Spectacular Old town Walk! I’ve never seen this before, great huge historic building structures. Fantastic tour today! Thank you for sharing all this info. ♥️ Greetings from Las Vegas 🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it! Sounds like we have another GOT fan! If you go on the walls of the old town you can see even more locations, including the 'WHERE ARE MY DRAGONS' scene!
Fabulous video guys, so full of useful information, it’s been a great series! I still have Kunas in my travel bag so I need to get them changed!! Looking forward very much to seeing Montenegro with you 🤗
Thanks for touring Croatia with us Helen and so glad to hear you are enjoying the series! We have a couple more Croatia vids to come and then we'll move onto Montenegro for you. Yes, kunas will become a relic very shortly and we made sure to clear the decks before we left!
Hi dear BLT, one of my favorite places in Croatia, the stone floor is so old.I have been there in the fall season, amazing. Sommers can be so hot. It shook when I was there,5.7 Richter scale!.But an amazing town!.Gracias mis amigos BLT!!
Hi Henry! Fall would be a great time to visit. When we were there in early May it was in the mid 20sC and it still felt hot in the old town, we wouldn't like to visit in the middle of summer, it would be SOO hot! Wow, 5.7 would have given you a bit of a shock. Gracias por ver Henry!
We visited Dubrovnik for a day while in a cruise 🚢 . It beautiful and we would like to visit again. This time for a week or two. Can you tell me if it’s expensive and how much have you budgeted if you don’t mind.
It really is beautiful, however it is expensive compared to the rest of Croatia and other parts of Europe. Our rough expenses were around US$45/night for a small studio apartment and meals were around US$20-US$30 per person. All the tours were expensive as well, for example just walking all the old city walls were around US$35. It is free to enter the old town though. We recommend going out of the peak season either in May or September (we were there in May).
I loved visiting the town!!! It’s funny when I went there 23 years ago don’t work that many tourist but I think because of the Game of Thrones, it has become more popular
Wow, it would have been great to visit 23 years ago without all the tourists! Game of Thrones certainly helped with the popularity. To be fair, that is what put Dubrovnik on our bucket list!
Hi Ostoja, thanks for watching and glad you liked it! Aussies don't know the difference between seas and oceans because they only know the big ocean that separates them from the rest of the world!
Hi FreeRadical1, no we haven't been to Africa yet, it is definitely on our list though. What countries in Africa have you been to and what would you recommend we visit?
