- Kasar Devi is known as the best place to do meditation in India, and also seems to be the best weekend getaway in Uttarakhand. You can easily take a train till Kathgodam railway station and take a shared taxi/ bus/ private taxi which can take about 3-4 hours to reach Kasar Devi.
Kasar Devi has places of historical importance, it has got some of the best sunset views, beautiful hikes that can lead to lagoons, amazing cafes that are not just budget friendly, but offer delicious food with beautiful food! Honestly, if I had to do a workcation in Uttarakhand, of all places I have visited before, would have chose Kasar Devi. Hope this video does justice to various aspects of this place and makes you wanna hit the road soon too!!
