Thanks Kevin, I look forward to making some new content for 2024 - hopefully more collaboration with other photographers and try out new genres outside of my comfort zone. Happy New Year!
What fabulous shots! I grew up on the farm where the Grainstore is, but seeing your photos have made me appreciate the views more than ever. Thank you.
Wow, what a lovely place to grow up! Plus you can appreciate that the legacy of the grain store lives on, as all of the original structure is still there supporting the new walls and roofs.
I have really enjoyed your videos over the years and find them entertaining and informative but, mostly I watch them because I find you very genuine. Wonderful job and thanks.
Cheers John, much appreciated. I try to put out the best videos possible and make each one different in one way or another. I have lots of ideas for future projects…..
As an individual who has had the pleasure in meeting you in person and also exchanging messages out with the channel, I would like to say thank you Ben for the inspirational, educational and entertaining work that you create and share. I've said it before that you opened a door to a world I never knew existed and 6 years later I am totally immersed in it and it gives me so much fulfilment to be on this journey of discovery that I hope will continue for many years to come. Hopefully get the chance to catch up again some time in 2024
@@benharveyphotography That would be a lot of fun. If you make it to Vegas, that should be easy! Great jumping-off spot for Death Valley -- has an unusual lake almost 300' below sea level right now, BTW -- Grand Canyon, Zion, a lot of nearby photographer bait. L.A. is only 4 hours from here too. I was just in London Nov. 2022, might make it to Brighty someday.
when I tip others about your channel I always forget the name of it.., then I start hearing "animal nitrate" in my mind and remember the sunglasses and the Suede look (sorry if that offends but for me its a compliment) and that makes me remember the name and recommend it.. I really enjoy the smooth feeling of your videos since they never feel rushed...
I would have liked to come up with a more original channel name, but I already had the website domain and wanted to keep everything consistent I probably would have gone with something stupid like Maverick Photography or top gun related, but that might have put off commercial clients! I appreciate you enjoying the pace of my videos, as they go against the grain of what is typically encouraged on social media. You have to bombard the viewer with text and transitions and quickly changing scene all the time, but I want to attract an audience that dedicates a bit of time to watch my videos rather than trying to hold people’s attention. Hopefully that makes sense.
Ben, I loved this video. I have photoshop envy on a couple of later shots with the sublime light. Thanks for inspiring me and introducing me to the loveliness of the South Downs. Good to shoot with you and here’s to 20224 and exploring more. Louise
Thanks Ben for your fantastic channel, I love seeing my local(ish) area on your videos, I’ll be going passed there at 6:00 in the morning, but won’t have time to stop unfortunately. 😖 I would love to see a video of you with Henry Turner down this way, I think you would make a good team, with you showing him around this area. Keep up the good work in 2024. Happy New year to you and all your followers. 👍👍
Thanks Andy, you are one of those on the train looking south towards that view thinking - I should photograph that one day….I do a lot of work in Lewes so I have seen that view many times. There don’t seem to be many people in the south east making landscape videos, everyone else is based in The Lake District, Walls, Scotland - why are more people not in Sussex?
It is indeed, we have plenty of scenes to point your camera at in Sussex. I am hoping that the sun returns some time soon, the weather in the UK recently has given me plenty of time to catch up on my editing!
Love your channel! I live nearby and do go out with my camera and drone from time to time. Thanks for all the locations mentioned in your videos! Sussex is a stunning place for photography.
Thank you, I hope you find my location information helpful. If you visit one of the locations I share please tag me in them on IG, if you are on there, I would love to see how others capture the same scene.
I love your videos and always will, you make very interesting and informative films and you are a very talented photographer, so what’s not to like! Keep up the great work, you have a loyal viewer in me! All the very best to you in 2024
Ben, once again a very watchable video & thanks for the thanks Ben, if that makes sense? I must get myself sorted out with a few days at the Grain Store. In the meantime, I'm just a tiny bit jealous of you staying there. Wishing you & yours a very Happy New Year.
A thank you inception! I appreciate your regular engagement and I am sure we will meet up in person some time soon, we were discussing a London to Brighton car-run perhaps? Happy New Year!
The scenery you see from that train journey is spectacular and I can well understand why you also enjoy it. I've never quite figured out how to get there without having to jump out of moving train window! Keep up the good work. :)
Hi Richard, the view is lovely isn’t it. If you want to visit this location, then you can grab a coffee at Starbucks and walk to this what3words location (100m) along the lane winks.tube.polygraph and once you pass under the viaduct you will see an opening into the fields. There is a path running along the side of the field, so no crops need to be harmed to get there. You have to be travelling west on the A27 to pull into the Starbucks, which is a hard left on the slip road. Let me know if you have any other questions about getting there.
😊All the photos are magnificent but I especially like the one at 5:25 which shows the sun shining about halfway in the photo. I’ve always liked the photos of the rolling hills. Well done!
Hey Ben - cant really improve on Scotty's comment below haha, but also it was lovely to meet you and Gordon last year, and if you are both around in April next year, I'll be back in Sussex again from NZ. Keep making the vids, love the passion, skills and of course the RayBan Pilots haha - must get me some.... All the best to you and your family this festive season 👏🎄🎅📷
It was great you meet you in person also Phil, and share a coffee with you. I haven’t showcased the beanie you got me in any of my videos yet. I could have done with it that day, far too windy! Haha. Look forward to meeting up with you in April!
Nice one Ben, only 20150 more followers to comment on here for you. Thoroughly enjoy your video's so wishing you and everyone else on here all the very best for 2024 and beyond. 🍷🍷🍷
Hi Ben Happy New Year. I rarely comment on peoples videos that I watch! As of watching this video from 2024 I'll be commenting on yours and others content creators videos. I totally agree you need feedback for encouragement and support. You'll be hearing from me. Nice one.
Thank you Justin, I watch a lot of YT as well as make videos and I do what I can to create engagement on videos that I find helpful. Larger channels you cant expect to get a response all the time, as they simply have too many comments to respond to - but without the comments it is a very one way conversation and essentially I am talking to a camera in a field in this video!
Wife: what are your doing? Me: hanging with Ben. Wife: doesn't he get annoyed with having an old man follow his RUclips channel? Me; well, apparently not, at least so far he hasn't blocked me, but I guess that could come😁 Thanks Ben, your videos are always a pleasure.
I appreciate the sentiment of hanging out with me, I like that. The majority of my audience is male, older - but now that I am 40 I think of myself as old! Thank you for following!
Subscriber, yes. Regular viewer, yes. Looking forward to your 2024 journey.

Just found your channel today and I’ve subscribed. Best of luck in 2024.

Your videos are great the visual and music. Your photography is brilliant!!
Thank you so much. I genuinely enjoy photography, as it is my escapism from my work and other life commitments, so it is easy to much look fun :-)

Loving the gold at 6:12!
That was a contrasty scene that required a bit of editing, but I got there! I was very lucky with the conditions that morning.
