QC
Thank you!!
I'm not actually sure...I don't think I use any software for testing other than specific tools my company built for itself.
Hi! How did you learn how to be a QA ? I’m coming from a teaching job and I wanted to know how icoils teach myself before applying to positions
@@ruthsavon9061 Jira, Testrail, Postman API, basic SQL knowledge. Check out free tutorials on RUclips on each of the ones that I mentioned, reddit is a great resource as well to learn from other people in the field.
If my company uses Jira, should I have a note bug
The note you mentioned is it on paper or on notebook app ?
Hi. Maybe you can give me a few tips to find a job. I'm from Ukraine and in the US it so different
the sad reality is that, automation is now killing our career (manual QAs), i don't have the patience to learn java and such :( but i think i have to.
Hi I was wondering what school or boot camp you attended to learn QA engineering?
Hello, I am new to the world of testers and I would like to start working as a Manual tester. Do you have a site where I can look for work, I appreciate it. Greetings from Cuba
Question: im thinking abt getting into a bootcamp for maybe 3 or 4 months they say, for qa enginner. but… its just a certificate .. u think will be really hard landing a job without no real work exp in a company?.
What program did you take and how long was it
Can you please make a video on this job for women? There is a narrative that this job is boring
Hello Mandeline could you tell me where should i look out for Manual QA boot camp. I see careerist. Are they Good?
What’s the salary expectation for manual qa?
Can you recommend where can I do the training for QA
Thanks so much for your video. I am self-training for a QA career with QA videos on RUclips, Udemy, QA tool websites, Katalon eduction videos, learning codeless automation tools, and anything I can find. How do I show that on a resume for a QA Analyst job? Do I write a cover letter with my QA job desire and that I've self-trained? Thanks.
Hello Hunter, I'm not Madeleine 😅😅 but I think you would be okay just listing the things you have learned in the Objective or skills portions of your resume. If you get any certs after learning the materials, that might help too. Especially if you don't yet have on the job experience. Utilize LinkedIn too. Wish you the best.
How can I develop a network? Is there away you can help?
Do you plan to keep your job when you go back to school?
That will depend on the program I get into and the class schedule!
Hi Madeline, What is the best course for QA testing in the USA?
And one more thing your hair is so nice
Awe thank you!😊
What tools do you use for your manual testing? What tools you recommend to learn?
How to get QA job as a manual Tester???
There are probably lots of ways, but this video explains how I got into my current role! 😊

Any course online for Manual QA ? can´t find any reliable.
JIRA, Testrail, Postman API, RUclips those tutorials, free information everywhere on RUclips.
We must be on the same wavelength! I JUST posted into a Facebook group earlier today asking questions about QA testing! If anyone knows any specific companies looking to hire a beginner QA analyst/tester-- let me know. :)
Also-- I do have some (minimal) coding background with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a little bit of Bootstrap
Did you get any inputs?
Try fdm group , cgi and revature
@@thetruthsayer8347 Do revature require QA? I have always seen them taking developers and with the requirement of being recently graduated
@@abooktolisten2773 you can always apply. Revature is tricky though because they can just try to shove you into whatever training class they have coming up. The only issue with these companies I listed is that they will want you to sign a contract to work for them for some period for less pay. But they can help you get your foot in the doors. Obviously they prefer new graduates but if you have any recent bootcamps education or online classes, they will take you too
I'm 43 years old and want to test video games but I lack the experience skills. ? Been rejected 59 times and counting.? No degree no job. I can't afford anything right now even college too expensive even if was affordable.
Have you got in anywhere? its been 4 months since your comment. Please, do reply.
how much time do you take courses for manual QA?
Are you in a contractor position or it’s full time?
Full time (:
