Thanks all for popping by. This was harder than I thougt but I will beat this illness. Please comment what you want to see next. Most inventive will get pinned and I will put it on the list of challenges to do.
im new here i enjoyed video, i suffer with chrons disease i cant eat dairy or meat so i lost weight, this helps me alot. thanks very much mate, love from cornwall uk my friend
Wow. Congrats on 30 years Simon , glad to see you coming back and trying to help others . Also being a male with an Ed is ignored and we both almost lost our lives to it .
It's awesome to see someone doing this to prove that recovery is possible and eating is OK. To see another male doing it just makes it all the more important.
Well done Simon! Im in recovery for atypical anorexia nervosa right now and this actually did inspire me to maybe try this out myself just to show myself that I can do it. Would you recommend this challenge to anyone? I'm not underweight and don't need gain, but my levels are really bad and therefor I am being told to eat more, hence why I'm wondering if you'd recommend this challenge to anyone with an eating disorder. also want to tell you that you have been an inspiration to me through my own recovery. thank you :)
thank you for your comment and sorry i haven't replied yet. I would recommend this challenge if you see it as a personal challenge. what i am saying is that if you see a food, food type, amount of food etc as a challenge then it is worth fighting, since that is the ED speaking. if you want specific advice please conact me. I uploaded a new video this week too, so please have a look!
I applaud you. However Is this recovery? Or is this just another binge restrict cycle? I'm just aware that we only see one day of your life and we all know how ED dictate 99% of how we live the rest of our lives. Anyway, all the best bud 😜
Thanks for your message. A cycle like this would entail restriction after. The challenge for me was to prove that a day of overeating would not be followed by any kind of restriction. I managed to do this and prove I can have “off days” and will use this on days like Christmas. I will also be doing other challenges for myself including fear foods, random food (ie I can’t choose) etc that aren’t related to huge amounts too.
