In the US these are sold by American dealers, assembled in Georgia and the 365 has a US built Cummins 275hp motor. Not the Isuzu seen here. It has a 5000 hour warrantee, 3rd largest manufacturer in the world. In my very rural state Cat and Deere are not stocking big machines on their lots but Sany actually is. it's nice to see something before you buy it. Yeah I would rather buy American too... I don't really know what the parts make up of the American brands is either. but all of this construction equipment is built all over the world. Cat has a huge presence in China. No one likes their off brand engines In recent years lower-priced Asian rivals with a less robust dealer support network have risen to power to challenge Cat. The quality of aftermarket parts has risen dramatically in the past 10 years and are right on par with CAT OEM Parts. The major aftermarket parts are all made in ISO 9001 factories and offer better warranty and pricing that Caterpillar. A little known secret in the industry is that CAT no longer makes their own parts. Caterpillar is simply a brand. The same parts manufacturers make parts for both CAT and the aftermarket companies. It is the same exact part but one is stamped "OEM" and other is branded "Aftermarket". The consumer is paying a premium for that CAT label but may not be getting better quality for the price. The world is a global marketplace and the internet now supplies parts and equipment at a click of a mouse oftentimes making the old brick and mortar obsolete. Cat is also putting a LOT of very proprietary electronic controls in the name of safety etc NO ONE WANTS so you have to be enslaved to your dealer. Cat is trying to become a fleet manager . Sany is a brand that a company may actually want to own, in a world of rental Deeres and Cats.
I've owned and operated nearly all brands of machines in most sizes short and long term over the last 30 years. I have my favourite brand as do most experienced operators, and all brands look and feel relatively great when they are new, but show me a Sany working after it's done 4,000+hrs.
Hah there's No Hydraulic Thumb on the Bucket , kinda like a Human hand missing our Thumb digit ,in other words useless for grabbing Soft Serv ice cream.
Good video. Ignore the negative comments. Stay safe and vigilant. From Canada.
